    Dave's Handyman Service
After a few bumps getting started, Dave did a wonderful job installing our new entry door and screen door. He cleaned up well afterward and was respectful of my house and property. We requested a special purchase from a particular store for the doors and I think in the future I would just let Dave get whatever he feels will fit according to our needs. I was pleased with the work Dave did.

    Reeder Construction
My wife wanted to re-tile our 7' x 10' laundry room. A handyman friend of ours referred us to Jerry Reeder of Reeder Construction. (Our friend also works with him from time to time.) Jerry came right out to take measurements and give us an estimate (which included moving our washer & dryer during construction, tearing out and disposing of the dated ceramic tile, installing cement board, installing approximately 150 new ceramic tiles, replacing all of the baseboard, removing an alcove shower pan and drain (installed by the previous owner), and replacing the drywall where the shower pan used to be. His estimate was more than reasonable. The job took several days--and they (our friend helped) did a great job. We are very pleased with the result. Professional, meticulous, knowledgeable, and personable. We plan to use Jerry again when we completely redo our master bathroom (down to the studs) later this year. Highly recommend Reeder Construction.

Steven went to the site and removed the stools without my permission. After at least 6 phone calls, emails he called to ask for more money to make the necessary repairs. I reluctantly authorized the additional charges and was told he would be returning with the repaired seats that day (11/22/17), he never did. Now a week and at least a dozen phone calls and emails, he still hasn't returned our property. Stay Far, Far away from this guy.

Steven Black originally answered my call and accepted the work as outlined above. He went to the site to look at the scope of work and decided (without asking me) to take the stool tops to his shop to work on them. He then called me on 11/20/17 (after I left multiple messages for an update) to ask for more money to complete the job. I approved the additional costs and was told he would return the repaired seats on 11/22/17. He never did and now will not return my calls.

    David Gordon Construction LLC
An opportunity came up and we needed to sell our home quickly. We had been told by a previous handyman who came to fix a rocking toilet that the subfloor around the toilet was soft from a slow leak and would need to be replaced, but he had shimmed the toilet to prevent the rocking temporarily. The toilet never rocked again, so we frankly forgot about being told we needed the repair. In prepping our home for the sale, we knew we needed to address the issue and were scrambling to find a contractor who could take a look on short notice. Mr. Gordon was extremely professional on the phone and was quick to get back to me. He was out within the time frame I needed. He removed the toilet to inspect the subfloor to find that the reason the toilet never rocked again is because the subfloor was concrete and completely sound and intact. He could have gone along with my ignorance and "fixed" the problem, but he was honest and showed me why nothing needed to be done. So instead of an unnecessary repair that probably would have cost several hundred dollars, all it cost was an $80 trip charge. Now that we've moved, we have some remodeling to do in our new place and will be giving him a call!

    Henley Home Services
I am truly impressed with Henley Home services and will definitely use them again! We communicated through Angie's List and email, their responses were prompt and very friendly. Greg came out for an estimate soon after our first communication and did the work a week later. He was extremely professional, kind and knowledgable. I felt comfortable having him in the house (which I normally do not with tradesmen). Our bill at the end was exactly the number quoted and we felt that the price was extremely fair. The work that he did on the house looks fantastic, overall a total slam dunk!

    Dave's Handyman Service
Dave was prompt and very professional.  He did what he said he do  in the amount of time allotted. He also answered my questions without getting annoyed as I tend to ask a lot of questions.  I'd definitely use him again in the future.

    VIAGROUP

We had already completed the "old" kitchen demo before Kevin & Josh delivered the cabinets/cupboards.  They used our garage as a staging area for all materials and as a workshop for assembly and preparing trim work.  This kept the vast majority of clutter and debris out of our house.  As I mentioned previously, they are VERY organized.  They had all necessary tools & equipment to do the job--and there was no wasted time of motion.  They were well-prepared every day.   They tidied the work area as they went along and did a thorough cleaning each day before they left.  Kevin even made a custom-built wooden box out of excess trim material to cover the ductwork that ran from our range hood up through the overhead cabinet to the ceiling. (Something we didn't ask him to do.  He just thought of it on his own.)  We would DEFINITELY use Kevin & Josh on any major future project that we have.

    Trademark Electric
I  met with two companies before I found Trademark.  I did not feel comfortable with either.  After meeting with Tim from Trademark Electric and hearing is thoughts about how to update the electrical service in the house, I knew I had found a good company. I felt like I was getting the straight scoop in terms that made sense.  In addition the quote was very fair and detailed.  I knew exactly what was included and as we encountered additional add-ons  they also were also reasonably priced.
Trademark was very good about getting things done as needed so we could keep the renovation project moving.  They would check in along the way to see how the project was going and schedule accordingly.  Paul and Greg did the work and they were very good.  They asked questions and recommended things that I would never have thought of that made the renovation better.  They brought a lot of value and contributed a great deal to the success of the project. We even had a few laughs!

    Dave's Handyman Service
I really enjoyed Dave and wish he could have done our remodel but he emailed me and respectfully declined to bid the job. It seems like the bathroom remodel may have been bigger than his usual job so I'm sure it was a business decision and I respect that. If he can make more on 4-5 smaller gigs in the same amount of time then I don't blame him. Overall I felt he was very professional and I'm actually considering him for a much smaller job at my grandmothers if I don't use whomever I settle on for the master bath remodel. Easy to talk to, seemed to know his stuff, and struck me as trustworthy. I am paid to read people for a living and he passed all my litmus tests. I would def recommend you call him for jobs less than $2000. That's number is a guess though.
