    Of course I had a difficult challenge - diagnosing and possibly finding a part for a vintage 1971 GE drop in range. The oven has stopped heating, and it was right before Thanksgiving. The office staff were polite and helpful, and scheduled an appointment for a technician, as soon as they had an opening, which was after the holiday. He arrived promptly and spent a good amount of time carefully finding the problem. He was experienced and professional. Next, we needed a new part. After a call back to the office to check if GE still made the part (they did not), the gentleman said they would do a "nation-wide search" to see if the part was at all available. We paid the charge for the repair call (about $84.00). After a few days, I called back to the office to see how the part search was going, and was told the repairman himself would follow up with us. We had done our own online search and did see the part may be available or a replacement part, probably for a high cost. Nonetheless, we waited for the final call to hear our options. That call did not come through - thus the B rating. Would have liked at least a call back to find out if their search was or was not successful. Again, I understand this was a challenging situation, but we hoped to have had more options or a quick "no it's not available to us" thank you for doing business with us.

    I called on Saturday and scheduled an appointment. The appointment was for Tuesday from 8-noon. I got a call Tuesday morning saying they made a mistake and that they would be there from noon to 5p.m. No big deal. The technician showed up after 5:30pm. He tried to call LG and since it was after hours they were not there. He said he would call Wednesday morning. I heard nothing all day Wednesday. I called on Thursday and they said the technician would be there Friday from noon to 5pm. The technician never showed on Friday. Now it's been a week since I called them and no working refrigerator. The company called the technician on Monday and he admitted that he neither called nor showed up on Friday to work on our refrigerator. I proceeded to fire them Monday morning and called another refrigerator repair company. I would not even call them again. Overall it was horrible customer service.

    Jim was great. He came the day before and diagnosed the problem in my kitchen aid dishwasher. After discussing with my husband and deciding to repair the appliance. I called Jim back the next day for a complete cost estimate. He returned my call within a couple of hours with the estimate and made the repairs the same day. I was amazed and grateful for his prompt service. Dishwasher works like new.

    The service was excellent. My appointment was set up for the day after I called and that evening the repair man(owners son) called and said he was down the street and asked if I would like him to stop by. This was about 7:30 in the evening. He repaired the broken belt on my dryer in about 30 minutes and was very pleasant. Showed me how to repair the problem and said I was going to hate myself when I saw how easy it was. He was right but very cool about it. Very positive experience. Had no problem writing the check for this one.

    I called about warrantee service on a Whirlpool dryer. He explained that he could not do warrantee work and would have to charge me if he came out and that I would be better off going to Whirlpool. He then help me troubleshoot the appliance for 5 minutes, even knowing that he was not going to get any business. He was very helpful and informative. If I need a service call he will be the first one I will call.

    The man arrived and then called to tell us that he needed help and would like us to come out and help him. We were unavailable at the time. He failed to complete the job, and did not have anyone from his company come out to help. We actually pulled the stove ourselves and fixed the stove without their help. We called the company to tell them that we had fixed the problem by our self. They mailed a bill for work that was not completed, and they are lacking customer service skills.
