    Process of monitoring water penetration from several heavy rains took several months. We provided still photos and video of leaks and water penetrating basement floor. Sohan & Sons were able to provide an accurate quote and schedule the work for early December. Very impressed with quality of work through concrete finishing and sump pump installation. Job was 4 days total from demo to completion. Cost includes lifetime /owner transferable warranty work!

    Went very well, right down to them cleaning our main floor hardwood from any possible dirt/residue from boots or equipment.  They cleaned it so well that the main entry foyer of the house was as slippery as an ice rink.  If I were to make any suggestion it would be to quit using whatever floor cleaning product that was and switch to one that doesn't leave the floor so slippery.

    The carpet is in great shape and is a high quality berber but we had some dog issues. The carpet came very clean. The cleaners offered to do a scotch guard protection and odor removal on the carpet and that added another $100. After fees, etc, the total was about $225.
    Within a couple of weeks, the old stains were coming back up through the carpet. New stains did not clean up any differently with the scotch guard than before, so maybe the scotch guard wasn't properly applied or maybe it just doesn't work.
    Overall the carpet looked a lot cleaner for a few weeks but beyond that it was a waste of money. I wish I hadn't spent the extra $100 on odor removal and scotch guard.

    John offered to come to our home within 24 hours of my call. I was not available at that time so he came at the next earliest time convenient for me. He is very personable and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with him in our home and appreciated his ability to give us a few options so to how we could proceed to correct our problem. When I need carpet cleaning in the future or any other services I will certainly call him again. His fees were very reasonable and I was able to write him a personal check for the service.

    Their technicians were outstanding, providing emotional reassurance as well as practical support. They returned every day, as promised, to monitor their fans and dehumidifiers during the water damage cleanup. They then arranged for their own in-house painter to come and fix the open wall (drywall, etc.). All of this was done in the span of about a week. We were very impressed.

    Ohio Valley did a wonderful job.  They came out within hours of us calling and sucked all the standing water out of the carpets.  They then set up tons of industrial fans and dehumidifiers to pull out the rest of the moisture and came back daily to check on progress.  After a day or two, they pulled up the carpet in places, removed baseboards, and drilled holes in the drywall to make sure the carpet padding and walls were drying completely.  Then after ~ a week, they came back, reinstalled the carpet, and then cleaned and deodorized it.  We thought we would have to replace everything, but Ohio Valley did a great job.  They were professional, punctual, and thorough.

    After a hard rain, we had 9 inches of water in our lower level.  Many people needed help and many companies couldn't get a crew to us, but Ohio Valley Restoration pulled one together and had them to our house within 90 minutes.  They quickly assessed the situation and developed a plan of action, which they shared with us.  Then they worked straight through the night to help us through our emergency.  At each new step, they took the time to explain what they were doing and made sure we were okay with the process.  They provided good counsel and guidance as to what we could keep and what needed to be discarded because of water damage.  They were attentive to making sure that the situation did not get worse by taking preventative measures to address mold issues.  
    OVR did a terrific job in helping us through an emergency.  They were highly responsive; thoroughly professional; extraordinarily polite; and wonderfully committed to make our experience as painless as possible.  Even at 3 a.m. their attitude was refreshingly upbeat and helped us deal with a wholly unexpected problem.  
    While I never hope to have to use their services again; if I did, I certainly would call them - and suggest that you do if you ever find yourself with water in your basement.

    Clarke Con hires top quality and friendly professionals to do the work. I certainly rate the actual work done and those doing the work as A++++ in all categories. My poor rating kicks in at bill time. I do not feel comfortable listing all the details here. But there were multiple things that left me with a very sketchy impression of the billing department. Some of the details I do feel comfortable listing: The size of our house was originally over-estimated which lead to an increase in the final bill. This had to be mentioned multiple times before it was corrected. For example, the final bill did not properly list the house-size correction (listed it as a charge instead of a credit). Also, the final bill did not show our initial 50% deposit and thus was way over priced. In the end, the insurance covered everything and I only need to pay my insurance deductible, but I was not satisfied with the non-work aspect of this business. I feel that because they specialize in emergency situations, they were banking on the customer being under too much stress to check their bill properly and they were making money on that. Again, the work was awesome and done right... but the billing part needs improvement.

    They were very responsive, coming out with two hours after I called on a week day.  The estimator was nice enough.  Later that day two guys came out and tore out the wet carpet and pad, but not all the carpet that was wet.  If they had torn out all the carpet that was wet they would have had to move some heavy furniture into another room.  I kept feeling under the carpet and extending the sections they cut out.  At some point they stopped and said it would be cheaper to have a carpet installer tear out the rest and that they would sanitize and dry out the rest.  I was okay with that.  The carpet was taken out and the floor sanitized in two hours.  They left a dehumidifier and three fans for three days.  The workers were also nice and did a neat job if not all that was estimated.
    The real issue came to billing.  I told the TF estimator that insurance may cover the work but that the insurance adjustor had not come out yet to look at the damages.  He gave me an estimate "not to exceed" a certain amount.  When he came to collect payment, however, he wanted a much larger amount of money as he said, "because insurance is paying for it and I know the allowable rates."  I argued that the work was not even done according to the original estimate in that furniture was not entirely moved off wet carpet and no furniture was blocked and no humidity testing was done and no application of protective coating to carpet was done.  I ended up paying the full amount of the "not to exceed" estimate even though not everything was done as itemized in that estimate, but it was less than the insurance estimate.
    The real service was the speed at which they responded and the two hours of hauling out approximately 112 sq ft of saturated carpet and pad.  I was also impressed that the company's owner has pride in the service they provide and seemed to really care about my experience.  So even though there were a few snags, I would definitely use Teasdale Fenton again in such a situation.
