I thought it was a reasonable amount of money for the office call and they'd take us whenever we have an issue. We had a great experience and we would highly recommend them. They have caring professionals there and their staff is amazing and we're very pleased.

    Dr. Bob Dahlhausen
We had both a great and a terrible experience with Dr. Dahlhausen. After taking our rabbit to our regular vet who had very little expertise with rabbits and thought there was not much they could do with our rabbit, we got a second opinion from Dr. Dahlhausen. They were able to give him medicine that unclogged his stomach and gave us another year with our rabbit. They saved his life for a year. Flash forward a year and we have a cruise scheduled so we ask if we can drop our rabbit off to be cared for and give him more of the medicine to make sure his stomach is not clogged. They mention that Dr. Dahlhausen is on vacation but they can still watch our rabbit. When we call while on the cruise, they forgot that our rabbit was even in their care. When we picked him up, he had basically been starved, wasn't eating, and we had to take him to a third vet to get pumped full of liquids and checked out. The third vet called it neglect. He died a week later. We have little doubt that they contributed to our rabbits death. People make mistakes...but this was beyond a mistake. May God forgive them.

I like the friendliness of the veterinary staff and the care that they've given my animals has been topnotch. Dr. Goodman is very caring and very personable. She is just so good with the animals. She's just excellent. Their pricing is expensive. Quality veterinary care is costly. Because they give quality care, sometimes you're there for your appointment and they are still tied up with the previous patient but if it's your turn, you'll understand that. She takes equal amount of time with you so she runs behind a little bit.

We took our dog in for an evaluation on a cyst he had on his hip. They scheduled surgery immediately and did a great job removing it. They cleaned his teeth while he was under as well. They did x-rays and tested the lump they removed. They were very thorough in treatment and testing. Provided 2 follow up appointments at no additional charge.

Annual exam and vaccines for my dog. Also, got a 1 year supply of heartworm medication. Charges for exam and vaccines were reasonable. Charge for heartworm medication was twice what I'm used to paying! May be that Heartgard is more expensive than other brands I've used in the past (Interceptor, Iverhart). ||Vet explained everything he was doing during the exam which I liked.

Our cat has gone to King's since 9-2010; he has been boarded there in the past.
During the intake process, I presented the staff member with a printed Information Sheet about our cat; she immediately shoved it under the Hospital's forms, seemingly without a glance. I specifically told the staff member that the days on which he was to get canned pumpkin were printed and highlighted on his Information Sheet; I don't recall her even looking at it. I also requested that his anal sac be expressed.
When we came to pick up our cat on 7-20-2013, I specifically asked if the anal sac expression had been performed. A number of staff members were asked but NO ONE KNEW. I was told that perhaps an and quot;absentand quot; staff member performed this task. The charge ($23) was posted to the bill and I reluctantly paid the charge giving them the benefit of the doubt.
About an hour and a half ater we arrived home, I received a call from one of the King's staff who stated that the sac expression had NOT been performed. My initial response was and quot; You had him (our cat) for 2 weeksand quot;. She stated that we could bring him back for the service; I stated that I did not feel it was my responsibility to make another trip to the facility and re-traumatize our cat as he recovers very slowly from vet visits. She then offered a credit to our account or credit card. Since I don't want my credit card info in their computer, I opted for a Hospital credit (for now). Lastly, I asked the staff member to whom I may address my concerns; she told me to address them to the owner of the Hospital and and quot;He will get to the bottom of thingsand quot;.
Upon looking over the paperwork from his stay, I read that not only was he not given pumpkin according to my schedule, he exhausted the supply of pumpkin I brought by the 12th; if my schedule had been followed, he would have had enough. Under the heading of and quot;Services Performedand quot; was and quot;Anal Sac Expressionand quot; which was a flat-out lie. I have lost trust and faith in this provider where pets are allegedly and quot;treated like royaltyand quot;. I feel angry that my directions for him getting pumpkin was not followed. He was doing well on my schedule (per vet's recommendation); since he's been home he is less enthusiastic about his pumpkin.
I composed a letter to the owner of this facility along with copies of my cat's 2013 Information Sheet (highlighted as given to the intake staff member) and the Billing/Boarding Summary. It was put in the mail on 7-24-2013. I have not heard from the owner as of this date.

The visit went very well.  I called on Friday, and the staff was able to schedule my appointment for Monday.  The office staff was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Abrams was very personable and knowledgeable.  My neighbor had been taking her dogs to him for years, and highly recommended him, and now I know why.

They are professional and great with handling both cats and dogs. When we had to put our dog down, they were very understanding and concerned about our feelings. They were great with the dog and with us. We are getting a new dog soon and we willing take it there.

You can trust them to be excellent. With that confidence you can justify the price. They have a lovely new facility. I take my cats here for boarding. I trust them completely. They are very good. They are a little pricey, but worth it.

My Goffins Cockatoo's toe had been bitten by another bird.  The last digit was damaged and there was no way for it to heal correctly.  Dr. Hill suggested removing it.  Dropped the bird off and the next day he was ready to go home.  If you need a good vet to take care of your bird this is the place to go.  I have use Dr Hill several times and always get great service.
