    On the Fence Inc
This is the only company who responded to my request to replace rotted posts and rails on my split rail fence. They were prompt and professional. The price was very fair. The job was done well and in a timely manner.

    American Fence Company
Wow! The team from American Fence were amazing. Extremely professional and friendly. The fence is beautiful red cedar and installed perfectly. The crew cleaned up daily and made sure everything was perfect and to our satisfaction. They did not miss a detail. The cost was extremely fair and the quality of work is outstanding. Very good with communication and answered all of our question. These people care about what they do!

    On the Fence Inc
On The Fence Inc. is without a doubt, one of the best run service companies that I have ever used in my 35 years of home ownership. From the initial contact with Megan Hawkins, her visit to my home for an estimate, the dozens of email contacts during the installation and the actual construction of the outstanding solid cedar custom built privacy fence went as smooth as clockwork. Every part of the process was professional and punctual. The fence building guys, Ronnie and JB were a pleasure to work with and their skills in the construction of my new fence were outstanding. I believe that my new fence will last for at least 20 years or more, it is that well made. The wood that they used was from a commercial professional lumber yard and not a big box store, that's important. No corners were cut at anytime, the fence is grade 'A' through and through. I recommend On The Fence Inc. to anyone that expects the best for their money. They will deliver on every aspect from start to finish.

    Dog Guard Ohio

Heather and her daughter came out on May 2nd and installed the invisible fence.  After the installation (on the same day), she proceeded with training my dogs with audible training only and gave me instructions on the training and on the equipment.  She then came out in a week and worked again my dogs to make sure they would be okay with changing the transmitter with a correction shock in addition to the audible sound.  She spent over an hour working with me and my dogs and answered any questions I had.  I feel confident that if I need her assistance and advice in the future, she would be prompt with her communication.

I felt the price was very fair and it would be well worth the cost.

    R & T Fence Co Inc
They were quick as well as very detailed in the work they did. I would hands down hire them again and recommend them to anyone else. I actually got 15 bids before going with them, they were the easiest to deal with and the work was amazing.

    R & T Fence Co Inc
They came out the day they agreed and before I went out for lunch the project looked amazing.  Well on their way to completing the main posts.  I was a pain in the butt because I changed the project by several feet the day the project started, but they had no problems with my new request and it took a day or so longer to order the extra material.  I couldn't be more impressed with the work how kind they all were how accomadating.  Steve was easy to work with and surpassed my expectations.  I became a member of Angies list just to find a fence company and I am very glad I did.  My fence is exactly what I needed and its beautiful.  All gates work things are perfectly straight (in spite of my yard that is anything but straight).  Excellent company, very professional!  Beautiful job! Thanks Guys!!

    A 1 Fence
He was going to take out my privacy fence and put a new one in. Very nice fellow, but I wouldn't want to spend $6000 on the backyard. I am sure he would do quality work it is just too expensive. He seemed very professional. He was responsive. He knew what I needed to do because I had two small dogs who is going to make sure the fence got down to the bottom so they couldn't run. He assured me he could do the job but like I said it was cheaper to get invisible fence instead of that. I would have gone with him if it wasn't for the amount. I got prices from a couple of others places but his was high but I expect his quality would have been better too.

    Kenny Hoar Construction Company Inc.
First I met with the contractor in April of 2011 and told him what I wanted.  In order to get a fairly accurate estimate, he referred me to places to choose my carpet, tile and new fixtures.  His painter and countertop subcontractors came to my home with a color wheel for my paint, and samples for new kitchen and bath counters.  The initial estimate for the work was about $19,500, not counting the carpet and tile. The project wasn't actually started for almost 2 months. Of his "people," the carpet/tile crew was the best; they did a really nice job of laying the new carpet and tile.  The baseboard, the walk-in shower and the framing to narrow the opening between the living and dining rooms were also well done.  However, the plumber -- first of all, he never checked with me to see where the new bath fixtures were to go -- I wanted, and ordered, a sliding shower head in the new walk-in shower, but he put in a fixed shower head.  When I remarked that that wasn't what I had ordered, he had to go and buy a slider (which I really believe I then got charged for both the one I ordered and the one he bought).  I also had to call the contractor because he had crossed the hot and cold water hoses for the kitchen sink, and hadn't connected the dishwasher.  The painter was okay, but in some places I think I only got one coat of paint as opposed to the two he said he would use, and when the interior doors were replaced, I think they were just thrown up wherever -- no lock on one bathroom door, but a lock on the door into the attic, duh!  No lock on a bedroom door, and of the 6 interior doors only one closes properly.  By the time it was all done my bill was almost $28,000.  I have to admit that I didn't pick up on some of these items until quite some time later, being as how I lived alone I never shut my doors so didn't notice that some of them didn't have the appropriate locks on them and that they didn't close properly.  I honestly don't know if I got any credit for some of the plumbing and bath fixtures that didn't get used, since I never saw an actual bill for the products.  So, my advice to anyone contemplating remodeling, please review all the bills, not just the contractor's statement; make sure your doors close properly and that locks are on the appropriate doors, and keep an eye on the progress of the project (I obviously wasn't living on site, so I would only check in every couple of days).

    Henry Fence
I was originally worried that because this was a small job
that I would be waiting a long time. The delay was only @ 3 weeks
and was able to schedule on a Saturday which was convenient
because I wanted to get placement right and didn't need to miss a
day of work. Installer was friendly, professional, and effecient.
Very happy with quality of materials and
     final appearance.

    Shannon Fence Co
There were some bumps along the way :
The estimator seemed to really mean that the political sign in my front yard was going to cost me more money because the owner of Shannon fence was on the other side of the political view.
I kind of god "lost me in the system" and I had to call back to actually get the estimate.
The quote I was given didn't match the quote they quoted me again when I called to confirm service and none of that matched the final price but in all cases it worked to my benefit and besides - in my view the price was quite reasonable anyway.
    The positives :
The estimator was pleasant (he may have been joking about the political sign and I don't mind the joke at all but it just seemed a bit to serious to be a joke).
They did great work! This is what its all about right!?!
