DPOWERHOME SolarI had my panels installed in November of 2019. There were many discrepancies between what the sales associated had promised me and what I actually received. First I ordered enough panels to supposedly cover 60% of my electric consumption. However, my monthly power bill wasn't even reduced a third. Second, I was promised an app so detailed it would even break things down to what each panel was producing so I would know if there was an issues with any of them. What I actually received was a very basic app that only tells me what my whole system produces each month with no further break down. I never received the money promised for making referrals either. You do not get what you're promised by this company. Do not trust the sales team! or customer service for that matter in correcting it or working with you to resolve things.- William M.

AValley Energy Solutions DBA Valley Energy SolarI have used them over the last several years. They also do follow up work such as insulation, window replacement and sealing duct spaces. They install photovoltaic arrays and do heat pumps and geothermal work; they provide all around energy solutions. It is one of the more educational experiences we have had with any contractor. He is very thorough on gathering data about our home and provided a multi-page recommendation for improving our energy consumption. He provided a general outline including steps which would be most cost effective down to the one which would be least cost effective; this is done as part of the energy audit. He provides superior services when it comes to installing and installations if you chose to use him to implement any suggestions. With his knowledge base he is very particular about making sure that the job is done correctly and is meticulous about cleaning up after himself and his workers. They are timely and he is a local guy who uses local subcontractors and tries to focus on American-made products so he has the right attitude about the environment and the city in which he lives. He is a little pricey but you get what you pay for.- William R.

AYellowlite did a great job. They were competitive against other solar installers, and then offered an end of the year discount that made them the winning bid. Gross cost was $2.53/W, and I will get 26% back as a tax credit. It took ~8 weeks from signing contract to install, and installation took 3 days for the electrician, 1 day for rooftop crew. They were very flexible and great to work with. For example, instead of routing conduit on the roof to connect two separate panel sections, I asked them to go through the attic, and they made the change without a second thought. The quality was great, and the electrician took his time to make the installation look good. The city inspector didn't spend much time looking at the system once he knew it was YellowLite--he was already familiar with their quality. Although the final 20% was earned for them upon startup, I did have to chase down permitting status with the utility, but only lost 1.5 weeks of solar (in cloudy February).

AThe company was excellent, because my chimney was leaking they fit me into their already schedule, and worked around it. They are about an hour away and they went above and beyond to accommodate me and my schedule. They explained the exact problem and the exact remedy. They took pictures of the job to explain everything they were going to do and everything they actually did. Their workers were polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They showed up on time.They finished the job when they said they were. I can definitely see why they are super service award winners. Highly recommend.
