Medical Specialist reviews in Massillon

Everything went as planned. The facilities were easy to find, parking was available. I did not have to wait long to see the Dr. Dr. Gobezie is an expert in his field and takes time to explain things in a way that was easily understood. His treatment was what I had expected since I had watched all of his videos on line prior to my visit. He doesn't recommend the use of MRI's to diagnose which I appreciated. He seemed to be very honest and interested in your care not just your wallet. You are in good hands with Gobezie!

The office has a sign requesting feedback.  I provided feedback on a phone call with a nurse and a visit to the office.  After being a patient for over 25yrs my first feedback to the physicians.  The Nurse could not spell basic words. With a Nursing Degree? She was rude and not friendly at all. The office manager responded for the Physicians that I was not invited back as a patient any longer. I called to review the issue with her and she would not discuss it and resolve the misunderstand.  The service of the office and management has fallen to a very poor level and I would not recommend them. Your health is too important to trust to staff that can not even spell and might cause and issue for a patient.

You feel comfortable just sitting there and talking to him. He just makes you feel comfortable before your surgery. The staff is excellent. The facilities are very clean and great. I would give him all A's.

After yet another nature walk cut short by throbbing pain in my big toe and waking up in pain in the middle of the night if my bed sheet put even the slightest pressure on it, I went to Dr. Davis to make the pain go away.
He is an excellent doctor who is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
The procedure did not take long. He carefully injected a numbing agent which numbed my toe quickly. Once the toe was numb, I did not feel a single thing Dr. Davis did during the operation. We were chatting while he completed the procedure, and then he bandaged my toe and it was all done.
Not until I had this simple surgery and the pain was eliminated have I realized how much my toe had been hurting all the time.
I am very thankful to have a foot specialist of Dr. Daviss caliber right here in Massillon.

Dr. Davis is what everyone wishes his or her doctor would be. His kindhearted demeanor immediately puts you at ease the moment he walks into the room. His communication skills are wonderful as he explains everything so you can understand the problem as well as possible options to improve or remedy the ailments.
As a Board Certified Foot and Ankle surgeon, he has also taken his passion for his field to the highest level. I am so pleased with the results of my foot surgery that I wish I had opted to have it sooner. The pain relief has been remarkable for me, and the recovery was quick and virtually painless.
Dr. Davis has been my foot doctor for the past five years, and I am so glad my family doctor referred me to him. I highly recommend him to anyone who is experiencing any kind of foot or ankle discomfort. And if you feel anxiety about seeing a doctor, he is certainly one who will make you feel calm and wish every doctor could be just like him.

An RN could not even spell basic words. The physician at an earlier visit had told me to call and get recommended to another specialist if the treatment did not work. Nurse would not request this from the Doctor and insisted on getting another appointment with the doctor. I gave feedback to the office Mgr. as the sign showed in the office. The office manager was not happy with this and was very rude over the situation.

I like him for a long time. He listens to you. He keeps his appointments without having much wait. You do not have to wait for more than 15 minutes. If you need to see him and it's not urgent, you can schedule an appointment with him. It's a specific one. If you have like an emergency that day, then you will be put with the others and all is given that day. The staff is very professional and very nice.

Absolutely amazing, considering the possible outcomes. He performed a craniotomy on my left temporal lobe and extracted the ruptured aneurysm. He didn't even shave my whole head either, just what he needed to. I awoke as one would from a stroke, being I had just had one 3 days before. I was in the Neuro ICU for 3 days, then the Neuro floor for 4 days, then the rehabilitation unit for 3 weeks. I was given speech, occupational, and physical therapy. They walked me through everything and genuinely cared about me. I ate and ate and ate, and with the food came energy to learn everything again. And every nurse, assistant, and doctor was more then willing to help me. I was a scared 22 year old neuro patient with no parents. I have learned to walk, talk, eat, and for the most part, think again. I have no right peripheral vision and very limited left peripheral vision. The aneurysm's location caused permanent damage to my optic nerves and can't be repaired. My short term memory has also been permanently affected. And headaches. The only real problem now is that the steroids given to me has caused Avascular Necrosis in my shoulders and hips. Heavy steroid use is the most common reason for the disease. It's the deterioration of your joints. It's the thorns on the rose, so to speak. I have to have both shoulders replaced and my left hip replaced. One shoulder surgery is actually next month, on November 15 2013. That all in exchange for life, I'd say it was a fair trade. I am a walking miracle, thanks to the Good Lord, University Hospital, and Dr. Bambakidis!

Surgery went well and post-operative care was well explained. The only glitch I had was the department that dispenses braces and orthotics. They didn't seem well organized and I had to make three trips to get the correct brace. Everything else was very good! I did choose to have physical therapy locally, as it is a 45 minute drive for me to get to the Crystal Clinic and therapy was several times a week for several weeks. I actually had finger surgery here as well several years ago with the same great experience and results.

I would recommend him to anyone. I had a severe vitamin B12 deficiency, which is not a specialty of his but I was seeing him for some related issues, and I had been to about nineteen doctors and specialists trying to figure it out. I was literaly almost at death's doorstep (that's what they told me) and he discerned one of my symptoms and he looked at me and said he would bet that I have a vitamin B12 deficiency. I went to the Cleveland Clinic and, sure enough, it was exactly what it was and they gave me B12 shots and there was an almost immediate change. They said I was probably only a couple of weeks away from a heart attack or a stroke. I was in bad shape. I go to him regularly for any kind of ear, nose, or throat issue and he has been wonderful. And he has a very wonderful bedside manner, is very personable, and is very easy to talk to.
