There were a lot of corners cut on the roof and siding when this house was built and those problems have been taken care of now which is a relief. I spent a lot of time researching and talking to 6 different companies before I made a decision. My goal was to never replace the roof or siding on this house again no matter how long I decide to live here so it was important to me that it was done right and I was worried about it. I had a lot of questions and requested some changes plus there are always extra things that creep up and need to be addressed that have nothing to do with the primary job like fixing the deck flashing. Gary, Dave and crew were patient, professional, knowledgeable and reliable. Communication was really good. All of my concerns and extras were addressed without me having to ask again or give reminders. Timeline was good. Cleanup was good. Price was good. I am impressed with the way this company operates. I tried several other local roofing companies but either they did not show up for an estimate or after giving me an estimate they did not show up to do the work. With the Fall Season coming on, I needed someone to help me out before the Winter came. I checked Angie's list and called "Home Exteriors - The Window, Siding and Roofing Experts." One of their Sales Representatives, Gary, came to my house, wrote up a detailed Installment Contract with final price and he assured me his Roofing and Gutter Crews would be out to take care of my roof. I must admit, I had some doubts about them showing up, due the poor experiences I had with prior contractors. I received a call several weeks later letting me know that the Roofing Crew would start work on the coming Monday. I took some time off during lunch on that Monday to drive by my house to see how the work was going. I did not stop to speak with anyone, I just wanted to see how they were progressing. When I got to my house, I was amazed at the number of guys that were working and how efficient and organized they were. True professionals that really worked well together. I went back to work and when I came home later in the evening, the equipment and supplies they needed to finish the job were neatly organized and the entire yard was cleaned up. When I came home on Tuesday, their work was done. The roof and flashing looked perfect and my entire property was cleaned up, no debris anywhere. The technicians that installed the gutters came several days later. They took off the old gutters and installed seamless gutters in a couple of hours. The work was done quickly, everything looks even, no leaks, perfect!!! I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a replacement roof. We compared 5 contractors before selecting Home Exteriors. We believe price and quality workmanship would have been comparable but what differentiated Home Exteriors was the value of the materials used, better for the same price as other contractors. The professionalism of each of his crews was fantastic and they all did a careful cleanup after each phase of the job. The quality of workmanship exceed my expectations because they caught things that I wasn’t looking for, and I’m rather picky. After the job was done, there were a few minor things missed and Gary sent someone promptly to take care of them. We made a great decision to select Home Exteriors and we highly recommend them to anyone interested in siding, roofing, gutters, and downspouts.- Juliano R.

AHome Exteriors Roofing, Siding and WindowsHE replaced my roof, skylight and gutters in the fall of 2019. I've now weathered winter and spring with absolutely no problems. They were professional and worked with me on adding a solar tunnel in the bathroom and a vent cap so I could have a range hood vented thru the roof. The crew of 4-5 people got the job done within a week, even with a rain delay! I got 3 estimates for the job and sought the input of my insurance agent. HE's written estimate was comprehensive in the work to be done, and the cost. The other two lumped everything together; one told me he would do the job, no written specifics, for whatever the insurance company would pay. I gladly recommend the services of Home Exteriors. FRyan, apparently owners son, came and gave estimate said to call if I had questions, I called couple days later to ask a couple final questions and hire them. I left a message telling him that. Did not hear back so waited until next day and I called him again, he answered (rudely) saying he was with a customer and would call me right back. I waited 3 hours he failed to call me back so I called and left him another message that I really wanted to get my roof taken care of. Three days passed, he never returned my call. I have since hired someone else. At this point I do not care what the reason or problem this company had. That is horrible business and should not be on your list of reputable businesses.

AI need to replace the front entry door due to water leaking to my basement. I quoted couple of companies and some are not even showing up because the covid. Finally I choose Home Exteriors with great review and Dave is my salesman. During the pandemic windows and door manufacture get delayed, but I still gave Dave's team thump up for installation. They came to install windows and door in 25 F weather and spent most of time outside. They are professional, meet all my requests and focus all the detail. Clean everything after wrap up.

AI chose Ken’s Parkhill Roofing because they were highly recommended by the city inspector and also by a respected general contractor. John arrived within a few days of my call to write the estimate. The owner, Ken, honored my timetable for the job. The crew arrived promptly each day and worked continuously with only a break for lunch. John, Greg, Shannon, and crew were very professional and answered all my questions. Along with the new roof, Parkhill installed three ridge vents and the corresponding smart (soffit) vents, replaced several areas of rotted plywood, and installed and connected a bathroom exhaust vent. Due to the roofline configuration, the roof, vent, and gutter/downspout installation was very tedious, but the 10-man, 6-truck crew did a great job. They also installed an additional downspout in the area above the front door, which seems to have resolved a water issue in the basement directly underneath - an unexpected bonus! The work took three days to complete, two for the roof and one for the gutters, gutter guards and downspouts. The crew did a thorough clean-up each day. Ken called personally after the job was completed to make sure I had no concerns. After several heavy rainstorms and a big snowstorm, there are no leaks. I highly recommend Parkhill and would hire them again.

Then no quote. Then a phone call and excuses and no quote. A complete waste of my time. Just straight up tell me you are too busy and save me the frustration!
