  Ed Compton Construction Inc

  Fantastic. Ed and Matt did all the work in about 4 days. They didn't finish patching the siding on Friday like they had hoped and Ed came back on Saturday afternoon to get it completed. They worked every day from about 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and it was HOT. They were effecient, knowledgable, and friendly. We had been referred to him by some friends who had just had their porch roof torn off and replaced by him. Our friends had contacted many companies for an estimate and told us that he was one of the most reasonable of the few who ever bothered to call them back or come out for an estimate. As we talked to Ed during our first meeting for the estimate, it was realized that he had worked on the house for the previous owners and had been part of a crew that had done the front porch, room addition and the siding on this house about 20 years ago. All that work is still in place and was done wonderfully so that gave us confidence in hiring him. Also, his estimate was accurate and there were no surprise hidden fees or adjustments. We were lucky enough to catch him in between jobs with a week of downtime before starting a big job but our friends had to wait several weeks while he finished another job so if you need something done, I recommend contacting Ed in advance to get on his schedule. We are beyond pleased and will contact him for any future work we decide to have done.

  Accurate Painting & Construction

  We were very happy with the quality of Jason's work. Jason was very nice and professional. We went from a dark brown on our home to a light tan which required two coats. He also suggested a different trim color then we picked out and I love it. He also replaced a side piece of our wood siding that was rotted and it matched perfect. We have had Jason back to install trim and doors in our finished basement which looks very nice. We will have Jason back for future projects.

  Once the project was scheduled, we were told it would take a day or two. The full process ended up taking over a month, with occasional work being done here and there, then having to make several calls to get outstanding issues taken care of.

  Revere Roofing Company Inc

  This is the third ime I have engaged AAIBC.  The first time was to clear ice in the dead of winter from our box gutters (2014).  The second was a major repair job to our 1871 farm house that had significant rot in in one corner, sill to ceiling, eave & soffit repair,  cleaning and re-sealing our box gutter, the removal of a massive bee hive, significant replacement and repair of the siding, carpentry work on damaged corbels, installation of soffits vents (2015).  This last service was for about 5 minor roofing issues. Issac White, the owner, is especially knowledgeable about older homes, slate roofs, box gutter, etc.  He does everything possible to not compromise the aesthetics of your home.  His roofing crew is particularly good and punctual.

  A Brush of Class Painting Services Inc

  Jamie was quick with an estimate on this painting job.  His estimate was right in line with the others I had received and I decided to go with him because he was local and very frank about his services.   He was responsive in terms of scheduling the job for the coming summer at a time convenient to us.  They did a good job prepping the job, even power washed some mildew-y patio steps without being asked, and then completed the job in the time frame promised.   When I called him about some fairly significant areas of pine knots from new replacement siding bleeding through his paint job, Jamie without hesitation returned to our house in the Fall to stain-block these areas and then repainted them a few days later.  He is a no-nonsense kind of guy and gets the job done with his one co-worker without a lot of gab.

  Newlook Sidings Inc

  From start to finish, project went better than I expected it to.  This was a lot of work and it was completed within the time quoted, the end result is simply amazing.  No one can believe the difference in the house.  Ed did everything he promised, and then some.  He also guarantees his work, no questions asked.  I will recommend him to everyone I know that is thinking about having their house done.  I have a couple projects that are going to be completed next year, and Ed is coming back after that work is complete to make sure the siding covers up any new areas due to the new projects.  You simply can't find service like this, and believe me, I have had my share of bad contractors.

  Advanced Construction & Remodeling

  Project was never finished........Advanced construction was to return when the ground thawed to fix excavation that was done incorrectly and reseed lawn. It is now May and have not seen or heard from anyone.
  All finishing aspects of home addition were not properly done. All drywall needs redone as you can see all seams, tape, nail heads and poor sanding.
  Workers smoked in home even after addressing the problem with the owner Smokey Ross. When they did decided to smoke outside they put their cigarette butts out on the newly installed composite deck leaving two considerable size black melted burns. My yard has hundreds of cigarette butts in it from workers even though I don't smoke!
  

  Flooring in master bedroom closet had 3 large chunks taken out of it due to carelessness and was filled in with a black marker.
  An area of kitchen floor that was put in new was ruined only a week or so later when they failed to hook the dishwasher drain hose up properly leaving the dishwasher to drain on the floor warping it. Was told it would be taken care of but it never was.
  The owner Arthur Smokey Ross will not return any of my phone calls, texts, emails or even registered letters sent in attempt to get things taken care of.
  8 ft section of flashing on outside of home above door was never installed leaving the bare wood exposed to the elements.
  Hose connections was never installed like agreed upon.
  Leaking gutters
  Owner Arthur Smokey Ross removed a table from my home that he agreed to buy for $300 but refused to pay for, actually refused to even acknowledge the table in countless messages to him requesting payment.  I was forced to take him to small claims court to recover the $300.00. I was awarded judgement against him. 
  STAY AWAY from Advanced Construction/ Arthur Smokey Ross. He is very personable and professional in the beginning stages but you quickly learn that he is out only for himself and doesn't care if the job is done correctly or at all. My only option now due to the contract I foolishly signed with Advanced Construction is to hire legal counsel and proceed with mediation. Just more time and money that I don't have to throw into this project. I just wanted what I paid nearly $90,000 for to be completed correctly and any issues to be addressed and corrected in a timely professional fashion.

  Roof Medic

  Lead Medic figured out what had been stumping other roofing companies for 4 years.  I can't even begin to count how many times we had our original roofer out to try and figure out where our ceiling leaks were coming from (upwards of 12 times over four years).  Roof Medic came out, spent a hour or more checking the roof, took pictures, developed a plan, and provided us with a temporary fix until they could come out and permanently fix the problem. 
  They came out within three weeks of their initial visit, got right to work, cleaned up everything and so far our problems have not reappeared.  We also have a two year warranty on the fix, and while I'm giving it another couple of months before I start sealing the stains and painting ceilings (after such a long standing problem, I have trust issues!); I think this time our problems have been solved.

  Cardinal Builders

  I felt like they were really being dishonest. Their work was not satisfactory. I told them the gutters looked funny and they denied it. I can't prove anything, but I wasn't happy. I felt they were trying to take advantage of me.
