    614 Design and Remodel
Having Mike Baker, owner of 614 Design and Remodel, update our bathroom was a great experience! Mike met with us initially to go over our thoughts of how we wanted to change our master bathroom. Mike followed up in person with a quote, an estimated start date and list of store recommendations for us to buy all the materials we needed to get prior to the start date. Mike was timely, efficient, perfectionist, clean, and trustworthy. Mike showed up everyday at the same time to get to work. He would complete the daily jobs efficiently and clean up daily. He was organized with his tools but also in the process of completing the job. He was a perfectionist where he would go above and beyond to make the bathroom the best. He sampled 3 different grouts to see which one looked the best. He would have ideas that would make it look better and explain them to me first. He went an hour away to order special barn doors for us. He took apart the pebble mosaic tile to lay in the floor of the shower so it wouldnt have a lined division. It was the little things that made it better. He would clean up the work space everyday, which was nice. And most importantly he was very trustworthy to have around. In addition to the bathroom he also painted our master bedroom, closet and laundry room to coordinate with the bathroom and tile floor was installed in the closet, bathroom and laundry room to make it fluent. I would highly recommend Mike Baker, owner and operator, of 614 Design and Remodel, for bathroom renovations and remodeling.

The Grout Medic - West Columbus
Great. The estimate appointment was on-time and thorough. The pre-service instructions were also clear and thorough (very helpful). The estimate (and final invoice) were clear and itemized. At the repair appointment the servicemen were courteous and thorough. And they have a 1 year warranty on their work to boot. Exactly as I hoped this type of service would be performed, and I have recommended them to other people now.

    The Grout Doctor
Very professional and friendly. Provided quote at time of the estimate on professional quote form. Estimator was dressed properly with Grout Doctor shirt so I knew he was legitimate and had standards. Our housekeeper was thrilled to see how nice it looked!

Francisco Tile Design & Floors LLC
The work was very sloppy, from the poorly-done shower floors to missing grout in several places. It was very clear that he and his crew were only interested in getting out and getting to the next job.

Great! Chad did a wonderful job with the flooring. He brought samples to the house to color match. Installed all the flooring in a timely manner, working with my schedule. The floors look fantastic. We could not be happier with the complete project.

Very pleased with he work Matt did. He transformed our sunroom into an actual room by removing the vinyl siding and replacing with drywall and adding trim board to match the rest of the house. What an improvement! The wood look flooring is a vast improvement too. I think installing tile and grouting is an art and I am very pleased with the job Matt did. Matt is also neat about his work space keeping it all organized and tidy especially when he leaves at the end of the day and then cleaning up when the project is finished.

    Downey Clean Carpet Cleaning
I will never ever call them again. I had grout cleaned probably about three weeks ago. They cleaned my grout fine. I had them scheduled the next week to come and clean an area rug. They were going to pick it up and take it. They were coming the following week and I was going to have them clean my carpeting and my upholstery. I called three times to confirm because I was having guests and the timing was very tight because I wanted everything done before my guests arrived. Three times I called to confirm and I'm waiting here and they never came and picked up the rug. I called them and their response was, "Oh, we missed you." Nothing was said about, "When could we come out and pick it up at your convenience," nothing was said about, "how can we make this better for you?" All I got was, "Sorry, I forgot to schedule you." I never heard from the company except for one poor woman who wrote me to apologize. She did mention that they were pointing fingers at each other. No management ever called me to apologize. I canceled all further cleaning and I would never recommend them, nor would I use them again. I've had Downey Clean out here before. I'm a huge user of Angie's List. I feel like if someone is on Angie's List and they're graded well, they have proven themselves. I think probably that is just a mistake on my part. So I had purchased a big deal for my grout. I've had my grout and tile cleaned before and it was by somebody else previously. The guy did an okay job. I probably would never have them come back out and do my tile and grout. I made that decision before I went ahead and made the other scheduling. He showed up when he said he would show up, he did an okay job. But, it wasn't as good of a job as I had someone do a couple of years ago. But I would not have called and made a fuss about that because it was a lot better, he did a nice job, he was okay. I wouldn't go to make a fuss about that or ding them on that or do anything about that. But they never showed up after three times of getting everything in line because it was so important for me to have everything done. I was having guests and I wanted my rugs picked up and taken somewhere to be cleaned. Things happen, but when people do not take responsibility, when people aren't customer service driven, when people do not care that you're inconvenienced or when it's just, "sorry," then that is not acceptable to me. There is too many other businesses to use. I would just never ever recommend them or use them again.

Smith & Rogers Flooring - Dan Rogers
They did a fantastic job. They were conscious of the marble pieces didn't like as well and used those in less conspicuous places. We had a decorative herringbone accent that looks amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with the result! I would definitely recommend them and use the next time we need tiling.

    Shadwick Remodeling LLC
Unbelievable. The first contractor we contacted for the job came totally unprepared,, took few notes and his estimate was REALLY high. We were referred to Shadwick through The Tile Shop manager, Jennifer. Robert came with a folder with all of his permits, references, pictures of jobs he had done and his list of all the types of remodeling he does. We were SO impressed.  We asked him to do all of our projects. He and his crew of Matt and Jordan worked methodically and did an outstanding job. They offered ideas for the fire place and helped us select the perfect stack stone. The mantle they built is the center of our home, now. We LOVE it. We will be telling everyone of their work and work ethic.  Their price for the back splash work was 1/2 of the other contractor. An excellent professional contractor.

    Really Clean LLC
Adrian was very professional and always went out of his way to ensure that we were happy with his team's work.  Adrian was able to work with any features and materials we chose - bathroom vanities, faucets, tile, shower/tub fixtures, tubs, etc. - and went out of his way to pick up any large items or other materials we needed him to.  Our month-long project involved demolition and remodeling of two bathrooms (from tile floors to re-tiled shower to new vanities and tubs to replaced baseboards to making a single sink into a double sink vanity), demolition and re-tiling of our laundry/entry area, and repainting of almost the entire interior of our new home, including ceilings.  Whenever any issues or potential issues arose, Adrian contacted us immediately so he could review options with us and keep things moving along.  On the flip side, throughout the project Adrian was happy to make other adjustments as we requested them, including moving electrical outlets and filing doors down to not scrape our floors.  Adrian and his team were very polite, punctual, responsive, and stayed late or worked weekends when needed to make sure they stayed on track with our project timeline. We are happy with the end result of Adrian's work and the value we received, and would recommend Adrian to friends.

We have now lived in our house with these updates for 3 months, and while I would absolutely recommend Adrian/CTS for their painting services, we have uncovered a few minor annoyances that have left us not 100% happy with the quality of their tiling and plumbing work.  Small spaces and holes in shower grout, exposed grout /tile spacers, spots on sealed floor tile, and cracking floor grout  due to tiling being placed on wood boards (which expand).  No deal breakers, but items we wish had been tended to or thought about in advance a bit more carefully and which may require more frequent maintenance or sooner repairs on our part.
