Plumber reviews in Mansfield

The technician said the problem was an electrical short in the very low-voltage ignition of our Whirlpool water heater. He said this was a Whirlpool design flaw and he had seen this problem before. I was a little skeptical about this, but since he insulated the problematic contacts the water heater no longer mysteriously shuts down. To take advantage of the cost of a service call, we also asked the technician to clean our gas-burner fireplace insert. This also was shutting down. This problem continued after the cleaning, so apparently it needs more than a cleaning, which in the past has resolved the problem.

*Calling numerous lawyers and masons each and everyday. Everyday! I will tell them each how terrible your mortar work guy is.... My lawyers need his last name to add it to the case btw. I will enjoy exposing you and your company for as long as I live. If you are a prospect of JOE BEHR pm me and I can I will share the photos of JOE BEHR WORK! I don’t want your money!!! I WANT JUSTICE!!! As of 2/26/18 Joe (Mike) Behr has continued to avoid his responsibilities to the damage his employees have caused to our home. I strongly urge anyone considering his work to look at his mortar work on my house first. Don’t worry Mike, I will have it resolved by a professional mason. I may call every mason in Richland County to give me a free estimate. I’ll ask each one if they think “Joe Behr’s” job needs to be re-done. Your rating is 0/10 with me. I suppose there is a reason why the business is called Joe Behr and not Mike Behr. Mike Behr’s word is as worthless as a screen door on a submarine. See you in court soon! COME TAKE PICTURES OF MY HOUSE AND PUT IT ON YOUR BILLBOARDS MIKE BEHR!!!!! You will take care of the destruction you and your crew created when you made it rain down my chimney. Top 10 worst decision of my life was to have you put a chimney liner in my house! That will be me legally standing out front of your business in Lexington Av me in Mansfield Ohio with a rat suit on protesting until it gets fixed correctly. The pictures and video speak a thousand words. Maybe I just get a new quote everyday to fix the damage. Show a new person in Mansfield each day... I’ll just ask them what they think of the work! Almost 15 years in the same house. No water problems in the basement. That is until Joe Behr put a Chimney liner in. Now it rains hard it floods down through the chimney. Because they put a different chimney cap on it and busted all of the mortar. When I notify them about that they blocked me. Why block me? Let me show the video of the water damage you caused that ruined my house. You are going to fix it. There is a 100% chance we will be in court if you do not own up to it! Whether you block me or not.

The company set up a time for prompt repair, which was then done on time, quickly and efficiently. The cost for labor was $85 and for parts about $20. I think their labor and travel times runs about $65 an hour.

The serviceman came out and while I had purchased repair options, he said they were not exactly what I needed. He evaluated my problems and gave repair solutions for what I actually had problems with. I'm very happy that he was honest in what was really the problem instead of just doing the job that did not need done. I will certainly be using the Eco Plumbers for any future services as they were very helpful to educate me on my needs instead of just "doing the job".

The work was difficult since the pipe was broken down close to the slab. The H&H plumber arrived soon after I called. He was professional, did an excellent job and was in and out quickly. The price was as quoted, which I think was $106 an hour, with a one-hour minimum. If I remember correctly, I have paid a lower hourly rate in the past for a different plumber, but that plumber was unavailable immediately and the work needed to be done immediately so I could turn water back on for the house. I also have paid a higher hourly rate for immediate plumbing work with a yet a different company.

Time was pushed back from originally 2-4 to 12-2 to 10:30. Inconvenient considering I had a toddler to watch. The man arrived, a five minute diagnosis to determine that I needed a new hot water heater. He had no idea what it would cost me to install a common size tank and went to his van for roughly 10-15 minutes. I relied on the reviews here and was shocked at a quote of nearly $1200 for a 40 gal tank. Ridiculous. No other options given. I asked what labor alone would be if I supplied the tank. They don't do that, he said. Plumber said they charge $125 for a $30 permit. He then said an expansion bladder was included in the price. I did not require an expansion bladder. I do not know how Jon's obtained an "A" rating because I read "rip off". The plumber had this attitude that I was playing some game and would pony up the amount for the tank. They charged me $110 to come to my house. I had my tank professionally installed with ANOTHER company for a total of $525.

He made three attempts to correct the leak but unfortunately was unable to accurately diagnose the problem and his various solutions were unsuccessful in stopping the leak. He has done other services for us just fine but unfortunately this particular issue left him stumped.

The technician called in advance and said that he was going to be able to arrive earlier than originally planned. Fortunately, my wife was home and was able to meet him. By the time I got home from work, he had already finished everything and was about ready to leave. I discussed what he had found for a few minutes and he left. He found no issues and said that we were good to go for the season. I was very pleased with everything. Behr was less expensive than everyone else that we contacted and they did a great job! I will definitely utilize their services in the future!

The company worked me in the next day after I called. They quoted their minimum service call as being $65 for half an hour with additional charges for time beyond that. I forget how travel time was to be handled. The workers arrived on time. They were pleasant and professional, and worked quickly. The work was done well. I  was pleased that the bill when it arrived was just the $65 minimum.

Was an interesting experience, took over a week to do the work and usually done in the evenings (from about "dusk" on), had a few days with no water on (so no toilet or other water based facilities available). But I can not complain at all about the end result. Have a fully functional kitchen sink (even if it seems to run at about 50% of the pressure of the sink or bathtub upstairs), have a bathroom sink that does not leak into the kitchen below, and finally have a bathtub that does not have a leaking faucet. Work was to be completed by the end of day on the 14th, but instead was finished by the end of day on the 15th (not unusual for such delays from a plumber, in my experience). But I have absolutely no complaints to the quality of the work or the quality of the parts used in the repairs.
