Window Replacement reviews in Marysville

Excellent! The installer was very professional and devoted to the desires and concerns of the customer. He was easy to talk to and welcomed my many questions. He was an expert in his craft even in some non-standard conditions, and struck a perfect balance between doing the job right while avoiding unnecessary expenditures. The process was clean and efficient, and the windows look great and operate beautifully. Every specification detailed prior to building the windows was met after installation. I recommend 100%.

It took longer than expected to get a quote, actually took a complaint to hear back from them. Once we did hear back they sent us the "quote" for our home. I put quote lightly because it looked like someone spent 5 minutes in photo shop and then used a general template to put together a price quote. They wanted more than double what we had been quoted by other companies with no real explanation. There was no cost breakdown, like we had been promised, and no options, also like we had been promised. They also wanted $4,000 to have an engineer come to inspect the property, we have already had this done at the time of purchase and paid only $600, not sure how they came up with their numbers but will definitely not hire them.

We originally scheduled Taylor Renovations to come out and give us a quote 3/9, they called the day of and rescheduled to that Saturday. Called again on Saturday to reschedule to Monday 3/13. They didn't even bother to show up or call to let us know they weren't coming. I have tried to contact them since with no reply.

all work described above was performed. My salesperson was Lou Italiano and he was phenomenal ! He kept in touch with me throughout the process and promptly answered or sought out answers to any questions I had. The job went smoothly and when a problem arose with the storm door, Lou was on it and got back to me with the resolution the same day! I have had the opportunity to speak with Jessica in finance and Quincy, who was in direct contact with my insurance company for parts of the job that were covered under my policy. Everyone involved in this company has been very professional and courteous. It has been a fantastic experience and my house is gorgeous!

I signed a contract with them in May for a new Bay Window. This process was supposed to be 6-10 weeks. They finally put the window in Oct. First time they put it in it was too small, so they duct taped my window. They then forced the window in. I had the owner come out and the manufacturer comes out and they claimed “It does fit.” The window is too small and don’t fit. The trim doesn’t match and they didn’t insulate it. There is gaping holes and they even caulked the outside of the window when it started to rain! I would not recommend this company!

I needed to replace a leaky bedroom window.  I just gave them the approximate size and they provided a quote.  It was very simple. Their quote was lower than 3 other quotes I received. Once I decided to purchase the window, someone came to get the exact measurement.  It took about 5 weeks to make the window and check the quality. I had some trouble scheduling the installation but they took care of it and Dan stood by their customer guarantee.  Customer service is excellent.  They keep you up to date every step along the way.  You can tell that they definitely put the customer first.  The window looks great and appears to be good quality. I will definitely use Zen next time I need a window.

Let me be upfront first by saying that we used ImprovIt because we were their grand prize winners from their booth at the Ohio State Fair in 2013 (yes, people really do win in those raffles!). So take that with a grain of salt in terms of their responsiveness and service. However, quality of work is still quality of work...either you have the skills or you don't so I still wanted to review them. Their office staff to schedule our appointment was very responsive and friendly. They sent two men out to do the job itself (remove seven windows and replace them with new product). The lead guy was very professional and knowledgeable. Explained things in detail even after the installation regarding how to work them, what to do if we had problems. Talked to us at our level, not down to us.
The windows themselves have been in for six months, and we have had no issues. Seals were (and still are) good around the windows, no leakage, no condensation. The sound proofing difference is amazing. Not sure I can tell an energy difference yet. Removal and installation of all windows took one day. They did no damage to anything inside or outside and cleaned up after themselves when they were done.
Really great experience. Again, maybe they brought their A-game since we had won, but the window installation itself is something we've been very pleased with and we would recommend them.

Joe Decenzo, the contractor, got a number of tiles that we liked. He went and ordered up the exact quantity that we needed and ran that into our total bill. He did a great job and I would give him a five-star rating. I just had contact with him this morning because we are going to get him to do another job in our backyard. We are doing decks, a cement slab, a brick wall and a fireplace. His service was reasonable but what we did was we upgraded a tremendous amount of stuff. He gave an estimate for the granite for the kitchen that covered grades 1, 2 and 3 and we fell in love with grade 12 which was like ten times more. He was very cost conscious and we were particular. He is coming by again tomorrow to give us an estimate for our new project.

They are very punctual, professional and would highly recommend this company to anyone.  Their work was above and beyond what I expected.  The owner was very helpful expediting the job and they do such a great job replacing windows.   They made it really easy for me to get the job completed.

Had several window replacement companies out to give estimates. Decided to go with Broadview for several reasons. The most important one was price. Ed came in a couple thousand dollars under the next closest estimate for a similar window. Another reason for the decision is that we weren't subjected to a long-winded sales pitch (other contractors, are you listening?). We had another contractor in right before Ed Bana came for his estimate. The contractor was still in his "history of the company" spiel and Ed waited patiently for the end of the presentation and played with our dog to keep her entertained.
When the original contractor was finished and left, Ed asked us if we knew what we wanted. We had a general idea of LoE, argon filled, double paned windows. Ed brought in two different options, and took us through the features of each. No pressure sales, just an overview of each window, and gave us the price on each. We went with the Simonton 5500 glass. Whole process from beginning to end took just under 30 minutes, less than half of the time the other contractor took to explain the history of his company.  Ed informed us that the windows would take approx 4 weeks for delivery and install, which we were happy with and seems like this is the standard. So imagine my surprise when Ed called us the next week for install on Saturday. Two weeks from estimate to delivery is excellent.
Randy came to measure the windows and also to give us other ideas on how to increase energy efficiency of our older home. During the install, Randy was forthright in explaining what he was doing and why. We have one window that was installed square, but looks slanted due to the settling of the home. We understood, that's one of the quirks of owning an older home. The install went great, took just under 7 hours, which we thought was amazing. We had been planning for an all day install process. They arrived at 9 and finished by 4pm.
The fit and finish, straight down to the capping and caulking, looks great. Ed called halfway through the install process to ensure that everything was going smoothly. The installers left the house as clean, if not more so, than what they had found it. We are very happy with our new windows and, although I cannot comment on energy savings as of yet, it's nice to not feel a draft coming through a closed window and being able to open every window in the home.
Ed again called to make sure we were happy with the install and ask if we had any questions or concerns. The customer service is excellent. It's nice to have your questions answered without the feeling of being "sold" a particular product or service. It's also nice to have an estimate that did not bash all the competitors. A great company, with great service, and great prices is very hard to find. I'd recommend Broadview Windows in a heartbeat and would not hesitate to use them again.
