    KAYLA NAILS
The absilute worse nail salon i ever been to. Dirty and twilight zone experience! Shocked me how dirty especially during pandemic. Employee coughing with mask off nose. First time customer. Terrible nails! Thick and uneven. Went home and cut my nails off! Asked for manucure and full set. NO manicure. Must of forgot and half way through this disaster I didn't want a manicure. Entire time talked to eachother in their language. One of my pet peeves to not acknowledge your CUSTOMER a NEW customer! You need to build clientele! This is not how you do it! Not impress will NEVER go back! I dont need to chat for an hour but you lost me as a customer! I will make it known how wrong my experience was. Im too nice of a person to "go off " at a service. My job has been in customer service over 20yrs. I have a hard time at the time of service to be a b****. But I will write a bad review if I had a horrendous experience like this. I looked at reviews before going. Im in SHOCK! Nastiest rudest experience ever had! Expensive as well! Raise prices during pandemic? Im almost positive! Im a high tipper! In fact have never left a "small" tip in my life. $50 I felt guilty I left $57.

    Aveda Fredric's Institute
Every time I have gone the staff has been attentive, courteous and knowledgeable. An educator is always present and assist the student with each step in the process, as well as, checking the students work and making sure the guest is satisfied. I have always been happy with the results! Well worth the time and money! Because this is an education facility expect to be at the salon longer than normal, but trust me, it's worth the extra time!

    All Nailed Up By Dana
Had a Hawaiian Tropical pedicure with Dana tonight and was very pleased with her work. Now I want to be honest in my review--if you are looking for a luxury spa, this might not be your style. But the lack of chandeliers and marble floors is made up by excellent work. Dana was polite, friendly, and her work was top notch. I plan to return.

    THE VILLAGE SPA
They are very good. I have had no problems with them at all. I think they are friendly and they listen to what I want done. How I want my hair cut, and how I want it styled, or if I want to change the color of my hair. They are just really friendly and they go out to really help me and make sure that my experience is really nice. It is not really expensive. They are very professional.

    Mitchell's Salon & Day Spa - Kenwood
The service is always excellent. They are expensive but the service has always been wonderful. My hairstylist is awesome. I go in there and say, 'Do whatever you want'. He does and I never look bad. He always has lots of ideas and everything always looks good. It is very friendly.

    Aveda Fredric's Institute
I've been using Aveda's for my haircuts and styling for special events exclusively since 1999, including for my wedding. I've also had a facial and pedicure at the school. The students are always knowledgeable, professional, and fun. It's a great atmosphere, and a great price. The free mini-facials and massages make the experience even better. Occasionally, the student will also do a free makeup application. As the school's popularity has grown over the years, the wait time to be scheduled for services has increased, so it's wise to schedule your next appointment when you go for a service. Any wait, however, is well worth it. For my money, the experience is unbeatable anywhere else in the city.

    Serenity Nails Spa & Salon
Because I am chemically sensitive, I went to the salon the day before making an appointment to find out whether there was a bad chemical smell. It smelled ok and looked attractive so the next day I made an appointment half an hour before my friend and I wanted to go. We were greeted in a friendly way and escorted to the pedicure chairs. Everything looked clean and new. The nail technicians were professional and took care that our needs were met. We were given free bottles of water. Our technicians, Tiffany and Bea, did an excellent job making our nails look gorgeous.

    Le Salon
I took my girlfriend out for her 50th bday.  We did lunch and then I treated her to a pedicure after.  I wanted a place close to the restaurant and Le Salon was it.  Very nice and friendly staff.  We were treated to a complete pedicure: massage chair, foot massage, foot mask, and polish.  The only thing missing was a nice glass of wine.  Enjoyed it very much.

    D A VI NAILS
I took my spouse to the Da Vi Nails inside the Walmart Supercenter in Mason, to have his first-ever pedicure.  The salon is open to the store, but I like the idea that those nasty fumes from the fake nails aren't trapped inside a small space.  I made an appointment for us both earlier that day for 6 p.m. (they close at 7), and they were ready for us when we arrived at 5:55.  We had a soothing foot soak and sat in massage chairs.  It appeared to be a husband and wife team working there. The man took care of me and the woman took care of my husband.  Hubby had some serious calluses, so she suggested he soak and enjoy the massage while she painted the nails of a drop-in client, who appeared to be a regular.  The extra couple of minutes was exactly what my husband needed to enable the tech to work easily on his feet and nails.  And since I was getting painted, we ended up being finished at the same time, so it worked out great.   I later heard my husband telling his sister that the best part was the moisturizing leg and foot rub (it did feel good), and that he intended to go back soon.  My only criticism is the relaxation is interrupted by the television blaring just feet away.  But the people did a good job and the price can't be beaten.
