It was overall good. A few minor things but they were always ready to fix things and we have called them for 3 jobs since major remodel. He and wife were always helping me make best decisions within budget. He goes above and beyond.

    GERRELL ROOFING
I'd called a couple of contractors that specialized in gutter repairs; one wanted to charge me for an estimate and the other was booked 4 months out. I remembered that Stew had come out on a day's notice to help me find a leak last fall, so I called him. He's a busy guy who is no-nonsense and shoots straight from the hip, and that's how I like to do business. He stopped in the morning, gave me a quote for the laundry list of things that needed done, and said he'd like to come back in the afternoon to do the work. He did exactly what he said for the quoted price and I haven't had any trouble since. If you're not with Garrell Roofing or the Troy Township Fire Department, you're not getting on my roof. Period.

    Ohio Metal Roofing
William and his crew were able to accommodate our project within a week or two of requesting his services. They did excellent work within a very timely manner of 2 days. The roof was a very large project with the existing house and an additional 1400 square feet of living space. This team provided quality workmanship and a professional commitment to the job. William also provided us with the appropriate information regarding type of roofing, underlayment, warranty, and color samples prior to installing. He also gave us addresses of other homes in our area that had the color of roof we were looking to have installed so we were able to see how the color looked like in actual scale prior to installation, which was very helpful.

    Yoder Roofing
David Yoder was great to work with throughout the whole process. He was very timely in coming to do the estimate and he left the quote with us that very day. We needed new shingles on the roof of the house as well as a roof over the pergola on the front porch. We also wanted to add a sun tube to give light to a dark hallway and we needed to replace some of the oldest gutters on the home. We also asked him to tear down an old chimney not in use anymore. He was able to handle all of this for us. The first day was the installation of the shingles on the roof and the job was done quickly and looked great! The second day was for the pergola, gutters and the sun tube which were handled just as efficiently and professionally. David Yoder and the team are great at what they do and we couldn?t be happier. The sun tube adds so much light to that hallway and looks seamless in our ceiling. I would recommend him to anyone!

    Tim's Mid-Ohio Home Improvement LLC
There was some confusion coordinating them to go to the home to get estimate. They promptly scheduled and completed the work when I authorized. When I asked if there was a discount for Angie's List, they replied that they didn't belong to Angie's List. However, that was where I got their information.

    B.C. Smith Construction, LLC
Brian and his crew came out, quickly identified the issues with my roof. Repaired it and warrantied their work. During heavy rain in May there was another leak, they came back out within a day of my call and got the job done. During this time I discovered a large kitchen window had been leaking, he quickly got an estimate, found matching siding, regularly conferred with me, and replaced my window.
Brian and his crew were courteous detail oriented and cared for their customer. Easy to talk to and honest. Highly recommend.

They replaced all the siding on one side of my house that was damaged in a wind storm.
Can not see any diffrence to the replaced siding from the rest of the house.
Very Excellent work at reasonable price.

Ben Morgenstern / Gutter Cleaning & Repair
I used this company for a few years.  The price went up every time, and much more than inflation.  The last year I turned him down based on the continuing price increases,  the last of which I felt  was outrageous! Plus, his attitude stunk. He acted like he was doing me a favor to do the work.  Not very bright for someone who hopes to cultivate repeat business. He prominently displays a fish on his advertisements. Please!

We Do It Roofing, Lawn Care & Snowplowing
Woodke convinced us he and his crew were professional and would do a professional job.  He said they had many years experience.  He asked for $3,000 down and the last $ paid upon completion of job.  They took 2 days.  On completion of the job, I pointed out that the one part of the roof extension on the front of the house, they shingled, that the one shingle didn't look right, as it was turned a funny side ways, and too, that the the helper had "sliced" into the roof too far.  He said he could not correct it.  Then later we discovered that the drip edging on both sides of the house was pieced, looking like he had tried to make do with pieces of drip edge he had left over making the job look like patch work and shoddy. Nails are hanging on the outside of the roof that was not nailed into the roof.  Too, the one piece is not even close to the roof edge...it is standing away from the edging.  Too, where they removed some of the old edging they left nails there and put the new edging over it which caused "dents" in the new edging. We phoned him and several days later he came to look at it in the pouring down rain which was difficult to see.  He said he could not remove the edging as it would mean the whole roof would have to come off and also to order more shingles, etc.  I told him I figured he would say that, and that we are very unhappy with the way it looks, and did not feel this was a professional looking job.  I also discovered there were plastic bottles of water left in the spouting of which I had provided for them as it was very hot on those days.  Too, later I discovered several nails on the ground which could have been dangerous to us as we weed and mow.  Also, they had hit the side of the house and left marks which I have tried to remove without being able to get it all off.  Then, I found they had scuffed up my spouting down to the metal.  Too, they had hit a small lamp I had outside and scuffed it up.  I did not say anything to them about this yet.  I was not impressed that the cutting of the edges was not done neatly.  I told him to come back when it is not raining, and he said he would get finishing nails and nail down parts of the edging.  We called a couple weeks later, and still nothing has been done, and he had not tried to contact us as of this date 9/22/14. We were not impressed at the way they through the shingles onto a dump truck often not landing into the truck.

    Hunt Home Improvement
Original estimate was given in May 2014, at that time they were working about 30 days out. We anticipated them to start on our roof by the middle of June. As it was we had a very wet summer and their schedule kept getting further and further out. They started on our roof at the end of August. We were estimated at 2 layers of existing shingles, but we actually had 3. Yuck. So it took longer to get everything off. Of course roofers are a the mercy of the weather and a day or 2 after they started it rained, then there was Labor day- which they worked on for about 6 hours just to catch up because of the rain. It was a slow process because the weather would not cooperate. But it the end product is beautiful! Not only did we get a new roof, it will also help with water drainage as before with 3 layers the rain wasn't even going in the gutters, more over them because the drip edge was covering  3/4 of the gutter! The final cost was about 900 more than the estimate. They had to replace a lot of wood because the original layer wasn't built with a drip edge so all that wood had to be replaced around the perimeter of the roof. We had to replace the range hood vent as it was rusted through. The chimney had all new flashing and the wood around the chimney needed replaced and of course the extra labor for the 3rd layer of shingles. I am extremely happy with the result and this roof will last a lifetime!
