    Le Chaperon Rouge
On a Tuesday evening, when arrived to pick up my child, I was handed a LETTER, signed by the Administrator stating that my child could not come back to the school until she was seen by a physician or specialist that claimed the condition was of medical cause or a plan was set in place to overcome the issue. I would have, at the very least, expected a phone call or a meeting regarding this decision that the school administrator had made. I learned later that her teacher had even packed up my child's things, cleared out her cubby mid-day and even told my daughter that she was not coming back and was going to a new school the next day! She was FOUR YEAR'S OLD! Completely unprofessional and it was a blessing in disguise!

    Massage Envy
My massage therapist, Gordon, is very professional and easy to talk with. I have a 90-minute session with him on a regular basis, and he always checks with me to see what, if any, issues I've been having since we last had an appointment. This time I expressed concern about lower back pain. As a result, he devoted extra time at the end of the session to working out any especially tight muscles in that area.
The front desk staff is always polite, and they keep things running smoothly. I look forward to my next appointment.

    Power of LIFE Chiropractic Wellness
What really gives Dr. Ruocco the It factor is that, second only to his devotion to his family, the health of his clients is his number one priority and passion. He takes the time with each client to check in with them on how they are doing, changes since he last saw them and any questions or concerns they may have. (Note, this is why he may run a bit behind. Im OK with it as I know he will spend the time needed when he sees me.) One of his main tools is education. He holds free seminars in Rocky River, Bay Village and North Ridgeville. Some of the topics hes addressed in the past include: the thyroid, fibromyalgia, menopause, children's health, and headaches/migraines.
With regard to the office environment I have found it a very professional, pleasant, personable and relaxing. The music played in the office covers pretty much ever genre. Ive heard Classical, Country, Michael Jackson, Contemporary Christian, Barry Manilow, Disney, and I believe even some Dean Martin. Clients are respectful of the relaxing environment by not talking on their phones or having loud conversations.
When I started seeing Dr. Ruocco I was skeptical of Chiropractic in general and wasnt too sure about the adjustment process, however I now look forward to my appointments. How much do I trust Dr. Ruocco and what he does? My 82 yr. old mother is now seeing him for both Chiropractic care and Nutritional support. Im looking forward to see how her health improves.

    HORIZON ACTIVITIES
We began utilizing Horizon's last school year (2012-2013). It was very unorganized, to the point we never knew where our child was located for pick up. Additionally our child didn't like the lack of structure, which is saying a ton for an 8 year old.
This year (2013-2014) there is a new center director who seems to be really trying to get things reined in at the school. There have been hiccups along the way, but we do notice an effort being made to streamline and maintain standard processes across the before/after care program. If things continue to go in this direction I'd definitely upgrade my rating.

    Holistic Lakewood
They are very easy to work with. They allow you to schedule appointments around your schedule. I felt like they had an individualistic approach to treatment. It wasn't a one thing fits all approach like going to a doctor. They also recommended several books that could be read to help me become more knowledgeable.

    Breathe
Wendy at Breathe has been my massage therapist for the past 6 months. Wendy is excellent at finding and releasing my tensed muscles and is a pleasure to talk to and a wonderful person as well!  I always feel so much better after a session with her. Wendy is very skilled at massage techniques and has extensive knowledge of the muscle groups she works on.  She provides a personalized massage based on your needs and preferences and has a calming, soothing voice and presence that aids the relaxation process.
Wendy really cares about her clients.  After your appointment is over, she will take the time to talk with you and get to know you.  She answers any questions you have about how to help relieve muscle tension and gives advice about exercise and other ways to de-stress and relax in-between sessions.  The facility is clean, nicely decorated and well cared for and is a reflection of the professionalism and dedication of the staff. I highly recommend her.

    ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATES
The physical therapy department at Orthopaedic Associates is well run, highly professional with terrific caring staff. Setting up therapy schedule was fast and efficient and they accommodated my day/time preferences. The tailor made therapy will have me walking without a cane in no time. The facility is sparkling clean, and the equipment is modern and complete to handle any type of therapy.

    CHC PHYSICAL THERAPY
The therapy was far more successful than my orthopedist or I had imagined. In fact, when I returned to my surgeon for my six-week checkup, he was astonished. He told me that he was overwhelmed by my progress. He mentoned that he had wondered if I would achieve complete extension of my knee and was thrilled that I had. I now walk without a cane and without a limp. I had not been able to do this for over ten years.
I had been to two other therapists over the past 15 years and nothing compares with what I encountered at CHC.The therapists follow the MacKenzie method of therapy, a therapy that acknowledges the importance of the nerves in physical recovery. O'Malley and her therapists stress a pain-free approach to phsycial therapy. They draw on machines such as the Repex, the BodyPhyx, and the Total Gym to provide their clients with the most advanced rehabilitation possible. They are sensitive, caring therapists who put their patients first.
Everyone at this facility has treated me with the greatest respect and kindness. Now that my official therapy has ended, I am enrolled in the wellness program so that I can continue to improve my balance, gait, and joint health.
I would recommend CHC Therapy to everyone!
