    Mightier Shed
After reading all of Mightier Shed reviews I was ready for a barn. Placed a call to Reggi and after a short delay, received a message back. Called again and made arrangements for a time to make a sight visit. No show first time. Called Reggi back, apologies, and accommodated his schedule taking a day off work for his site visit. No show, no call. Waited two weeks, called Reggi back for explanation, left message no call back in days. Contractors can be interesting to deal with when juggling schedules, we all understand that. Not calling customers back, no show for multiple appointments and, at least, no call back for apologies or explanation, that's just inexcusable. I called a competitor who showed up promptly the next day, gave a bid and discount, and spec'd a date 3 weeks out to begin work. I would not consider working with Mightier Shed.

    Hoelle Construction & Maintenance
We bought a 30+ year old house that had been neglected.  It was filthy, (mice living in the kitchen cabinets, disgusting carpet, etc.) and really needed updating.  The small number of updates made were cheaply done and horribly designed.  We had 3 companies come out to give estimates to remodel.  We wanted multiple walls removed, a complete remodel of the kitchen and master bath, all new flooring on the main floor, and a stone fireplace (upgraded from old green tile) remodel. One guy came in and was  a little salemanish, had all these ideas but then never submitted a quote.  Almost felt that job may have been too big for him. The second guy seemed knowledgable, was personable but maybe a little less professional and quoted significantly higher than Darren.  Darren was clearly very knowledgable in construction. He's a focused guy, kinda all business but good at what he does. He was the only one who called out all the problems we would have by removing one of the main walls we wanted to remove.  He showed us based on the thickness of the wall and what was above it and below it that all our ductwork for the upstairs was running in that wall. And the only choice would be to re-route the ductwork to an exterior wall which he would not do from an energy efficiency standpoint...and I believe code. He didn't tell us what we wanted to hear to get the job, he basically said we'd be in a lot of trouble trying to take down that wall and really didn't want to quote it.  We really appreciated saved us a ton of money and headache had we attempted it.
We committed to the job in late March I believe and told him we wanted it started the first of May right after we closed on the house. My family was moving up from NC at the beginning of June and the moving truck would be hitting at that time.  We wanted everything possible done before that.  He said everything but countertops and some finishing touches would be done in that time and he delivered.
    - gutted
    - tore out half wall
    - tore out soffits
    - new 42" cabinets and new island/lower cabinets- moved dishwasher into island at our request due to layout (otherwise would have had stove, dishwasher and sink all right next to each other...3 appliances in a row)
    - pendant lights above island
    - backsplash
    - installed recessed lighting
    - installed appliances, sink, disposal
    - vented microwave to outside
    - quartz counters
    Mater Bath
    - gutted
    - removed wall between shower room and sink room to open space
    - re-routed plumbing to move toilet over about 12 inches so shower could be widened
    - installed all tile shower
    - installed vanity/sink
    - installed lighting
    - removed old green tile fireplace surround with about a 15 foot long hearth!
    - re-routed HVAC register against wall after removing the giant hearth
    - installed all new stacked stone to ceiling and new hearth
    - installed a cedar beam mantle
    - installed all new 3/4" hardwood floors in main floor (subbed to Dowling Flooring.  Brian Dowling a great guy and good at what he does
    - installed laminate type flooring in laundry room and breezeway (kind of like a big mud room between our garage and our house)
In addition to removing the half walls, removed a load bearing wall, opening up our dining room and installed a beam for proper structural support.
Darren is a very focused individual and professional.  He and his crew were on time, on site every day working and clearly committed to my job.  Got everything done on the timeline promised.  With Darren you get an expert in construction but not a design professional.  He may have help in that area for someone who doesn't know what they want but we knew what we wanted from a materials standpoint and design standpoint.  And he did have good input on some design elements when we weren't quite sure  Darren has suggested locations to purchases materials and gets them for you but you don't have to use his suggested vendors.  One tricky thing is the initial quote assumes $X for materials from certain vendors.  He specifies the amount allocated for materials for each "segment" of the project (i.e. kitchen, bath, flooring, fireplace).  I think some of the material estimates were a little low but we had an idea of what materials would cost so there weren't many surprises.  Make sure you understand what kind of quality materials you can get for the "allowance" built into the quote.  Some people may be perfectly happy with materials within that allowance but in some areas, we chose more expensive items.
All in all, very good experience.  I've been through several big projects and there's a lot of piece of mind when you know your guy is going to show up, how to handle the job and DO IT RIGHT!

    Primo Exteriors LLC
I had Lowes install my roof but had such a bad experience with them attempting to install my siding that I cancelled them. I was very cautious about employing a new siding company but James put me totally at ease. He took a long time checking over my house and even took the trouble to go onto the roof and inform me about some of the tiles that Lowes had not installed properly. He also managed to find the perfect blue siding color that I wanted at a good price. He said the siding installation would be done before Christmas and was true to his word. Archie and his team, Jeremiah and Robin took great pride in their work. They were extremely professional and kept me updated at all times which was a huge relief after my Lowes fiasco. Archie checked my previously installed windows were set correctly and they ended up trimming them so they looked finished. They even installed my lights and doorbell for me! The project couldn't have gone more smoothly and I am overjoyed with the result. My home is transformed and I certainly have the nicest looking house in the neighborhood. Thank you Primo!!

    Home Solutions Handyman
As of 12/3/2014 there has been no additional moisture noticed on the drywall in the bedroom. It is safe
to say the leak has been successfully repaired. The drywall cutout and repair ended up being about 18" x 18".
I would estimate the craftsman spent 4 hrs. of total onsite time for this project. If you do the math the cost of this project
    was over $200 per hr.
The materials used where common items such as caulking, drywall compound, drywall tape and sandpaper.
Their handheld credit card reader did not work so it took more time than expected for payment.

It was a wonderful experience. He is very professional and ethical. If there is a problem he works to solve it as soon as possible. He is a really neat person to deal with. He is funny and has a great personality. He is always accessible to his customers.

The work was done professionally and in a fairly short time, given the size of the barn.
The result looks good, and seems to be solidly built. (I am no engineer, and cannot get on the top of the structure in any case.)
The yard was always kept clean of debris, save for an agreed upon debris pile for the old wood that can be safely burned.
I gave them a and quot;Band quot; for price. Timberline is certainly not the cheapest alternative in this area, but the barns they build look much better than the generic pole barns offered by some of the big-name concerns. For value received, they get an and quot;A.and quot; I would hire them again for a repair or a new build.

    Shed-I-Master Sheds
We are very pleased with our new shed. From the time I first contacted John to the time they were finished building the shed things moved with amazing speed and efficiency, especially considering that they already had other projects scheduled ahead of ours. On the morning they arrived to build the shed they went right to work and before we knew it they had the floor down and were ready to put up the walls. We took pictures throughout the day so we could remember the entire process. By late afternoon/early evening they were completely finished and were cleaning up the area preparing to leave (this is one of the larger sheds they typically build). John has everything pre-cut to size enabling him and his crew a very fast method of constructing these sheds. I would not hesitate to employ John and his crew again and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to hire out for a similar project. Also his pricing, as you can see on his website, is very inexpensive compared to competitors.
