I would highly recommend Rich at Cincinnati Mold Pros. We met with 4 other companies in addition to Rich after water damaged 3 rooms in our home from a broken water heater. Rich was the best out of the ones we spoke to. His understanding of the situation and attention to detail along with his communication and customer service during the project were excellent. In addition, if you are someone who has chemical sensitivities or health challenges related to mold, Rich should be your choice. He was the only one out of all of the companies we spoke to who truly cared and understood the health damages that mold can do. We're so glad we found Rich and his team in the midst of our water mess!

Great. Very professional and informative. Willing to answer any question, even after the inspection was done. Worked hard to get everything scheduled on time and understood logistics and timing of mold testing in conjunction with realtor needs.

From the time the estimator came out to inspect my home I knew I had selected the correct company. While they were not the cheapest they were very knowledgeable about the process and made me feel at ease. The technician's that responded were walked through by the estimator and I felt as if my job would be done correctly. I was informed of the steps throughout the process and was left with a basement I could now make into my dream basement. I would refer Teasdale Fenton's remediation crew to anyone that is in the same boat. Job well done.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. TRUSTWORTHY. AFFORDABLE. I highly recommend Restoration 1 for water damage. When we found a leak in our kitchen sink, I wanted the water damage fixed well and fixed quickly. Mike came to our house within a couple hours of the first phone call, communicated the process clearly and started the drying process right away. Mike worked with our insurance adjuster to make the process easy and efficient for us. His team was trustworthy, thorough, timely and responsive. They fixed the damage and any possible damage behind walls and worked hard to be sure we were comfortable and satisfied with their work. Please feel confident moving ahead with Restoration 1 for any water damage problems!

Testing was quick.  Provider was professional.  Received report within promised timeframe.  Test did not find any issues/concerns.  Son's Dr said that was rare, most companies will find something for you to pay for/fix, so appreciated honesty.

Looked them up on Angie's list as we suspected that we had a mold problem in our upstairs closet. Did a message on their Angie's list site. Mark, the owner, called me withing 10 minutes of my message being sent. He was professional and seemed to care. He was going to be in the area and said he would come out approx. 11:30am. He arrived slightly before 11:30am and did an assessment and inspection.
My wife and daughter were there and told me how professional and helpful Mark was. The inspection showed NO MOLD was there.
I emailed Mark to thank him for his prompt and professional service and to ask how much I owed for his inspection.
Mark said "No charge" but requested I remember him if we ever needed his services.
I am fully satisfied and, frankly, pleasantly surprised by how well this entire process went. BRAVO, Mark.
All contractors should be like you.

While preparing for some minor remodeling in our powder room bathroom, mold was discovered on our floor joists in the basement.  I was told that we should get it checked out and based on a recommendation; I called Rich Roselli from Cincinnati Molds Pros.

Rich was very prompt in returning my call and scheduling an appointment to assess the property.   There was visible mold on various floor joists, but, not everywhere.  An air test was performed which revealed high mold counts of aspergillus penicillium in the basement.   This was something of which we had little knowledge and was quite concerning to us.

Rich provide us with a scope of work and also suggested that we contact other mold remediation companies for comparison and that we did.   But in the end, we contracted with Rich and Cincinnati Mold Pros.

We were told that the mold could be cleaned up, but only after the contents were removed from the basement.  And after living in our home for over 20 years and raising three kids, the basement was very full with all kinds of stuff collected throughout the years!

We had many questions and Rich was always one to take the time for our questions and moreover, work with us to determine the best approach for remediating our home. Rich was more than understanding with our many concerns and did whatever he could to make us more comfortable with the work to be done.  And believe me; he was called upon many times with continued questions and concerns, but was always there for us!

The project took a few weeks to complete, mainly due to the amount of contents.  We all pitched in and together cleared out the basement, either disposing of or storing contents to be kept.  After the basement was cleaned and passed an independent post remediation assessment and air tests, we all pitched in again to clean the contents in storage and return them to the basement.

We are happy that our house is once again our home and we thank Rich for going above and beyond for us!  We would highly recommend Rich and Cincinnati Mold Pros!

They are tops when it comes to customer service and working with the client to arrive at a satisfactory plan of action, offering suggestions and explaining the ins and outs and why something will work when something else might not.  I love their ingenuity and problems-solving capabilities as a team.  Whenever I need remodeling of any type done, I will call Calloway.  They are very competitive pricewise, without sacrificing quality of work done and without sacrificing quality of materials used.  I cannot say enough about the positive experience and about how well-pleased we are with their work.

A few years back, they did a mold remediation job for me.  My experience with them at that time is why I contacted them for this job.

I experienced a leak in my home from a water intake line to a toilet.  The leak occurred into the bathroom wall and went into the ceiling of a bedroom on the basement level before discovery.  Mold was suspected on the bathroom baseboard and in the ceiling of the basement bedroom, which had been opened to drain the water.  I searched for a company that could provide me with mold inspection services that wasn't in the business of providing mold remediation services, as I felt this could present a conflict of interest.  I was very pleased to have Chuck Billingsley, Senior Mold Inspector and Environmental Hygienist, with Mold Inspection Sciences come to my home to complete this service.  He was very professional, arrived timely, and completed a thorough assessment of my home.  He explained every step of the process in detail and allowed time for my questions.  He presented recommended options available to me in regards to sampling and/or air testing.  He was very knowledgeable regarding assessment and precautions to take with the presence of mold, having also worked in the mold remediation business previously.  He noted I would receive a full written report, to include results of lab testing, within 7-10 days, which I did.  He gave me his business card and stated I could call him anytime if I had questions or concerns.  The report I received was very thorough and understandable.  My experience was positive from the first contact for scheduling through the completion of the inspection and receipt of the report.  I received a follow-up call from the company to provide me an opportunity to ask any further questions and to comment on my inspection.  I also received recommendations of several contractors whose work experience in mold remediation they were familiar with, but also advised to get as many estimates as I could.  I was offered the opportunity to have someone from Mold Inspection Services to evaluate the mold remediation work during and upon completion. I was also offered the opportunity to get testing post completion of remediation work and certification that could be used in the event I choose to sell my home.

It went very well. I got an education interacting with Chuck. He was very helpful, very authentic and wasn't trying to sell me something I didn't need. He really knows his stuff. He offered to come back if needed, offer additional expertise and even helped give us some ideas on what to look for in duct cleaning and what to avoid.

It's true that this company only does testing so there is no conflict of interest. However, it's important to know that there is a cost to get the specialist in the door (in this case, Chuck) and then there are additional fees associated with taking samples of the mold that he finds. And this is the important part because you want to know what type of mold you have. You have options though. He explains which samples he recommends taking and which ones probably aren't worth taking. It's not cheap... something like $60 per sample so it's important to have them take samples of only the areas that are most concerning. I think we had three samples taken. If they take an air sample (due to possible air contamination) they also charge you for the "test air sample" which is basically the baseline so they know what to compare with. So that is two separate samples, even though technically they are only sampling the air, let's say, in your basement. So it adds up. That being said, I don't feel like he was pushing for us to do every sample recommended.

I paid $140 for inspection and $60 per sample (had 3 samples taken). This was not the normal price so be sure to try to talk them down or ask for a deal.

Overall, great experience. No one like to pay for things like this but if you have to. Go with Mold Inspection Sciences.
