On time, material was all on site prior to start, they were very experienced with the installation of the screens and Trex, ( very little waste and fast installation). BWhiting Construction CoBrian of Whiting Construction Co tore my front porch down and poured concrete for the bottom and enclosed it. It is like a sunroom in there. There are 9 long windows in there, they go from the ceiling to the floor. He was good. The guys came on time and they were polite. They did the job they were supposed to do and I didn't have any problems at all. I was comfortable to have him in my home - he is a local guy and I know quite a few people that have had him do work for them. He's got a pretty good reputation.- Carol D.

FEnergy Wise Home ImprovementsWe received an estimate to build a patio enclosure. It quickly became clear during the estimating process they were more interested in selling me on their financing plan. They used every slimy sales tactic in the book - “this price is only good until I leave”, “I cant give you an estimate until the office runs the numbers”, etc. They gave very little information on what exactly they were quoting me and the work to be done - I felt he was just trying to get as much money out of me as possible and would build whatever he could with that budget, rather than just ask me what we wanted. The final straw was when he refused to provide the estimate until air woke up my wife, who was sleeping with our newborn child in the nursery. He claimed he couldn’t show numbers to me without her present. I told him I didn’t appreciate his dishonest sales tactics and told him to leave.- Bijan H.

BSupplies delivered and sat on my roof for 2weeks. Roof was completed in one day but the gutter covers were not done. It took a week and persistence on my behalf to finally get the gutters taken care of a week later. Someone dropped the ball and communications were weak until I got the ball rolling. The job seems to have been completed without complications but it's only been less than a week since completion.

AThe company was excellent, because my chimney was leaking they fit me into their already schedule, and worked around it. They are about an hour away and they went above and beyond to accommodate me and my schedule. They explained the exact problem and the exact remedy. They took pictures of the job to explain everything they were going to do and everything they actually did. Their workers were polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They showed up on time.They finished the job when they said they were. I can definitely see why they are super service award winners. Highly recommend.

FSTAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS MESS OF A COMPANY AS POSSIBLE! Would you like to waste your time and money? Would you like to be repeatedly lied to? How about leaving your yard in shambles for weeks after being told it would take 1-2 days? How about them using your personal property as ladder props? How would you like them to not even finish and tell you they did?! How would you like to have them “fix” all this, only to make it worse ? How would you like all your shingles to be wavy with nails sticking out ? Yes? All of this and more could be yours if you choose The Third Estimate! Worst possible nightmare experience of ANY company in my life. None of this is exaggerated, I promise you that. They’re lucky we didn’t sue them, but I was leaving on deployment and didn’t want anymore hassle. The only thing they did right was give us a FULL REFUND because they knew the work was garbage.
