Charter Oaks Tree & Landscaping Co Inc
They arrived at the time agreed and went to work. I had forgotten one bush that needed to be trimmed and they kindly agreed to add it to the work at a small extra cost. They missed a couple of branches that were going into our neighbors property but sent the crew back as soon as that was brought to their attention. The following day we found some branches on a cherry tree infested with some type of worm nests or webs, which they missed as well, but we just went ahead and trimmed them ourselves. Other than that they were thorough.

Charter Oaks Tree & Landscaping Co Inc
I recently called Charter Oaks to request an estimate to have DEAD trees removed and stumps ground out in my BACK yard. I was not home when they came out to do the estimate. I received a hand-written document describing the work and the cost, to which I gave a verbal go-ahead. A utility-locating service then came out and marked utility lines in the BACK yard with red flags. A few days later, I looked out the window to discover Charter Oaks was in my SIDE yard (a neighborhood tree lawn, one with no red flags) cutting down four of my LIVE, beautiful, healthy, 20-year-old maple trees in an area nowhere near the dead trees we had discussed. These trees were flanking the entrance to an entire neighborhood in New Albany and as any reputable tree service in this area knows, are not to be altered. No one ever came to my door to let me know they were at my home (at 8 a.m.) to cut down the trees, nor did I have any advance notice they were coming so I had no opportunity to meet anyone before the actual work began. When I called Charter Oaks to let them know what happened, I was told they were very sorry and would do everything they could to make things right. Following that, I spent 10 days calling, emailing, and texting them to determine next steps. I received one email from them that said they would not charge me for the work on the original contract and that they would come back and do it as planned. After that, they would not return my calls, emails, or texts, nor would they meet with me in spite of repeated requests to determine a mutually agreeable solution. When I finally did speak with them, I was told that I would need to pay for them to come out and do the work that they had previously offered to do for free. They denied having made such an offer, even though I had it in writing, and refused to repair the damage they caused. As another reviewer has said, they lacked any commitment to follow through and customer service, and behaved in a pathological manner, refusing to speak with me or take any responsibility for the situation whatsoever. Under no circumstance would I ever allow them near my property for any type of tree service again.

The Davey Tree Expert Company- Columbus & W Columbus
The Davey representative looked at the tree and quoted a price. He said they could get to the job in the next few days. I left my house for an hour and I returned to find Davey staff pruning my tree. What a wonderful surprise! They said they were in the area and were told I had requested ASAP service... wow, was this ASAP. I was able to get my spring clean-up and mulching completed the following weekend.

    The Grounds Guys of Westerville
Regardless of signing up for the works what I received was weekly mowing at a very high price considering I didn't receive anything else. I sent multiple texts and emails with photos of the weeds I had to pull myself every two weeks with no timely reply. Once I got a reply I was told it was handled. It never was. I routinely had to pull the weeds on my own. Then I had canceled TrueGreen for monthly fertilizing to use The Grounds Guys to have my grass in the worst condition ever. I called back to cancel that part of the service to hire TrueGreen back. In 1 treatment with TrueGreen my lawn started to come back to life. Then when I finally grew tired of having to chase this company for all the services I tried to cancel service they tried to bully me and tell me I could cancel but owed them for the 10 month "contract" to be paid in full for services not rendered. This is actually unethical and untrue. There is no binding contract for future services not rendered in the state of Ohio. So, don't let them try to persuade you into a package, not provide the service and then threaten you to pay for future services. Finally, after I pushed back against their threats to pay them for 10 months of service which I received 3 lackluster headache filled months they literally sent a cease and desist letter saying I was harassing them and that I cannot bad mouth their business when in reality I was just asking them to service what they promised. The last I checked this is 2017 and it is not against the law to post a review for poor service. This is definitely not a customer service oriented company. I am posting this not to bad mouth their business or be negative but to warn you if you are considering using them I wanted you to know my experience. I have attached photos of the weeds I had to pull on my own not just 1x but 3x (mind you it was part of the so called master service agreement). Some people may have good experience with this company as I said I had high hopes great marketing materials, nice trucks, appear to have good image and pricing but what I received was nothing like they advertised.

    Grants Tree Service
Paul, Josh and their crew did a great job. They arrived on time, completed the work I had requested, and cleaned up nicely. They were very professional throughout the entire process. For the amount of work required, I got great value for what I paid. I highly recommend them if you need some tree work done.

    Stumps of Time Removal Service
It is always a pleasure to watch experts at work. Dan Iden and his crew made removing the trees look easy. I have taken down enough trees myself to know that none of the trees would have been easy for me, and a couple would have crossed the line into being dangerous. Plus, Dan and his crew had all the trees down and cleaned up in under 3 hours. Even if I had been able to get the trees down myself, the cleanup would have kept me busy on weekends for a month. Dan's prices were in line with estimates from other companies. He and his crew were prompt, hardworking, and polite. I consider it money well spent and will definitely call Stumps of Time again if I need another tree removed.

    Trees Are My Business
Anthony and crew are knowledgeable, skilled, careful, fast, clean up completely, and remove roots. They have the right equipment and tools to do the job right. I've used them several times, they do great work at a reasonable price and I'll use them again in the spring.

    A To Z Tree Experts
They were wonderful!! We talked through what I wanted done before they started then throughout the day they would check in to make sure I liked what they had done. They completely cleaned up afterward. Our yard was an overgrown forest and now you can see the house and everything looks beautiful! It was their three guys for 18 hours package. Well worth every penny!!

    Jobie's -- JTS Tree & Landscape, LLC
After calling their office asking for their arborist to visit, he arrived promptly the following day. Their company had removed our dying pine trees last year and replaced them with healthy ones. I had noticed the beginning of some tree damage when I called for help. Jobie arrived the following morning and diagnosed the problem quickly. The next morning they returned to thoroughly spray the trees. Hopefully, the problem has been solved. I always appreciate their quick response time and reasonable prices.

    Trees Are My Business
Anthony arrived with his crew of about 8 men and plenty of equipment.  He has a Bobcat- like piece of equipment that he stands on the back of.  This equipment is very powerful and has a claw and pulled out some very large shrubs roots and all.  He removed the shrubs all around our home and sunroom as well as five 12 ft tall arborvitae that were falling over.
He and his crew also pruned four large trees on our property.  His crew actually crawled up in the trees to cut out limbs.  They look so much better now!
While all this was going on, his crew was cleaning up the old shrubs and placing them in a truck for removal.  They actually had an arm on the truck to lift the heavy shrubs into the truck.  They raked all the beds and swept the dirt off the sidewalk.
Another contractor we spoke to said he would cut the shrubs off and then use a stump grinder.  We didn't think we wanted a stump grinder so close to our house and doubted that it would efficiently remove all the roots.
With Andrew orchestrating it all, his crew worked well together and they were very efficient.  It was really something to watch. Some of our neighbors turned out to watch the process.
When it came to planting the beds a few days later, the soil was loose with shrubs being pulled out by the roots.
    Great job!   Very professional company.
