AR D RAMSEYER DVMDr. Ramseyer and his staff have always been kind and considerate of our pets and of us. They appear to really like animals and did what they could to make the animals, and us, feel very comfortable. The cost is reasonable and they have always been very responsive.

ATHE DOGGY DUDE RANCHThe owner was super friendly and the facility was nice and spacious. They provide a little "bedroom" for each pet and do not overbook/spread themselves too thin. I will definitely do repeat business!- Diane R.

AMEEGAN KENNELSI had to go out of town and was unable to leave my dog with someone as I had originally planned. I called Meegan Kennels on Friday morning, 5/10/2013, and was told I could bring her right in. They callled my vet to verify that shots were current. I've taken my pet to Meegan Kennels in the past. My pet is always well cared for.

DNorth 21ST Street Vet ClinicI took my otherwise healthy new 9 week old puppy to this veterinary office on Saturday May 4th 2013 to be treated for worms and to receive a flea treatment. I'm not even sure HOW it happened, but she ended up also receiving her 'first' shots even though I told the vet on duty that the person I got the puppy from said she had her first shots and that I just hadn't received the paperwork yet. Anyway, by Monday morning, my active, bird chasing, full of life puppy was dead. They said she had parvovirus. However, when I contacted the woman who I got her from, the rest of the litter was tested today and all came back negative for parvo. I find it unlikely that she passed from parvo if none of her littermates contracted the virus.
The vet was dismissive, the pricing was ambiguous (not told until after service was provided)
If you MUST go to this clinic, make sure to ask for Dr. Underwood and only her! The other vet (I cannot recall her name at this time) is a joke.

BUNDERWOOD ANIMAL HOSPITALStarted with a visit to the vet and they found large bladder stones in our 12 lb dog, so they recommended surgery. We set that up and they were able to do it a week later. The price was expensive (around $400), but we heard good things about the Dr there. They kept our dog overnight and we dropped her off in the morning and they called us when the operation was completed to let us know everything went ok and when we could pick her up. After picking her up things went just fine. Her recovery was good. I was happy with the communication and professionalism displayed, I just wish it would have cost less.

ABuckeye Mobile Veterinary ServicesKaren Henry and her assistant arrived promptly at 4:30 pm on a Wednesday afternoon, the agreed-on appointment time. She was tremendously supportive in this emotional time, and I can't thank her enough for her caring manner, and kindness to Reiley and me. Karen scanned my condo, and suggested that Rye come into the kitchen area, and lay down on a small rug there. I called the dog, and Rye hopped out of his crate, walked into the kitchen, and followed my gestures to lie down by the refrigerator. Karen started an IV into his back leg, while I petted his head, and talked to him softly as the sedatives were administered. It was thankfully, a short, peaceful process. Karen removed the remains for cremation, and I picked up Rye's ashes two days later at a Columbus-area funeral home.
I asked Karen how she handeled this emotional task in her business. Karen said that she offers all the usual kinds of vet services, so these sad occasions are not the majority of her business. But I remember the tears in her eyes as we talked about seeing our wonderful pets again, in Heaven. I believe they will be there waiting for us, and the joy of the reunion will be awesome to behold.
When the time comes for your pets, and you'd like them to be home at the end, Karen Henry can provide this service in a kind and caring manner. I highly recommend her. I believe she would also be excellent for all the other vet services needed by your pet dogs and cats, from time to time.
Karen does not accept credit cards, so cash or check payment is required at the time of the service.

ABuckeye Mobile Veterinary ServicesAs a breeder of Miniature Schnauzers, it is very important to me to have a great relationship with a great vet with reasonable prices and Dr. Henry fits that description to a "T". I always have my puppies vet checked and vaccinated at 6 weeks and hated the idea of having to take young, un-vaccinated puppies into a public vets office where, more than likely, there has been a sick dog. So, the option of having the vet come right to me was perfect. Plus, when you have 7 adult terriers who need their annual checkups and rabies, it is difficult to get them all in to see a vet in an office in a convenient timely manner, not to mention packing them all up in the vehicle and getting them there. She and her assistant have a great rapport with the animals and since the dogs are all still in their home environment it keeps the stress level down for everyone involved. I've used her for several years and will continue to do so for as long as I have small pets.- Josh R.

AGranville Veterinary ClinicI decided to try Granville Veterinary Clinic based on a reference from my sister in law who works in the pet care field. All of the staff (Vet-tech/Assistant and Receptionists) in both cases were extremely knowledgable and professional, I actually thought that the first tech that came in to ask some questions was the vet. I cannot remember the name of the Vet that looked at our cat the first time, but she was great. For the follow-up exam we had Dr. Joanna Reen who was also very nice. They both were genuinely concerned with my pets well being, and his comfort level, as well as being realistic and understanding that this is stressing out the owners as well. They were both super patient with my wife and I's million questions. I really enjoyed my experience so far and will definitely be returning as well as referring them to my friends and family.

ASlate Run KennelsOur 2 Golden Retrievers have stayed here many times. This is the only kennel that our dogs go into willingly. They have stayed here for just long weekends or up to a week at a time. Jennifer plays with the dogs and is very loving to them. We are always VERY pleased with Slate Run Kennels and definitely our first choice when we need one.- THOMAS H.

AEast Hilliard Veterinary ServicesMy dog had broken one of his big upper canine teeth (fang). Also, another tooth was chipped. The canine tooth is one of the biggest ones, and the root is large and runs deep into the jaw. Since the break did not reach the base of the tooth, I wanted to preserve it. My vet only does extractions. So, she gave me a referral to Dr. Tom Klein, who practices pet dentistry.
Dr. Tom performed root canal on the broken canine tooth. He smoothed the edges of that tooth and of the chipped tooth next to it.
Since Dr. Tom would have my pet under anesthesia to fix the teeth, I also asked him to remove 2 cysts on my dog. The main cyst was a large one on my dog's forehead next to his eye. He kept scratching it and causing infections.
The surgery went well, and the fur on his forehead has grown back nicely. The repaired teeth look good. Fortunately, I carried pet insurance and was reimbursed for most of the cost.
Dr. Tom and staff were very nice and professional. I could tell that they like pets. The offices were clean and tidy.- C J C.
