AAqualon, Inc.I bought a house that already had a sprinkler system installed, but soon found out that it was winterized over five years ago and not used ever since. So i am keeping my fingers crossed and called Aqualon and spoke to Dan and he came walked me through everything and explained how the system works. when it came to to turn the water on everything worked to perfection. It is a testement to this company that after lying dormant for 5 years, that this system worked ,but worked to perfection. I was so impressed with the knowledge and service I even cancelled my tru green and went with the Aqualon lawn service as well....Aqualon sends a true technician to the job and also is cheaper than Tru Green.....- Marc P.

AGreenTech Lawn & IrrigationEvery thing was great, they were very efficient, solved the problems by adding drainage (approx. 100 ft long), drains, and performed it extremely good. Had several problems with tree roots blocking the line. They came out and resolved the problem by replacing it with a different type pipe. They were very thorough, cleaned up after themselves and did a professional job. Would I hire them again? You bet they serviced my irrigation for the past 25 years and have done several landscaping jobs. I have had a very good experiences with them- Scott T.

AAqualon, Inc.The representative arrived promptly and fixed the problem with the zone sprinklers not working. It was caused by wiring in the zone controller that had somehow become loose over time. They also repaired another zone wiring that was about to fail. It was initially thought by the representative that the leak in the backflow valve could be repaired by rebuilding it - a cost of about $150. Upon further inspection by John Sink, the owner, a fix was found for a nominal cost that did not require a complete rebuild of the valve. We selected Aqualon to install our irrigation system in 2011 over two others, one quoting a much higher cost and one quoting a somewhat lower cost. We became convinced during the quoting process that we would get a good quality system at a fair price. We have been very pleased with that decision. Our interactions with their office and field staff have been professional and courteous. They arrive on time, are professional in their approach and charge a fair price for the work they do. They come, get the job done. Their work ethic is beyond reproach. The quality of the product they install is excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone wanting a quality irrigation system at a fair price.- Jeffrey L.

ASprinkler SolutionsInitial contact had to leave a message, the following day received a return call. They were able to schedule a date for repairs to be done within the week. Technician, Eddie, arrived on time and was very personable & knowledgeable, willing to answer questions and discuss available options. He had no problems going below the deck to repair a section of the PVC pipe that was broken. Eddie made the repairs quickly and efficiently, making sure to show me that each sprinkler zone was in working condition. Price of repairs were reasonable for materials and amount of time on site.- Amanda T.

ALawn SprinklersDoug Collins is the president, sales manager, operations chief and not reluctant to tweak the system or fix a problem. Rare to find an individual that treats your property like his own. While on property Lawn Sprinklers pulled wire for a low voltage system. Taking the down spouts under the soil was something I would have thought of later but benefited by getting it done now. System is well designed and I am effectively watering. There are a couple of other niceties such as the rotary sprinklers and metered valves for flower pots and the landscaping. I have heard of other prices in this range but nobody has a custom system like I do and the wiring is there for lighting this fall. One piece of advice is do not get sod or seed before the complete system is in and put a hard deadline for completion of the work.- Neal O.

BThe job was performed in a timely and professional manner. My only disappointment was the topsoil.I paid over $392 for topsoil to be put down and graded away from the home. It barely made a dent. I ended up putting down 4 cubic yards of top soil down myself for $190, which actually made a drastic difference.

AWe needed to connect our patio to our deck stairs and lower concrete patio. We also had a steep slope we needed a stair-type solution to. Jake came out and went over the details with us. We decided to replace the current square concrete block patio under the pergola with a round paver patio that connected everything. Jake also recommended a large natural stone block stair to deal with the slope. After getting the estimate we were pleased and went ahead and paid the half up-front to get it on the books. They were able to start only a couple months later and spent a good week working on the project. The old patio was torn down and the blocks carefully stacked. Yard damage was minimized and a very nice patio and path was built. The initial stairs connecting to the concrete patio wasn't exactly what we wanted, and Jake had it rebuilt with no complaints and no additional cost. We are extremely pleased with how everything turned-out, and would definitely recommend them.

AOakwood Lawn & Landscaping has helped us out twice: Last summer they did drainage work to direct rainwater away from the house, and this year they sprayed to kill an invasive weed that was taking over a very large garden, choking out all other plants. They did this while killing only very little of the periwinkle, which I want to keep. Both jobs were handled professionally, with no surprises, for reasonable prices. We'll definitely hire them again.

AThis is a belated review, work was done a few years ago. the crew was excellent in every way. Not only did they follow my requests closely, when questions arose a solution was worked out quickly and satisfactorily. I couldn't imagine a better result for a difficult clean-up job of a neglected yard including trimming bushes and shrubs, moving rocks, railroad ties, and much more. A++. I did hire them once more the following year for a lawn mowing when I was injured and couldn't do it myself, and that was so-so--seemed like someone came by and did the quickest job they could and called it finished, but the previous year's clean-up leaves me thinking that so-so mowing was an anomaly. I absolutely recommend them as a hard-working, no-nonsense outfit.
