    I scheduled appt with Sal's for May 29, 2015

    Tech Matt B called approx 1/2 hour prior to let me know he was on his way.

    He was polite, pleasant, courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, hard working and an asset to the company,  as has been the case each time with every tech who has come to the house. 

    Sal's has done the furnace and a/c checks for the last year or  two, and every visit has been outstanding. I recommend Sal's to anyone looking for honesty and integrity in a provider.

    I purchased 2 Big Deals for Sal's-one for myself and one for a gift. Each was for a furnace check and an A/C check. We each chose to have the furnace checked in Dec 2013, and will have the A/C checked in the spring. The entire process beginning with scheduling the appt, through the service call was flawless. The tech Brian Ewolski was knowledgeable, professional and courteous, explaining the process and answering all questions re the furnace, as well as questions re water tanks. I recommend Sal's to anyone who will listen.

    I called the office shortly after 8 in the morning and talked to Vicky (who answered the phone so nicely it literally made me smile) I told her I was having problems with my ancient boiler geting heat to the top floor of my triplex. She said sje could have Rod come out in a few hours that he would call me when he was on his way. He did about three hours later. He came in, was very nice, polite and was more than happy to explain everything he was doing to me (since I just aquired the building not too long ago and have no clue about anything that has to do with the boiler) and gave me prices on what to expect. Spent approximately 2 hours at the building running up and down the stairs trying to figure out why things weren't moving the way they should. Once the pilot was cleaned everything began working as it should. He was even able to quickly fix the thermostat in the 1st floor unit, which wasn't even part of the original call.

    THEY MAYED ALOT OF ATTEMPTS TO GET OLD PUMP TO WORK. IT WAS UNSUCESSFUL. COMPANY DID APPLY ANY MONIES SPENT ON REPAIR OF THE OLD HEAT PUMP TO THE NEW ONE. DON'T THINK TO MANY COMPANIES WOULD DO THIS. WE HAD A FEW CANCELATIONS DUE TO OTHER JOBS THAT TOOK LONGER DUE THEN EXPECTED. REPAIRMEN WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND DID CLEAN UP AFTER THE JOB.

    I purchased 3 Angie's list Big Deal coupons for Sal's Heating and Cooling.  I called and made the appt and the service call was made on the scheduled day . Technician Jeff was very polite and respectful, and even though it was the end of a very long workday for him (we are about 60 miles from the business location), he treated our call as though it was the first call of the day.  Jeff worked professionally and diligently. Sal's and his mother should be very proud. I used all three big deal coupons for same service call: one for furnace, one for AC, and third for water heater.  I plan on calling Sal's in future for all furnace/AC needs.

    The workers arrived in the morning to start dismantling the old gravity furnace. Even though the furnace and duct work were very big and dirty to remove, the workers were careful while taking the parts out of the house so the dirt wasn't tracked badly throughout it. The most dirty areas were the the basement floor and steps. The furnace and A/C were installed within the time frame projected. After summer passed and autumn arrived, the furnace was turned on after which time there was water discovered underneath the furnace. Wyles was called in to look at it and have ordered the part for it. It turns out that a part in the furnace was not quite right because of the assembly at the factory.

    They are honest and reliable. They don’t overcharge. I actually found them from a friend of mine. When I called them out, I thought they were real reasonable. My daughter’s air conditioning was not working, their cooling unit was not working; he went downstairs and then he went outside and the unit was stuffed with leaves, so that really all it was. He showed her what the problem was. Others would have charged us $70 or something saying a part had to be replaced, and we would have never known, so we were shocked when we found out it was only that. They are trustworthy.
