    It went okay. She got shaved down quite close, closer than usual. Nails are okay. When I went to pick her up , the groomer is addressing me from across the room. Dog had a hard time standing, will probably not be able to groom her much more. You will need to take her else where. I had informed the groomer before the service, that the dog had hip issues. Was told no problem, we will take care of her. Today I have an exhausted dog. It will take her a few days to recoup. I have been going to this Petsmart for several years. The groomers have done beautiful work. Now this Petsmart has had tremendous turnover, and is now barely busy. I have 2 more dogs to get groomed, I am going to have to go else where. Lacks professionalism and care.

    They did an excellent job and the price was below what we usually paid in the Lansing, Michigan area. We had just moved to Liberty Township, Ohio from Lansing Michigan area in May. Rocky's coat was thick do to the cooler weather. We took him to Elizabeth Pooch Pizazz. LLC. They blew out his undercoat. It looked like he lost about 20 pounds. PS: Most of his life, Rocky has been groomed about every 6 weeks.

         I recently took my dog to be groomed at this place of business, as I have for th last 4 years. I chatted with the groomer Shay the morning of th grooming and requested my dog to be shaved.
         When I arrived home I had received a pet report card stating that my dog was excellent, but that he was too difficult for the groomer and she would rather not shave my dog again.
         When I called the next morning to find out what happened, the groomer was rude and complained for several minutes about how she has no groomer's help and that my dog would not get on the table. She said she had to kneel on the floor and recently had knee surgery. She also stated that she ruined her clippers on my dog and that it would cost her $30 to replace them. She then proceeded to tell me, in her professional opinion, that my dog should never be shaved. When I tried to explain why we shave him, she cut me off and stated the same thing again. I told her that it was not her decision and the on she hung up on me. When I called back and asked to speak to a manager, she accused me of verbally harassing her and told me never to call back.
         I have never dealt with such a rude person. If she had issues with shaving my dog, she should have said something. Suffice to say, I will be taking my $80 elsewhere.

    They are good at what they do. They do good quality grooming. They seem to take good care of the dogs. They treat them like their own. My dog is old and I just feel confident that when I take her there that she is going to be cared for properly.

    They did not call The correct number for me to pick up my dog. When I called them after several hours, they said they had left message on my answering Machine. Unfortunately for my dog, they called the wrong number and left a message. They did not call the cell number they have listed for me. My dog stayed there
    For 5 hours--spending hours in a cage. I emailed petsmart but have not received a response other than they would send info to petsmart at VOA. I have never heard from them. I would Not my dog there again.

    I found Elizabeth on Angie's List and read the great reviews.  She was absolutely excellent!  I have a 5 month old Labradoodle who went in looking like a kid who played outside too long and came out absolutely beautiful!  And they got me in very quickly.  We will definitely have Bella groomed there in the future.  I also love the before and after pictures they take - their "photo shoot"!   You should definitely try them out.

    Elizabeth's Pooch Pizazz is great!   I used to take my dog to one of those big chain pet stores for his grooming, and Elizabeth is SO MUCH BETTER!  My dog is always happy to go and he always comes back looking and smelling great!

    I really don't understand what happened between the time I met with Debbie to discuss my pet and the time I actually went to the shop on her grooming day, but it was 2 totally different experiences.  I had explained to Debbie that I was really concerned that this be a good experience for my puppy since she is a standard poodle who will have to be groomed frequently for her entire life.  I wanted the first time to be low stress and a positive experience.  I should have left when I realized that I had been lied to the previous week about why my appointment was canceled.  
    Debbie was short with me from the beginning.  I could just kick myself, because I could tell she wasn't really listening to me, but instead assuming she already knew what I wanted.  I asked her not to cut my dog's tail or ears.  Of course she cut her tail short anyway.  I was waiting in the lobby while my pet was being groomed and could see that Debbie was brushing her really aggressively without any concern for how the dog was doing.  The assistant kept saying that my dog was doing well for her first time, but Debbie was impatient and stern and seemed annoyed with my poor puppy.  She didn't utter one word of encouragement or attempt to soothe the poor dog.  In fact the only word she said to the dog the whole time was a stern "NO"  When she was done I took my dog outside and started to think about how I could trim up her face myself when we got home.  I decided that after paying $80.00 and leaving a tip...(I know, sometimes I am an idiot who still worries about being nice even when I am unhappy) I really ought to go back in and have her face trimmed the way I wanted it.  (She looked like a Schnauzer.)  When I apologized all over myself and took responsibility for the misunderstanding, Debbie put my baby back on the table with a cold, defensive attitude and fixed her face.   I can't help but wonder how pets are treated when the pet's owner isn't waiting in the lobby.  I would also think that someone would be a little more patient their first appointment of the day.  How are the pets treated at the end of a long day?  This was a miserable experience and truthfully I wouldn't have cared about the mis-communications, ie cutting her tail short etc..., if my pet was treated with kindness and patience.  I am just hoping that she won't be wary of the next groomer because of this experience.

    We have used Elizabeth since she opened her doors to Pooch Pizazz (and before).  We used several different groomers prior to finding her and were never happy.  Elizabeth and her staff are very professional and listen to what you want for your pet.  Her shop is clean and inviting and they honestly care about your pets comfort.  I would highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone.

    Pooch Pizazz did an excellent job on my papillon . She is a very jittery dog and they seemed to have no problems - she was very calm when I picked her up. And she looked adorable!

    I would definitely take her back to Pooch Pizzaz for future grooming.
