I went to this spa years ago for a pedicure (that was awful) and a substandard facial (I'm a spa junkie, so I'm somewhat accustomed to good service); however, I had heard that it was under different management, so I attempted to return. I tried the $75 body exfoliation/bronzing procedure ($100 with tip) approximately two weeks ago to be assured of its value and quality. Tori did a great job, so I assumed when I returned for the same procedure a second time (different woman) and for a relatively important community event the following evening, that I would receive the same quality. I, unfortunately, did not. I did everything as directed (I actually go beyond - wore a loose fitting paper thin tank dress all day and didn't shower at all until the next day - didn't use a scrub/soap - pat myself dry). You seriously cannot tell that I have had anything done. I look just as pale had I not received it, so now, Iand quot;m attempting to lather self-tanning lotion on for the event tonight to give some appearance of color. Ugh! I hate when I do everything to properly prepare for such events, and it goes awry.

Missy O. had been doing my hair for about a year.  I explicitly stated my anxiety about having my hair cut/trimmed. It took three years to grow to a length in which I was happy.  Every time that I arrived, I would say, "just a mini-mini trim."  She abided by these desires during the honeymoon phase of hairstylist acclimation.  When she returned from maternity leave (I might have been her first cut too since her return), it was an entirely different mindset.  I guess hairstylists call it "emotional cutting."   I specifically stated mini-mini trim.  When she was done, she had the audacity to say, "Just how you like it....can't even tell."  I got into the car and cried! My hair was ONE length of about eighteen inches before I arrived that day.  I walked out with LAYERS (that I NEVER wanted) with no rhyme or reason.  Some of the layers were 1-2 inches long.  Seriously the top back portion of my hair (which was down to my bra strap was now approximately two inches - if that).   I couldn't believe it!
Furthermore, I had very sparse bangs (just how I like it), and she decided to bring my bangs back another two inches which would have required approximately a 12 inch cut.  It is now 13 months later, and I awaken daily in a disgusted manner not knowing how to approach this layered style.  The middle portion of my hair in the back was also MUCH shorter than the back sides.  It takes forever to do my hair now, and I'm once again back to my old apprehensive self of never trusting a hairstylist again.  All of my friends and colleagues looked at me and said, "Where did your hair go?"  My holiday picture was ruined, and I've postponed my wedding for an additional two years now.  I know, I know...it sounds silly.  It's only hair, right?  But when you're my age and spend three years to grow out hair only for it to be destroyed, it is devastating.  I'm not sure what she was thinking, but I often wonder how she would have handled her stylist taking off such length to her hair.  One of the reasons that I selected her is it was my belief that a person with long hair would understand and empathize with scissor-happy fears.
I finally got up enough nerve to see someone else (about ten months later)  after the back length was so brazenly egregious, and she asked if I had requested my hair cut be in an inverted manner.  She actually had to cut even more to straighten it.  It was either sport a reverse mullet or attempt to repair the damage by cutting even more.  So, I sit here 13 months later still angry as my hair is probably the shortest it has ever been.  Based on hair growth calculations, I will not be anywhere close to my desired length for an additional year (so, two years after the fact).  I've looked into hair extensions all over the country, but I fear that this process might damage what little hair that I have left from this hair nightmare in November, 2012.  From this point on, I will always demand that I hold a handheld mirror and give verbal approval prior to every single cut by my future stylist.
This spa has actually lost a lot of business from me as I'm a spa junkie.  I was considering transferring all of my business to this facility should my confidence in my stylist continue.  It just reassured me that I will maintain my home spa services.  Furthermore, I will continue to inform my social and professional circles to not frequent this establishment.

Razor is not like other salons that will ruin your hair over time with processes and harsh techniques. He looks at you as a whole and cuts your hair to fit your desired look. He keeps your hair healthy and modern. Luv Him!

The place is all geared for children and they have kids movies playing. The kids don't seat in a chair, they sit on little animals from a merry go round and get their hair cut. There are all kinds of toys and my kids just love going to get the haircut there. They only charge $8 to do a haircut with clippers and if they have to use scissors, the charge is $12.00.

The stylists are very professional; they are good if I have a picture, it is really helpful to them if I have a style I want to show them. They are very convenient; they do not take appointments.
