The work was done 100% to request. They were timely, on budget and overly concerned about how we felt every step of the way. Immediate responses and on the spot problem solving. After the job was completed there was additional follow up and Brian and his team even came back to do touch ups from the counter installation another vendor installed. They were amazing and we will be using them again!

I didnt have hardly any cabinets in my kitchen and only linoleum on the floor. I had to put my food in a bookcase in the dining room. Tony put a lot of cabinets in my kitchen and one floor to ceiling in the laundry room for food and replaced my old metal cabinet above the washer and dryer with matching wood cabinets. My daughter, Julia sells 31 products and had a lot of stock in the dining room so he built floor to celing dark wood cabinets in there and they are beautiful. Now she can store her stuff in them.  I had him redo our old bathroom off the dining room because it was very old. So he built a shower stall and put in a new tub., replaced the old sink with a cabinet sink and added a new medicine cabinet. Replaced the toilet and installed new flooring and a new light fixture in the ceiling and around the medicine cabinet.  It looks very nice now.

My kitchen is small with limited cabinet space.   I had  a free standing cabinet for the can and dry food as there was no space in the existing cabinets.  I wanted a built-in cabinet that would match my existing cabinet and give me maximum kitchen storage.  However my cabinets are over 50 years old and I didn't think that matching would be possible. I had explored multiple options but found nothing commercially that would work.   Darren and Dave came to the house and discussed the options with me.  The took pictures of the existing cabinets, molding, knobs, hinges, etc... They both were upbeat and positive that my cabinet could be built and best of all match my existing cabinets.  Dave spent time asking what I wanted and offering suggestions.    I was able to show him pictures and my sketches.   He returned with a design which we spent time reviewing and revising.  He was open to my suggestions and made suggestions based upon his years of expertise. He explained to me what type of construction material would be used and the process of construction.   During the construction process, I went to the shop and viewed the shell of the cabinet and was able to make suggestions, that Dave incorporated into the design.  The cabinet was built off site and brought to the house for the final construction.  The day of installation was great! I was so pleased with the entire process and attention to the details during the final stage. They matched the existing knobs and hinges.  The cabinet is built to hold heavy canned food with three drawers, storage for pans, a cookie sheet divider section, closed space for storage, and open shelves. The cabinet matches as if it had been here all along. The molding around the top of the ceiling even matches my existing molding which had to be done by hand. I have farm house style white enamel cabinets that some would say aren't stylish or updated.  However, they are well built and suit the kitchen. Darren and Dave totally understood my style and why I like them.   They listened to what I wanted and took the sketches and pictures that I had researched and built my cabinet.  They wanted to be sure that the design fit in the kitchen but even more that it was what I had envisioned.   I am also pleased with the follow up!!  Not many contractors are so eager to check-up after the project is completed.  But Darren has been sure to contact me to ask if any concerns.  I contacted him with a  issue with the drawer slide and he was immediately available.

I was initially excited about the renovations and was initially pleased with quality of work performed by James, who appeared very knowledgeable and skilled with the work he performed. Plumbing and electrical work appeared well executed, with the exception of paying $700.00 to have my electric service upgraded from 100 amp to 200 amp, as I was recently informed by an electrician who I had to hire to install the $20.00 breaker for my pool that the service had not been upgraded to 200 amp service. Mr. Hughes via text, wrote that he planned to charge me $200.00 for that same breaker. I was sincerely displeased with the quality of the drywall repair and overall painting of the ceiling and walls, which was performed by another worker. This worker was very fast and painting appeared haphazard, as he missed areas of the ceiling and walls and did an inadequate job of patching nail holes, etc. This same worker poorly installed wainscotting in the master bedroom and even cut the panels in the bedroom with a power saw, allowing brown saw dust to fly around the freshly painted room, where it soiled bed linens, etc. The poorly executed painting and installed wainscotting was pointed out to Mr. Hughes. Said he would send someone else to fix the wainscotting, which he did several weeks later. The painting was left as is. Understand that this project was initiated in January and was stretched out over a four month period, with sporadic work being performed. At times there was little or no communication with Mr. Hughes, as he failed to respond to telephone calls and/or text messages in a timely manner. Cabinets and countertops took weeks to get, as Mr. Hughes reported that they had to be back ordered. Back splash was never installed and one cabinet is missing a side panel. The paint on existing cabinets is flacking off. To say the least, the process of this "renovation" has altered my perception of trust, honesty, and integrity of those in the home "improvement" business, especially Mr. Hughes. It is my heartfelt belief that I was taken advantage of due to being a single 67 year old retired school teacher who was seen as "vulneralbe." This personal experience has proven to be emotionally and psychologically damaging and my kitchen remains unfinished. It pains me to look at it. Especially since it cost approximately $10,000.00!!!
