During the process of our relocation to SC, I suffered a severe injury that required surgery and prevented us from going back to retrieve our dogs from the kennel for what would have been several weeks. I searched for options online and found P.ET.S. I had no idea such a service existed, but the more I researched this option, the more comfortable we felt. We talked with Mike, and we were instantly confident that our dogs would be in good hands. The driver, Cody, arrived at the kennels Monday am as promised, and he was actually there when the kennel opened. He kept us informed on how the drive across country was going and even sent pictures of our dogs comfortably curled up in his back seat and enjoying the ride! Cody arrived in Spartanburg, SC Tuesday afternoon as promised, and our dogs were happy, healthy, and affectionate toward him. That told us that they were well treated along the way. If we ever need this service again, we will use P.E.T.S. without a doubt! This was so much less traumatizing for our spoiled puppies than air cargo would have been, and the quality of the people (true pet lovers) only heightened the experience.

The cost was very reasonable for what they were doing. It would have been $600, but that's not an addition to the squirrel traps. It was $600 minus the squirrel traps, since the traps didn't work they put the tubes up and subtracted out the squirrel traps.

It was wonderful.  They don't have a physical location (they are a network of foster homes) but when we wanted to see some dogs, they arranged for us to meet them at a shelter with an outdoor run space we could play with them.  We met five different dogs before we found the one that matched us perfectly. They transported him to our house.  He came to us happy and healthy.  We took him to the vet soon after and the vet said he'd been very well taken care of and was very healthy. We got paperwork for him with all his updated shots and rabies tags.  They also send us copies of everything we needed in the mail.  We also got a Christmas card from them! I had questions about our dog after he came home with us and the foster mom has been GREAT at answering any and all questions I had.  She has made herself available even after the adoption.  Our dog came to us with FANTASTIC manners.  He is house broken and can sit on command and is so well behaved.  Its a great tribute to how well the foster mom did raising him!   I can't go on enough about how much me and my fiance love this agency! Do not miss the chance to get a dog from them!

It was a great experience. They have a really nice facility, very clean. People who works there seem very loving and it is a pretty large facility. There are lot of people who are there. We would absolutely use them again.

AFHS is a great organization for those looking to adopt an animal. They provide spay/neuter services, as well as microchipping, for their animals before they are adopted out, so the adoption fee is great, as it includes those services already being done. After working at a vets office for 6 years, those individual services are more costly than the adoption fee. I adopted an 8 week old kitten through them, and he is healthy and doing great. They ensured all of my contact information was correct for the microchip company, should the kitten get out/run away, for a quick return when the animal would be found. They are eager to help homeless animals and do everything they can to help those helpless animals!

They first have the cat neutered, and then they put him for adoption because that's what they do. Then when I was looking at the cat, I kind of fell in love with him. I then brought him home. In addition, I worked with a big store and arranged for them the parts of the October safety event. They set up a display, and had cats there, so the people could adopt. They were great. I paid for the neutering, but it was like the cost. I also paid for all of the cat's shots. It was a great value. They also find feral cats. They grab them, they neuter them, and then they release them, so they could breed. It is a great organization and it is mostly volunteers. They do a great job saving the cats from being destroyed and getting them ready for adoption. They were very efficient. They were quite helpful and informative. They even referred me to some vets if I need any more work.

It was wonderful. It was large; it was clean as a whistle. It was kind of out in the country with a pond around it and swans and geese swimming up the pond. The people there are extremely nice, and you can tell by the way they act and the way they talk they love the animals. We went all the way through the shelter looking at the other animals; we'd pretty much decided which one we wanted so we just wanted to see how they are. They take great care in those animals and really care about them. Our puppy that we got had several shots and they are very careful about who they adopt the pets out to and gave us very clear instructions and lots of paperwork and had us promise that we'll spay or neuter and we signed an agreement that we'll do that by a certain time. When we took him to the vet yesterday he was healthy as could be. There was nothing wrong with him; he didn't have any sort of parasites or anything like that. There was nothing, not a thing wrong with him so we know they take really good care. Great place! He was a donated puppy from a breeder of little fancy dogs. He was a couple hundred dollars because he was a little fancier breed. He came with all of his shots.

    Hart Animal Rescue
The folks at Hart Rescue are very passionate about animal rescue, and work as volunteers. They do not have a building, but rather use foster parent services to house their animals until a suitable home is found. We met our rescue dog Sasha through Lyle and his wife Amy, and it was love at first sight! She has been a wonderful dog, and Hart rescue followed through on all the things they said they would do in terms of fixing her, shots, and putting in an RF chip. They have followed up to see how we are all doing, and working with them them has been a pleasure. We will definitely use them again in the future!

I thought it was a reasonable amount of money for the office call and they'd take us whenever we have an issue. We had a great experience and we would highly recommend them. They have caring professionals there and their staff is amazing and we're very pleased.
