Very knowledgable, helpful, sick kids are always seen immediately. Evening and weekend appointments are available.

Our last appointment was for an ear infection. I was able to call in the morning and be seen in the afternoon. I saw one of the team of doctors in the office (we've seen most of them and honestly don't have a preference - they are all that good!).

All went very well. Now both boys received the first round of the Guardasil vaccine, and, I have to say, the nurse made it sound worse than it was. My eldest did fine, saying it wasn't much worse than a flu shot. But the other son was so freaked out by the time he got his shot that he couldn't relax his muscles and his shot REALLY hurt, evidently. I wish the nurses hadn't warned them about how other kids have and quot;faintedand quot; or have had to lie down or whatever. They've never done that with any other vaccine, and I almost feel like it was unnecessary this time. That would be my only complaint - that the nurse freaked out my 15-year-old before his Guardasil vaccine.

We have been taking our two boys (13 and 11) to see Dr. Thomas since 2003 and absolutely love him. We have seen other doctors in the practice when he was off but try to schedule appointments to see him. We began to use him when we lived in Huber Heights but shortly after moved to Kettering which meant it was a 30-45 minute drive to see him. Worth ever minute! Fortunately, he began seeing patients in Kettering one day a week a couple of years ago. He has a son close to our boys age and always gives advise as to what he would do if it were his son. We hold that in very high regard! Until he kicks us out or our boys ask to go somewhere else, he will be our pediatrician. A short story that I love to tell about him that shows he gets to know his patients. Four or five years ago, we were at a home improvement store and ran into him and his wife. He quickly introduced his wife, first to our boys whom he remembered their names and then to my wife and I as Mr and Mrs (last name). I don't believe that there are too many doctors out there that remember their patients by their first names when he only sees them during well visits and when they are truly sick.

They usually run on time. Fairly easy to get sick doctor appointments, easier for kids than adults, but I have three kids so that's what's most important to me. I can usually get my kids in same day. All of their stuff is computerized and they have multiple providers there, so the kids, their pediatrician is there, their allergist is there, their ENT is there, and I don't have to fill all of them in on what the other one is doing, they just all know because it is all shared in the records. They also have an onsite pharmacy, so your prescriptions are sent digitally to the pharmacy and they are usually ready by the time you get downstairs to head out.

The doctor is fantastic. He is no fluff. He really breaks it down for you and tells you exactly how it is and he puts any of your fears or worries at ease.

An appointment was available within a couple hours so we took it. We were called before having a chance to finish all the paperwork. Nurse took the vitals and basic info and the doc was in a few minutes later. A strep test was done minutes after the doc ordering the test and results back 5 minutes after that. We were out the door with our next appointment scheduled an a prescription waiting for us about 10 minutes later. Total time there was about an hour. That works well for our schedule.

Kardan is an amazing doctor. The staff members can be very rude and do not want to answer questions or act like your stupid for asking questions. My son loves Dr. Kardan other wise I would have found a new practice by now just because of the service at the reception office. Scheduling appointments stink because they are so busy that it could take a month to get in if its not a sick appointment. They always get my son in right away if he is sick though. I went there when I was a child and I seen Doctor Sorauf. I have grown up there and my son will grow up there too. The Doctors never made me wait very long usually 10-15 Minutes in the room. They seem to really care about my son and take good care of him. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I have taking him to her for 1 year.  She coordinates all the doctors together for my son and all the treatments and services he needs.  She is very friendly and personable.  She talks to you.  I have taken my son to her for around a year.
