Landscape Lighting reviews in New Albany

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Excellent, Andrew and the rest of the crew did a wonderful job. They were clean and polite, they even fixed some of my underground irrigation lines that were not glued from my home builder. They also dug out a couple new mulch beds. Kenny and Liz were always available if I had any questions. The whole neighborhood has complimented our new outdoor living space! We couldn't be happier.

  • Started good, finished bad. They left the job site for 5 days without communicating. Left a pile of mulch in my driveway during this dead time, so I could only get one car out of my garage. They also left all of the patio furniture, grill, trash cans, etc. in the yard while working and gone. Killed the grass and got mud on everything since it rained. Killed some of our plants while working on the patio. Charged full price for lighting even though they didn't fix or lay new in the back (like they said they would). Unhooked old back yard lighting and never fixed (half was working before job). At the end, they didn't put anything back in it's place on patio... we had to move all patio stuff back.

  • Jake Livingston came out and gave us a quote. He sat down and explained all of the options available including potential upgrades, but I never felt like he was pushing thing. He answered all of our questions and came out three times prior to the start of the job. When the crew came to start working they were great. They were highly professional, did a great job, cleaned up after it was over. They were also a lot of fun. Good sense of humor and great with our dog (who had to be let out in the yard periodically to go the the bathroom).

  • Mike did a great job coming up with ideas after I provided a summary of what I was looking to do. He was willing to salvage some old lights that were previously installed which ended up saving me money. Mike did a great job staying in contact throughout the process and was very punctual. My new lighting looks great and I may decide to add additional lighting in the future.

  • The price was good, but the service and follow up was horrible.  We waited months to get any kind of follow up done, esp when 5 trees died and were to be replaced under warranty. They were replaced, but we had email repeatedly, call repeatedly, just to get  a potential date for the replacement. And then on numerous occasions, they would not show up.

In the end we just wanted them to make good on more dead trees, they will tell you they lived up to their one year warranty which is true to the letter of the warranty, but any company or individual who would want repeat business would try a bit harder, considering the 2 year duration of this small project, the number of dead trees, and the repeated over-promise and under-deliver of the work.

Bottom line, the lack of response and the lack of effort on their part certainly let us know they could care less about our business.

I would NOT recommend Wilson l for ANY work.

  • Mike Imondi is a true professional.
.His proposal was detailed and clear in what I could expect. He even included pictures of the different lights he would use. He sent a proposal to my homeowners association, and handled the approval process with them
He was always easy to reach if I had a question. His evening demonstration, before burying the wiring gave us the opportunity to tweak the plan just a bit. Installation was a breeze?.
    The warranty is great!
You can't go wrong with Mike.
He's take all the challenges out of this process.

  • Mike came out as scheduled, and quickly diagnosed the problem without issue.  The system was put in by another company, but he was able to figure out the problem and come up with a solution that wasn't the quick fix that the other company was doing.  He also showed us how to use the system installed by the previous owner and even gave us some ideas for the rest of the yard, which was nice.

  • They bent over backwards helping us get the permits and variances to get the project going, and did quite a bit of design, including 2D and 3D views of the layout before we even signed a contract. They were upfront about costs and even when errors were made, they readily admitted them and fixed them without cost to us. The workmanship was excellent, and their communication was great - they were always proactive and kept us up to date with project happenings and schedule changes (weather, etc). They walked the project with us on multiple occasions, and we worked as a team to ensure that the patio, kitchen, pool surround, lighting, screening trees, and fire pit were all what we wanted and had in mind.
They also did several other small projects for us for free, including removing several trees adjacent to the patio/kitchen area, delivery and setup of the wood-fired oven and grills, moving several large landscape stones, etc. We would highly recommend their services. Our neighborhood has been impressed enough that they have already signed on with several nearby homeowners for other designs and projects.

  • Danny and Josh took pride in the work they did from start to finish. Our back patio was utterly useless when we moved in- uneven flagstone strewn over a mound of dirt pushed up to the back of the house with grass and a koi pond. The lighting was terrible, the stairs were ugly, and the bushes were overgrown. We planned the renovation for over a year, getting up our nerve, working out the details and getting local approvals. Danny was incredibly patient with us, since we came to the edge several times before jumping. Selection of materials was done without pressure, but with helpful advice. Danny doesn't sell you more than you need. We worked with Danny and Josh over several meetings to bring us closer to our budget, which they bent over backwards to meet. When plans neared completion, they both went before our community's review committee to help answer questions. They were instrumental in achieving approval to move forward. Once approval was obtained, and the weather cooperated, Brandon, Tom, Craig and Danny were here for almost three weeks moving earth, leveling for drainage, constructing steps, placing paver and 1 ton stones, placing plantings, wiring lights and cleaning up. Access to our back yard isn't easy, and scheduling was critical in the success of the project. You could tell as these guys admired their work that they take pride in their creations. And I could tell right away they were working on art. Danny was careful to allow my input along the way. My concerns were met with carefully crafted explanations, and most of the time it was evident that I need to stick to what I do, and let him do the thinking on the project. He really knows his stuff. I can't find words to express our satisfaction with the finished work. In The Yard created an outdoor living space of more use than I could possibly have imagined. The quality of work is beyond expectations, and this company is one-of-a-kind.
