    I had called to get the fridge that stopped cooling. He was courteous on the phone showed up as promised and spent 10 -15 mts in and out, to tell me I need to replace my 5 year old French door refrigerator without diagnosing the problem correctly. Charged $89.95 + tax and walked away as I mentioned earlier in 15 mts to cash my check in the bank. I took his word and started searching for a new fridge. I couldn't digest the fact that a fridge could die completely beyond repair in 5 years. So as a second thought I called the factory tech and I should have done that in first place and saved 100$. BTW I did not replace my fridge, had it fixed by the factory tech for a fraction of new fridge cost.

    Easy was prompt, knowledgable, and professional. I called on 6/18 and he was able to be at the house the next day! The freezer was not completely freezing and the frig was not cooling. Easy determined we needed a fan motor replaced. He was able to get the work done within 2 hours.

    Brian had to troubleshoot a number of issues with our LG Washer. Replacing the gasket on our front load model was step one. As someone who works for a technology company, I understand and appreciate the challenges in troubleshooting issues that prevent a device (especially one that has a significant amount of electronics) from performing properly. Brian was very professional and was committed to resolving the issues. We will use Shamrock again for our appliance repairs.

    Sears Appliance Repair
    Our refrigerator was not getting cold, so I called customer service and was happy to be able to schedule a service at the same day, which was a very much surprise for me. I was calling them around 10:30am and the lady said she could schedule a service from 10am-2pm and said the technician should call me before arriving at my home. Hurrying up, I literally asked a half day off to go back home and waited, until I got the call from the same lady that there was no technician available today!!! It was such a unprofessional service! I don't know what was going on with their system. This is totally wasting customer's time and money without doing anything. Not even mentioned she was keeping selling me their warranty plan before the service starts...

    Andrew was very responsive to my initial call to him requesting service. A date/time was agreed to and he was very punctual, calling ahead of time before he arrived. We discussed my concerns that both ovens were not at the correct temperature (too low) at the time the preheat buzzer went off and that they just seemed to run low when I cooked in them. Andrew ran a timed test in both ovens noting when they were turned on, what the temperature was at the time the preheat signal when off and then recording the temperature at 10 minute intervals afterward. He provided us an explanation of how ovens determine temperature (air vs. mass) and why I might be seeing a lower temperature at first. He made some recommendations about wait times when preheating the oven and adjusted the oven thermostat. He was very generous with his time explaining what he was doing and why and then making sure we were knowledgeable about making future adjustments to the oven if needed. As a bonus, he also gave us some tips on our front-loading washing machine when I mentioned that we continued to battle the musty smell even with regular sanitizing and leaving the door open. Andrew was great. Wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any issues we had with appliances or advice on new ones.

    We had a bad washing machine, so I called Tim. Before we even set up an appointment, he tried to walk me through fixing the issue over the phone! He came out the next day, and diagnosed the problem with the washer. He informed me that it would be cheaper to just get a new washer, and gave me some handy tips for finding a good washing machine. I'll definitely call him the next time one of our appliances break!

    There were 3 parts that could be bad and each part cost about $250+. He could have replaced each part but was honest with us and said it was not worth it and we should contact Whirlpool. The company didn't charge us at all-not even the service fee. Very professional!

    Sears Appliance Repair
    The service man changed the sensor, cleaned the ice and provided 90 days warranty for the part. The refrigerator worked good for 90 days and again it started the same noise on 91st day. Called the sears service center and they said, it's out of warranty now. I have to pay again to change. Not sure the part worked or not. I bought the sensor online and changed using online videos. It costed less than $10 and 1.30 hours work.
