    A Budget Appliance Repair
Called and left a message indicating the problem. Received a return call after technician finished for the day. He advised that repair would be more costly than replacing machine due to the type of machine and the description of problem. I agreed with his assessment.

    Advanced Refrigeration & Appliance Repair
It went great. He came out and completed the job the same day, on a Saturday. He did explain that I could purchase a new dryer for a little more. He wanted to be open and honest about repair cost vs replacement. I decided to go forward with the repair. It is nice for someone to explain choices even when it may be a loss of business for them.

    AUTHORIZED APPLIANCE REPAIR
Chris (he said he was part owner of Co.) came to my home to repair my washing machine. He explained the direct drive required a new gear and he also replaced the gears in the agitator. he was at my home for less than one hour, about 45 minutes to be exact and explained he had the parts already within his van. I began looking up the parts online to see how much this would all cost. The direct drive gears were less than 20$ and the agitator gears and replacement kit was 11$. So lets just say I was really suprised when he charged me 375$ to put in 31$ of parts. So I guess what I am saying is that it will cost you about 350$ per hour for them to complete anything as it pertains to repairs on your appliances. they are crooks stay away! They still have not given me any explanation of why it costs so much, except that is how much it cost. I could have bought a new machine for that price.

    Mr. Appliance of Cincinnati
Unable to diagnose completely. Able to recreate the problem. During diagnosis, disconnected, reconnected all cables between panel and control module. Problem seemed to be resolved. Has been operating for 4wks without issue.

    American Home Shield Home Warranty
The most unprofessional service person we have encountered in 35 years of home ownership. He was in a hurry and obviously looking for a quick getaway. Did not even check out the unit. He found a broken piece at the disconnect and blamed me for the issue when I did not even know this part existed. Eventually a competent repair person (who I paid out of warranty) fixed the unit. The disconnect was not the problem at all. My 5 encounters with AHS repair persons suggests to me that they contract the least expensive option possible. We have had to replace 2 costly items at our own expense. This warranty is a waste of money on the part of the home seller. The game seems to be avoidance of replacing legitimate warranty items.

    Rippe Brothers Appliance Repair
This was a second home, power went out for a few days and ice melted down into the fan area. When the power came back on it froze blocking the fans, and also froze the access closed. Took a couple of hours crawling around underneath to get everything thawed out.

    Mr. Appliance of Cincinnati
Mr Appliance has an online scheduling tool which allows you to to determine when they can schedule a visit. Since they could come within 48 hours, much sooner than other A rated providers, I scheduled a visit. The Technician arrived on time. He was both personable and professional and quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty circuit breaker. I replaced the circuit breaker and the dryer was up and running that day. I was pleased with the Service provided and will use Mr Appliance in the future for my Appliance repair needs.

    AUTHORIZED APPLIANCE REPAIR
The guy charged us for a washer repair and explained all of the items that were broke and which items he was going to replace and repair. We were charged around 260$ for everything. I said ok go ahead for everything, when he was done the price was over 400$ due to additional parts he needed. Lets just say we were very upset with all of the problems with the price almost doubling. We paid and said goodbye to him, our washer worked. So two days later the same problem happened again, we called another company this time, a guy came out and we told him what happened. He explained that the authorized application repair guy did not replace any of the major parts he said he did on the form he gave us. He proved this by showing us the parts and the dry rot and use marks that would not be on a new part. So the new repair man took pity on us and explained it would be cheaper to buy a new washing machine. They stole 400$ from us! Dont use them!

    Day's Appliance Repair Co
They've done a couple of things for me. They've done a wonderful job. I think a service call with them...I honestly can't remember off the top of my head but I felt like it was very reasonable. I want to say like $60 or something, approximately. It was fine. I didn't have to pay anything but the service call because it was a very simple thing and he didn't charge me for it. They were there the same day I called. It was an Angie's List recommendation. They seemed like they were closer in the area so I went with them. In fact I've actually used them two more times. They also replaced a ice maker in my refrigerator and then they fixed my dishwasher again in April. I will continue to use them. I think of them very highly.
