AOhio Exteriors LLCRoofs were replaced on our large two story Georgian house and detached garage. A flat section on the house (a connector) had been previously replaced by another firm and was not replaced by Ohio. That other firm was not selected to do the work because of Ohio’s great responsiveness and knowledge shown in the quoting process. Ohio was priced slightly lower than that firm, but not the lowest among the three bidders. It all came down to trust. Ohio even ran our shingle selection through the approval process with our architectural review committee and got them approved for us. The shingles were on par with the quality of those already approved, but we’re less expensive. On the actual roof replacement, there were minor challenges with the dormer trim from the replacement work, which Ohio came back out and fixed within a couple of days. About a year later, there were some major wind challenges that blew off a couple of shingles on the vents and an animal pulled back some flashing to try to get into the attic, neither of which I would blame Ohio for. Ohio made those two separate trips out to fix those problems the next business day, even when the problem was not a roof replacement problem. I was impressed! Overall, we have been very pleased with our selection of Ohio Exteriors to replace our roof. We would definitely use them again and refer them to others. AOhio Exteriors LLCOhio Exteriors did an excellent job rebuilding an old screened-in porch on our 100-year old home. They were punctual and professional, and the quality of their work was excellent! They completely rebuilt the porch, put in new structural support cedar beams, installed new flat rubber roof, installed new stained-wood ceiling, hung two chandeliers, hung four ceiling fans, installed new screen door and all new screens, and painted the entire porch. AB&T Roofing LtdMy project included 20 square of shingles and a complete re-sheet. I worked with Todd to get a quote who was very thorough. He answered all my questions and was very personable. I then worked with a different Todd who was the foreman on the job who was just as efficient as the first. The project took a couple of days and I'm absolutely thrilled with the result. AOhio Exteriors LLCOhio Exteriors was a great company to work with. We have a complicated mansard roof with some unusual window boxes. They were able to add gabled roofs to our window boxes, relevel our gutters, add gutter guards, and reshingle our home, which included repairing damaged areas. We went with Ohio Exteriors because they were knowledgeable about what needed to be done on our roof, including fixing vents and checking on leak prone areas. They worked quickly and still did a great job. Their team is also incredibly friendly and responsive. I felt that they truly wanted to help me with my home as opposed to just making a sale.- Theresa R.

AAscent Roofing SolutionsThis firm was highly recommended by friends who knew of their reputation both for residential and commercial projects. We had a vaulted ceiling roof structure with construction that did not match original blueprints. Steve provided a competitive bid, and the crew they used was able to complete most of the work in one day, which included a number of decking panel replacements. Steve returned when we asked him to check a chimney vent (screened or not) and was able to put an extra cap we had over the vent which was not covered, somewhat of a surprise.- FREDERICK H.

AOhio Exteriors LLCOur roof was damaged in a December storm, and had to be replaced. Amado and his team completed the job in one (very cold) day. I the spring, we noticed that some of the shingles were not settled, because they were installed in a cold weather. Amado was very responsive. He came three times, fixed what needed to be fixed, and made sure that we were completely happy with the results.- Galit G.

FShane Mathany arrived at my mother's house on Friday, Jan. 29 and stated the leak around the chimney only required caulking. He completed the work that day and was paid $400. The leak continued so he made arrangements to be at her house Wednesday, Feb. 3. He did not show up and will not answer her calls. She now has more severe damage because of the shoddy work and poor customer service which is costing her a large amount of money. I would never use or recommend!

AKlaus Roofing did an excellent job on the new roof. From taping the seams and 6 ft up of underlayment protection from the edge, Valentine and his crew did a super job. He found the source of the leak from a previous roofer which screwed up the flashing. I was up on the roof during the day and could see they knew what they were doing. 30 year warranty

AWe called Brad because we had recently discovered water damage to the ceiling in our front hallway due to a long-standing leak. We assumed the water was getting in from the seam between a dormer and the roof. Brad searched high and low to find a leak before discovering the problem was with the siding and not the roof. He demonstrated to my husband how wind can lift the siding in one spot on the dormer driving in rain and eventually rotting some of the wood. Brad does not do siding but was able to caulk and fasten down the siding temporarily until we can get someone in to address the problem. Brad worked diligently for two hours to find the source of the water, searching carefully both on the roof and in the tight quarters of the access area to the dormer. I'm sure many others would have given up long before finding it. We were thrilled to get an answer to our problem even though we must continue our search for someone to repair it. It was money well spent.
