My son has had an ongoing infection for many months, and at first she tried conservative treatment, then when the infection returned, she treated him aggressively, with IV antibiotics at home. Her office staff is thorough, everything was coordinated with home health and Dr. Arakere was available at all times if we needed her. When my son was hospitalized during treatment for surgery that was not because of this illness, she still came by and talked to us.
He is currently being treated with oral antibiotics for six months and is doing well, and it is all due to her care and her wonderful skills as an ID specialist. We are so happy our general surgeon sent us to her, she was the best thing to come out of this episode.”
