FI called.up and ask what they would charge specifically to put 2 new tires on 2 new rims that I had purchased myself, and I was told $20.00. Well I thought, fair enough so I went there on Saturday around 10:00 am. Well it did not take very long because there was no one else there, which I understand why now! Then I made made the comment what was the bill because I figured he might charge some tax. He told me to come to the office, so I did and when he was done he told me it would be $49.53 and all I could do was say, WHAT and repeated $49.53. I was in shock. He did not take the tires off anything or the wheels off anything or put tires and wheels on anything! The only thing he did was take 2 brand new tires and put them on 2 new rims!

AThey do basic maintenance on one of our cars and minor repairs. I had just gotten a new car from them so they changed my oil and rotated my tires for free. We've bought several cars from them. Basically for the oil change I maybe waited 45 minutes. For any other basic repairs we've had done they've always, if it's going to take a couple of hours, they give us a car. I can stop and get one on my way to work and drop it off. Yeah they're good. They're flexible.

FThere was nothing wrong with the drive shaft. The problem was verified that the differential in the rear end was bad from the local Ford dealer!
The business has since went out of business about a month after being open. Big rip off.!!!

AJ & D's Transmissionswas having what seemed like transmission problem.vehicle did not shift properly as trans.got warm.in april 2013 the vehicle was doing the same thing so I took it to local dealer who ran diagnostic check and stated that a solenoid needed replaced.the trans. was repaired at a cost of 900.00 dollars between the time of trans. repair and going to j+d I took the vehicle to dealer for oil changes and each time was told this or that needed done. I took my vehicle to my personal mechanic and friend who told me that the repairs they suggested were not needed or blown out of proportion.a buddy who was having similar problem with his vehicle recommended I go to j+d trans.to have vehicle checked I asked j+d to give me a honest opinion of the diagnosis because I feared taking the vehicle to the dealer who did the original work would scam me into a trans. job I did not need.j+d ran diagnostic and told me the problem was a misfire in the no. 1 cylinder.my mechanic replaced spark plug and the vehicle has been running beautiful ever since.- john b.

ASHERMAN'S TRANSMISSION INCThey determined that it would be a waste of money to replace the shifting solenoids as Dodge was having a 30% failure rate on these parts and mine were sill working. The surprise was that they did not charge me anything for their time or expertise. Very professional, personable, honest - like your mechanics of yesterday. We have already recommended friends to this company and they reported they were well satisfied with the service and didn't experience sticker shock when they got their bill.- Delmar & Linda J.

FShaffer Ford Sales IncWent to pick up car when they called saying job was done. Paid, went to car and nothing had been done to it. They had not even done the washing underneath to clean dirt off so undercoating will stick. Left it for another day to finish job. Got car next day and there was over spray of undercoating all over the paint and windows. Had to use wax and tar remover to clean it off. There was actually gobs of rust inhibitor on the rocker panel under the doors that leaked out of the doors. I have worked in auto garages all my life and have performed this job. You will get some over spray, but there is no way it could be this bad unless it was intentional. I think the tech got yelled at by the service manager, and did a lousy job on purpose. I have done business with this company since I was 18 years old, and am now 55, I told my wife to go there expecting a job well done, to factory specs. FBetter Days AutomotiveThey put in a transmission in before that which came to $1100. They even charged me to gas to go get the transmission. He fixed the transmission, but the power steering did not work then. I took the car back a second time, and didn?t fix my heating system at all. But charged me for it. They do not give good service at all! I will never take my car to them again, and I wouldn?t recommend them to anyone!- JO ANN W.

FT & B TRANSMISSIONThey have it back now for the fifth time in nine months. They have kept it for over 3 months overall. This time it is 4 weeks, and they are in no hurry to do anything. Tried to claim the warranty has expired it because they have "fixed" it four times. Seriously. It gets worse every time they have it and they try to blame it on me. They have had it for a month now and just keep putting me off.- Peggy S.
