    I was a few minutes late (about 10 minutes) to the appointment due to traffic. When I
    arrived I was informed that the office had a seven minute and quot;late policyand quot;
    and that I would have to reschedule. That policy had never been
    mentioned before, but now they were going to enforce it. So I decided I
    would find a more accommodating dentist.

    United Healthcare does a good job with their website.  I can see all of my claims there and manage my HSA account.  I can make payments from my HSA to health care providers online which is nice.
    However, I think my deductible and max out of pocket are high and I think that my health indurance monthly payment for coverage is high. 
    Also, I am disappointed that they don't have much coverage for chiropractic care.  Even though I have hit my max-out-of-pocket for the year, they still limit me to only $1000 of coverage for chiropractic which amounts to about 13 visits.  This seems insane to me as chiropractic visits are a great alternative to surgery and you would think avoiding surgery would save them money!

    The emergency room was top notch. My 4 year old daughter was diagnosed by a doctor the previous day with an ear infection but on this day woke up with vertigo and could not even sit of stand without falling over. The doctors there correctly determined that it was mastoiditis and got an MRI even though she wasn't display typical mastoiditis symptoms like swelling behind the ear. The MRI showed inflammed meninges which they took very seriously.
    Ultimately, they put her on antibiotics for 4 days in the hospital and then sent her home with a PICC line with more antibiotics.
    Dr. Alter (infectious diseases) was the doctor that primarily handled her care and he was wonderful. Very knowledgable, friendly, personable.Just wonderful.
    The staff at the children's hospital was amazing. We were there during her 4th birthday and they brought her a cake and even some presents. Very friendly and so supportive.
    Home Care of Dayton did the installation of the PICC line and changing the dressing. I was disappointed with them. The nurse doing the initial instructions was doing them in the room, and when another doctor came in to give us important information, she just kept talking to another parent and refused to wait until the doctor was done. Then they used some new extremely sticky tape to attach the PICC line and when it became time to change the dressing, it took 30 minutes of painful screaming of my daughter to remove the sticky tape. My daughter still has a bandaid phobia from this. The home care unit was also the only one we had billing issues with. They never sent me one particular bill for $5.80. Without ever calling me first, they put a collections agency on me immediately. [Even though I had paid all of the other bills they had sent me immediately for over $1000]. I was able to quickly resolve the problem by calling them, but I thought their billing practices left something to be desired.
    I will say that there could have been better communication at the hospital, in general. One several occasions, we were told that a particular doctor would be coming sometime that day to visit us in our hospital room, only to wait around all day, have the doctor never show, and then end up seeing the doctor the next day.

    Don't hardly pay for anything for our Autistic son. Won't pay for his medical appointments. Won't pay for therapies or treatments. Won't cover his prescription medications. Horrible! Don't know how other parents with Autistic kids can afford it when insurance refuses to treat them.

    I was in the hospital for 5 days.   Everything was wonderful from the nurses to the doctors to the food and accommodations.  This was my second time and it was above and beyond.  I highly recommend  this hospital.

    I had my surgery and recuperation and all kind of stuff. I had done my follow up stuff there. The general quality of care is the highest that I have experienced and I don't have a lot of experience with hospital care. My wife has dealt with the other hospitals in the Dayton area and her observation was that Sycamore hospital was far and away superior to the other hospitals in Dayton. I would prefer not to go anywhere else.

    It's an extended stay center at the hospital.  They offered rehabiliation for me.  The treatment and care was great.  The nursing staff and doctors were absolutely excellent.  I have never been treated so well in any facility before.

    They were excellent. I had heard horror stories about other places and they were terrific. They were very thorough and consistent in making sure that they had the right treatment for the right patient and always identified me positively when doing anything. They were responsive 24 hours a day. Their interest in the welfare and well being of the patient was just excellent. They were very personable. I was in the surgical ward 5 times from July to October and they were excellent every time. The nursing staff stood out. At every change of shift the new nurse and nursing assistant came and identified themselves and wrote it on a white board. They made sure to check back on everything. They always filled any requests I had. They were wonderful. They guessed wrong three times on the treatment but that was not their fault. I would absolutely use them in the future.

    The hospital was very serious and quick to respond when I mentioned chest pains. They asked me many questions and took many tests. They were very friendly and professional. When I asked for something they got it for me. They took care of insurance and everything else.
