    Aetna Inc
We have used Aetna for the last few months and are satisfied with the coverage we have and service.  We are all healthy and for the recent exception of a broken nose we haven't needed specialist care/xray etc.  We had no issues with being seen by whomever we selected but I also haven't received the bills from those services to comment...

    United Health Care
We have a one-year-old, so we are at the doctor every few months for well visits.  We also have a 12-year-old who gets an annual physical.  We've had no issues with claims or coverage.  All the basics are covered and there are no co-pays for well visits or annual physicals - only if there are any follow ups.  I called them once about coverage and didn't have to wait long at all on the phone.  They've been very easy to deal with so far.

    United Health Care
We usually have no problems with UHC. The only issue I have had is with a relatively new blood test that I was told over the phone would be covered, and which was not covered. The test was pretty expensive and we are currently challenging the billing.

    Westar Urgent Care
I've been to Westar Urgent Care and had a piece of glass taken out of my foot. They are the fastest urgent care in the district. I feel like we get in and out right away. We've been to other ones where you sit around and wait an hour to see somebody. Most of the time we are in there and we see someone within 15 minutes. They are real quick, they take care of you and you are out. Whoever manages that is more concerned about customer experience than some of the other ones. We go over there if we can't get in to see our Doctor. The price is covered by our insurance. The environment is clean, it is nothing special, but that isn't what we go there for. They are always helpful about giving you as much information as they can.

    New Albany Surgical Hospital
The most recent surgery, in April 2012, was more complicated, but the staff was quite helpful and efficient. I actually went into the operating room earlier than my scheduled time. From the check-in at the reception desk to the nurses helping into my wife's car, the experience was smooth and efficient. The staff's care seemed genuine. I can't say that any experience at a hospital is pleasant, but this facility is designed to look more like a hotel than a hospital, which helps make things as pleasant as possible. The staff was clearly experienced and very attentive, from the clerical staff to the nurses to the anesthesiologist.

    Kroger Pharmacy
I like the convenience of being able to go to the grocery store and pick up your prescription at the same time. They offer automatic re-fills for you, so you don't have to remember to call in. They will automatically call you and tell you that your prescription has been filled, and is ready for pick up.

MT CARMEL NEW ALBANY SURGICAL HOSPITAL
Phenomenal! This is 3rd time we have used this hospital and I won't consider using ANY OTHER! This hospital was originally started by a team of doctors who wanted the HIGHEST Quality of care for their patients! They have achieved that! From the minute you walk in the front door you are treated like Royalty! My husband has had a knee replacement and then outpatient shoulder surgery. I have had outpatient carpel tunnel surgery. We LOVE this place (and the food is good, too)!

MT CARMEL NEW ALBANY SURGICAL HOSPITAL
He has a wonderful bedside manner. All of the employees I encountered were over and above by 1,000%. You'd feel like your mother was holding your hand. Ten days after the surgery, I am up walking without a cane or walker, and this is due to their expertise.

MT CARMEL NEW ALBANY SURGICAL HOSPITAL
I have had a rotator cuff tear on my right shoulder and I was pretty sure I was having the same problem with my left. I had a friend recommend that I see Dr. Rosenberg. I made and appointment with him. It was a lot closer but I could not find a parking place. I went in for my appointment and was told that Dr. Rosenberg was not in and that I would have to see another doctor. So I rescheduled for the following week so I could see Dr. Rosenberg. When I saw him he did x-rays and ordered an MRI for later that day. They set up an appointment for two weeks later so I could get the results. When I went in for the results, he told me that I did not have a rotator cuff tear so I did not need surgery but I did have a lot of inflammation. I questioned him further about the condition of the bones in my shoulder and he tried to bring my info up on the computer and realized that it was not my information on the screen. He questioned the nurse about the location of my info and it came to light that it was still over at the surgical hospital and he had not even seen it yet. He asked me to wait while the info was sent over and he left. The nurse came in and I asked her for copies of the info to take with me and she was pleasant about it and gave me a copy of the written report. While I was waiting, I read the report and it clearly stated that I did have a rotator cuff tear. I realized that not only had he not looked at the MRI results but he had not read the written report very well either. When he came back in the room he told me to forget everything he had told me before and verified that I did have a rotator cuff tear and that I would need surgery. I had made up my mind by then to go to the surgeon who did my right shoulder two years ago. I left with my info and went home to make an appointment with him. My insurance covered the cost.

FANTASTIC! AWESOME! This is the BEST Hospital we've ever seen! From the moment you enter the hospital until you are discharged you are treated with the HIGHEST PATIENT CARE! EVERY SINGLE employee is focused on you having a Great Experience! Family is allowed in the pre-op area; we spoke with the Anesthesiologist and the Nurse Anesthetist, both, before the surgery; all rooms are PRIVATE and include an over-sized chair in case visitors want to spend the night; all food service is at YOUR REQUEST; patient visitor food trays are only $6 and they will specially make your request; patient care is like none we've ever seen (nurses are at your side before you even know you need anything); you have a choice in pain medication; (pain is minimized by their 'pre-planning', giving Celebrex BEFORE surgery). We were just OVERWHELMED on how well we were treated with, both, our outpatient and inpatient experiences! Incredibly my husband was HOME 30 hours after his knee replacement surgery! If you have a choice in Orthopedic hospitals, choose Mt. Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital! You will be treated like ROYALTY!
