    Doctor Tune It Piano Services
    This piano tuner was delightful. Not only was he very professional but he was one of the most personable individuals we have ever had come to our home for services. Our piano now sounds wonderful and works beautifully.

    ONE STOP STORAGE
    The storage units are cleaned, and since they are next to a car wash, there is usually someone on the premises at all times to talk to in case of any problems. I have always felt safe there.
    I initially had problems locking and unlocking the unit door--the management provided a brand new lock, but the door mechanism was stiff and difficult to operate. I could usually find someone to help, though sometimes the employee on duty said he did not know what to do. 
    There is one issue that has been a bit inconvenient. Payments must be made at the company's central location on W. Main, in a beverage sales outlet. Once I got in the habit of paying at a different location, it was not a problem. Perhaps they have a way to pay online, but I was not told about this if it exists. The employees on duty at both locations are usually not aware of how much is owed or what to do about any issues/questions (like other available units, etc.). They provide the owner's cell phone number, though, and she is good about responding to voice mail.
    The pricing was higher than I expected for a 10' by 5' unit in Newark, but I checked around and the price is the same or lower compared to other local storage unit providers.

    The Watch Doctor
    I had two ziploc bags of watches in various states of disrepair.  Some  still didn't work after I had discount store jewelry counter batteries put in but I hated to throw them away.  I thought such a professional watch expert would not be interested in even looking at them for me, especially since I planned to donate most of them to St. Vincent DePaul thrift shop.  However, Jeff was very personable over the phone and arranged a date for me to come to his home, working around his shifts at the fire station.  I knew right away he was meticulous, when I saw two white vehicles in his garage that were spotless despite the slushy mess all over Columbus!  He was very understanding of what I was after and charged me just $3 for each battery he installed. I was very surprised, but he said that's his rate for Angie's List customers for batteries.  It was extremely interesting to visit his downstairs workshop where he had repairs in progress on a variety of watches.  I plan to take an antique pocket watch to him for repairs in the future.  He impressed me as very trustworthy and skilled, so much so that he has taught watchmaking courses.

    I just renewed my daughters apartment lease with the Abby Rd. apartments in Newark, Ohio and I must say that she loves living there. The apartments are well built and her neighbors are awesome! I wanted to write a little note to review the company who manages them, because I feel that they deserve a little recognition. She had an issue with a bad water heater and they were so understanding and provided prompt service to get it fixed. She worked with a girl named Melanne who was very easy going and great to work with. If you are looking for an awesome apartment with great service I highley recommend checking out these apartments for your next place!

    Riverside Methodist Hospital
    The doctor was great but the residents and nurses needs some work. There was some medication that I did not get. The resident thought that it was better for me not to get that medication and I ended up suffering from the side effects. You have to be your own patient advocate when it comes to your care. I never saw any of the residents but they were making all of the decisions about my care. I would probably not use their services again in the future.

    She was great. My experience with them was amazing. They were wonderful. They were good with the kids. Everybody was very friendly. They were very professional. They were wonderful dancers. It was just a good experience. I would recommend them.

    Woodbury Outfitters
    Woodbury Outfitters had what I was looking for and it was on sale. The price was pretty good. They have a pretty good selection and is comparable to other stores. They weren't busy during the week. It is a little bit of a drive from Newark. The location is a negative, because it doesn't have a big city around it. It is more in the country. I only gave them a B, because of the distance I had to drive to get there, that is more of a personal thing.

    Had an excellent experience each and every time I have used them. Would recommend them to others. I had questions about a screen they repaired for me on my sliding glass door over a year ago and they called in to the office, and were told to bring it back to look at the problem.

    They have changed their system; they now have what you call hospitalists. There is no coordination, no communication; it is bad news. I used to work there; it was good hospital when I worked there. But they have changed what they do now as far as doctors and who has privileges and who doesn't; and who is on staff and who isn't. Trust me, it is horrible. My husband was admitted through the emergency room. We told them what was wrong. He had had a tooth pulled and had a piece of bone work out. He went back to the dentist and found it was infected. The dentist took the piece out but did not put him on an antibiotic. When we went to the hospital I told the staff there what was going on; that he was septic; that the infection had gone in his bloodstream. We were totally ignored as far as what we told them; so his treatment was not what it should have been. They did admit him and I stayed in the hospital with him for three days; it is a good thing I did. We will not use them again in the future.
