    SEA RAY OF CINCINNATI
I worked with Josh Ginn and I could NOT be more happy. I love my new boat and Josh was a wealth of information and only interested in my finding the right option for me. The professionalism was amazing beyond my accusation of my new boat. I highly recommend!!!

    Dry Dock Boat Services
Normally on an engine that is 13 years old the issue is the injectors. They sent out injectors to be cleaned and after re-installing the idle issue was corrected but the high end power issue remained. They determined that the high pressure fuel pump was bad. Once replaced it now runs better than it ever has. It took 4-6 weeks to get it back but that was due to waiting on parts, not a result of the shop.

    UNIQUE AUTO DETAILING
I had trouble finding boat detailers in Cincinnati, but happened across a Google review for Unique Auto Detailing. After doing a bit of research I found their Facebook page that has details and photos of some other boats and rather exotic cars that they have detailed over the years. I spoke to Ryan (the owner) 2-3 times before dropping my boat off to him in February to be detailed as his schedule allowed. He explained the process and the cost estimate was around $600. He explained it could be more than that depending on the level of work involved. Originally he expected to complete the job in 2 weeks. I called into Ryan a few times over the course of the next month. Each time I called, the estimate was pushed out a bit farther. The problem is the boat is so big it takes up almost his entire garage work space, and so he had to find a time when he had a low volume of cars needing detailed to get the boat done. This was okay with me because it was wintertime and I couldn't use the boat anyway. We also got hit with a bout of 70 degree weather, and he got hit hard with customers looking for their spring detailing. I was okay with this, but would suggest that Ryan be a bit more proactive on letting customers know if their jobs will be delayed. Overall I was very pleased with the outcome. The boat had been stored outside for many years before I bought it and had built up a lot of oxidation. He was able to bring nice shine back to the boat. The cockpit, anchor locker, dash, seats all were in like new condition when he was finished. I think he is going to post some photos on his Facebook page if you're interested in seeing the results.

    BLINDS DIRECT
One of the blinds recently failed.  We called them to see if they had parts and they said the blinds were under a lifetime guarantee so we just had to bring them in for them to fix for free.  They were so nice.  They were great on the phone, they have a drop off room next to them in case you can't get there during business hours.  It has a key pad so you can put in the code they give you and leave it off in this room and pick it up the same way. It's highly convenient and they realize not everyone can get there during the day.  They got out of their way to make it easy.   They repaired it quickly, it was a great quality product.  I probably paid more for it but now I'm not replacing my blinds.  They've done very well by us.  I'll call them in a heartbeat if anything happens and I'd definitely recommend them to friends.

    Dry Dock Boat Services
Dry Dock Boat Service is very easy to tuck my boat off and tell them when I need it. Even though they are fairly backed, they got my boat down fairly quick.

    BEECHMONT MOTORSPORTS
CHRIS, THE SERVICE MANAGER, WAS ABLE TO QUICKLY GET A ''SPOT CHECK'' OF THE DAMAGE AND SAID IT WOULD PROBABLY BE MONDAY BEFORE FINAL ASSESSMENT, BUT I GOT A CALL LATER THAT SATURDAY AND THEY HAD GOTTEN TO IT EARLIER AND GAVE ME THE FULL ESTIMATE. HE ORDERED PARTS QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY, WHILE I CHECKED INTO ANY INSURANCE RAMIFICATIONS. I HAD IT BACK QUICKLY AND HAD AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE AS HAVE SEVERAL FRIENDS(ENGINEERS). VERY IMPRESSED AND WOULD USE AGAIN FOR SEADOO WORK. REPLACED IMPELLER, INLET GRILL AND HOUSING.

    WOODEN BOAT SHOP LLC.
I first want to make it clear that my excellent experience was with the new owner of the Wooden Boat Shop, Mr. Butch Davis. The original work that was done on my 1950 Lyman wooden boat by the former owner was a disaster. I paid over $8000 to have repairs done to the hull and got a boat back that started sinking when launched. This happened just before the sale of the Wooden Boat Shop to its present owner, Butch Davis. Upon hearing of my dilemma, Mr. Davis offered to try to make the situation good even though he was in no way responsible for my problems nor did he have any obligation to me. I was blown away. He and his crew dealt with me in a very professional, straight forward manner. I would recommend the new and quot;Wooden Boat Shopand quot; without reservation.

    HERN MARINE DISTRIBUTORS
After recently moving to a lakefront property, obviously a boat was the next step.  Unfortunately, I knew very little about boats and had a lot of research to do.  I went to the local Travel  & Boat show and ended up meeting several boat dealers including Hern Marine. For whatever reason, Hern Marine was the easiest dealer to work with and really did a good job of communicating with me despite my hectic work schedule.  Their facility also had extended hours, which made it more convenient for me to visit their facility in the evening or on weekends. Ron Cummins (the co-owner and sales manager) was very easy to deal with and did a good job of providing information without being overly aggressive or pushy with the sale.  He took the time to look at various options and answer all of my questions and really walked me through the process from start to finish. I ended up purchasing a used (2012) Suntracker pontoon boat with an upgraded outboard motor and vinyl flooring, which I believed would be good features to have.  Unfortunately, the previous owner didn't have a cover for the boat so Hern ordered a custom cover from Suntracker.  Due to backlog, the cover still hadn't come in yet but Ron swapped a cover from another boat already in stock to make sure I would have the boat before Memorial Day Weekend, which was much appreciated. Jack Hern (the semi-retired owner) personally delivered the boat to the marina at my lake and gave me the complete crash course on the boat from bow to stern.  Again being a novice, Jack was very patient and even helped set up all of the accessories and worked with me to ensure I understood how to operate the boat safely and correctly. Despite being somewhat of a major purchase, Hern was able to make it a fairly easy transaction overall and I certainly appreciated their personal approach and attitude.  I am sure I will continue to visit their huge Ship Store in the coming years for boat parts, supplies, and accessories.  Given my experiencee, I am somewhat surprised there are not more reviews on Hern Marine as they were a great company to work with overall and I would highly recommend them to other boaters.

    Dry Dock Boat Services
After attempting to use a name brand marine company for service on the Ohio River... and waiting 3 weeks for them just to look at the issue, I found Dry Dock. I called and spoke to Tracy who was incredibly helpful in explaining how their service works, whether the parts were in, etc. I dropped by boat off on a Thursday to replace an old throttle, throttle cables, and drive shift cable. They were able to perform the work and have the boat ready by the following Tuesday. Doug performed the repair on the boat and upon picking up, everything was back in place, and very clean. There were no signs of repair work having taken place at all. In addition, all along the way, the entire team of mechanics were helpful in answering various boat service types of questions. I got my boat back on the water, and tested it for a day, and took it out with family and friends another day. Their repairs completely fixed the problem! The work and service Dry Dock provided was one of the best I've ever seen or been a part of.

    Green Acres Canoe and Kayak
My family of six rented inner tubes for the day to relax and drift down the river for a few hours. Very easy, fun experience. Reasonable pricing let the six of us have summer fun for under $80! I highly recommend Green Acres! Four teenagers in the sun and water for 4 hours without a glimpse or request for a phone!! Amazing!
