Great! Friendly and professional, work was done in a timely manner and done well. No problems since! We have used 2 other roofing companies, and this is by far our favorite. Will definitely use them again!

    Michael's
Michael Bellak first assessed what had to be done and gave me a quote of $825.  He proceeded to spend two separate days {about 12 hours] completing the job.  While working on the project, he did encounter some problems; however, he never said if there would be any additional costs.  After one week passed, I finally got an official bill in the mail.  In it was an additional cost of $265.  Up to this time, all discussions had been verbally transmitted in a face-to-face discussion.  Naturally, upon seeing the extra cost, I left a message with Mr. Bellak to have him call me and explain the costs.  This is when our relationship radically changed.

When Mr. Bellak returned my call, he was initially sarcastic.  This soon changed to out-right hostility.  I never had a worker yell, scream, and humiliate me like this in my life.  Several of the phrases Mr. Bellak used were: I was stupid; I was completely ignorant; I was a worthless human being; My house was a piece of sh-- to name just a few.  And this was all because I simply asked him to explain the extra $265.

I then sent Mr. Bellak a letter basically apologizing to him with a check for the original $825.  I told him the rest would follow as long as we could sit down and calmly discuss the matter.  Once again, some time passed.  I heard nothing from him, until I finally got a letter that contained a mechanic?s lien on my house and an additional bill for $50.  Since he refused to talk to me, I had to use a mutual friend, Vince DeSalvo, as a go between.  We were able to agree on the original $265, with no mechanic?s lien to be filed.  This I thought was the end of my nightmare.

Then we finally had some rain.  The gutters seemed to be working fine, until I noticed something.  The water was actually going in-between the deck and the gutter.  I had our mutual friend, Vince DeSalvo, look over the situation.  He concluded that there obviously was a problem with the installation, and it needed to be fixed.  So, I called Mr. Bellak and actually got him on the phone.  Once again, after I explained the problem, Mr. Bellak went on his usual screaming and demeaning talk.  He refused to do anything because as he said, ?I completed the job.?

So now after spending some 30% extra on the gutters, I have gutters that do not work properly and a contractor who refuses to back up his work.  I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to no avail.  I am now filing this incident with you.

    Weather Armor
Matt Reeder came and explained the different options for retractable awnings. He helped us to pick out the color that would go best with our home. He gave us his estimate and we decided to accept it. The awning was $3258 and the Gutter Glove was $800. Two hundred dollars of the cost of the awning went towards a wind sensor. If I forget and leave the awning extended while I am not on the deck, this sensor will automatically close the awning if the wind gets too strong. This is important because wind can damage the arms of the awning. Three weeks later 2 men came and put on the 12' by 10' Sunsetter Motorized Awning as well as the Gutter Glove. It only took them about 3 hours. They cleaned up the area before leaving and showed me how to operate the awning. I love this awning. I am sitting under it now. It is dark enough for me to see my IPad while in its shade! (we got the black fabric called Blackberry). In the past I could not enjoy the deck when it was sunny. The current temperature is in the upper 70s and I am very comfortable. I had considered putting in a screened in porch on the deck, but that would have made the dining room dark during the winter. With this awning I have the best of both worlds, shade when it is hot and sun during the winter. I am very happy with the Sunsetter Awning and with the work done by Weather Armor.

    Construction and Remodeling Experts
This was a home improvement project that was started in 2009 by a company located in Macedonia.  They took my payments, filed bankruptcy, and left me with a bare structure full of defective workmanship.
I am glad I found Mr. Deel (Construction and Remodeling Experts, LLC) to complete this project.
With my budget already short and with the mounting costs of fighting through legal actions, I am glad I was able to complete the project in stages with them which very few are willing to do and deal with the defective workmanship left behind by the previous contractor. This would not have been possible if not for the understanding, flexibility and cooperation of Mr. Deel.

I was very satisfied with their workmanship, and most important of all, I had peace of mind during the time they worked to complete
the project.  To me, they were God sent angels.

    Newman Tony Roofing
Everything turned out great, we ran into some raining weather but they used tarps to prevent any damage. When they were done with the clean up because we all know the mess a roofing job can produce, it was awesome.  I use a riding lawn mower to cut my grass and not even a nail in the tires after they were done. Tony also went through the time to explain the different types of roofing shingle that are available. Most of all my wife was happy and when she is happy the world is a better place.  I highly recommend Tony Newman's Roofing Company

    Handyman Connection - Akron
The handyman who came out to make repairs refused to install gutters with leaf guards. He brought the wrong gutters and only enough for one side of the project. When I talked to him about what I wanted and asked why he didn't follow my instruction, he told me I never asked for leaf guard gutters. In the end, another handyman from the company had to come out to do the work for me. Then, the first guy wanted me to call him on the side for work and left his cellphone number on a card. I told the company about this, and they didn't believe me.

    Rain-A-Way Exteriors Inc
Installation was done efficiently. Had to call twice to have them deal with water flowing over the top of the gutter topper. This was occurring because the upper level gutter empties onto the lower roof, and the flow from that was too much for the gutter top to handle. They had to experiment with this twice, adding diverters to the top of the roof below the upper gutter between it and the lower gutter. This eventually solved the problem. They also had to come back and re-fix a leak in the back gutter. We still have a slight leak back there and some occasional overflow drips in the front. Overall I am OK with the solution but not impressed with the knowledge of this company. I expected them to be able to solve this problem the first time. They seemed baffled by it and that seemed to me like lack of experience with handling this situation.

They did a fine job. They were some what more expensive than the other quotes we got, but that is not what we based our decision on. I did not feel like it was to high though.
