Dominic did a fantastic job communicating the steps with us and coordinating so we could do some phases of the work ourselves to cut down costs, even going so far as to provide advice on the work we were doing. He and his guys always cleaned up the work area and took great care in what they were doing.

Mark did a fantastic job listening to our ideas. He really helped us create a vision for our basement and knew almost every topic we discussed (drywall, plumbing, flooring, etc). We definitely recommend this company for any home improvement

I would definitely hire this company anytime I need something done. They did everything I asked and more. They were fast and very respectful and helpful. I gave them a set price and was not charged more than what i told them i could spend. They even added extra electrical outlets downstairs for my daughter's room ( something i wouldn't of even thought about doing till it was too late ).. All the workers are super friendly and even went out of their way to help me. Their work looks great and it's exactly what I wanted done.

Gus came and quoted a few jobs back in September 2020. He wasn't the cheapest and he was very pleasant and reponsive on the quotes. He also was very professional during that time. Gus delayed the project twice prior to starting saying that another job was taking longer than expected. After Gus started in mid-October he was here by 9am every day starting out. Following that he would show up later and later and later and although slow progress was being made he never really showed any motivation to complete the work. As the project went on I paid all invoices within a day and was punctual with any questions that he had. Gus finished some of the bathrooms but there were still some major punchlist items needing fixed. He did not caulk appropriately around the tub and wainscoting. The plumbing work and drywall were both shoddy and needed repaired. I asked for items to be fixed and it was never done. Eventually after having to ask for Gus to fix the bad work he just stopped showing up. I continued to ask for a schedule of return to work for 2 weeks. After which, Gus did the same thing as the other reviewer and sent a cease and desist letter and an invoice for an additional $3500 for work that he said was done (it wasn't) and work he said was agreed to (it wasn't). On top of that I had already paid him over $17K in deposits for the work which he never completed nor started. All in all he was trying to scam me for over $20K. Luckily I paid with a credit card and was able to get reimbursed. Now I am stuck with a total of $6000 to repair the work he already completed, this repair cost us more than his original work. I would not recommend.

It went well overall. Bob and crew were very professional. The project timeline was a little longer than expected because of inspection timeframes, special ordering of doors and hardware, etc... - and it was our first time for a project this large.

The process was great from start to finish, we had Ben and his team to our house for about 6 weeks pretty much every day. Ben clearly knows what he is doing, not only with the actual construction but w design work as well. He was able to help us walk through our plan and make some tweaks that enhanced our space! He is also great with vision, taking an idea and running with it to make it real. Taking a Pinterest idea and working it to our space. I can't say enough great things about him and his team. He put basically a full kitchen in the basement as well as a half bathroom. His drywall guy is fantastic and my family was sad to see his team leave after the time we spent with them. Their work is truly top notch, we are a Real Estate Team and have seen contractors for years and I would use Ben over and over again! He will be doing a sunroom addition next year for us!

Wheeler electric responded as quickly as could have possibly been expected. I bought the Wheeler deal of $69.00 for troubleshooting and an hour of technician service.  I made the online purchase in mid-morning, after which to my surprise within several minutes I had an email from Wheeler electric asking for more details on my situation.  When I input my discrepancy of how a GFCI along my garage wall would not reset and was having an effect on other electrical outages within my home they offered to come out that very same day.  Their technician "Jason" arrived promptly at time they said he would, he assessed the situation I had an immediately started his troubleshooting breaking it down into sections where he was checking power, after he was done he identified a fault in my outdoor lamp post light.  I was impressed with his technical knowledge and how he went right to work once I explained all the outages I was experiencing.  I did not have a lamp post light on had for him to replace the bad light with but he removed the bad one and explained to me the installation process and I was able to replace it myself later that evening after I got to store to make a purchase of new one.  Since I had time remaining on the time allowed for the Angie's list deal Jason installed an outdoor light timer for me that I had on hand so my front outdoor lights work on an indoor timer now, which is very convenient for myself.  When I showed Jason around the house and all that was being effected by the GFCI not resetting he pointed out to me an area in our unfinished basement that should not be wired into that particular electrical load.  He gave me a price quote to install new electrical outlet and line for me of which was same as deal price per hour plus materials.  I agreed and he completed running new electrical line and outlet for me.  Three weeks now and no issues from the work performed.  Jason was very professional and showed his expertise in his knowledge and abilities.  Very good representation of Wheeler Electric company.  Highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done.

Answered my email inquiry quickly; showed up as promised; worked to minimize mess, cleaned up after themselves and were done in less than 3 hours. Price was a tad bit higher than initially estimated because of the added work performed. This is a old home which they understood well.
