    Zimax Inc.
I made an appointment for Zimax to come out and give me a bid to finish my basement. I also submitted our initial plans to maximize the time spent. I had an appointment window 8~8:30am. This was my day off and I had other plans for the remainder of the day. The employee didn't show up on time, nor call to indicate he would be late. When I reached out to the office later in the morning (after 9am), I was finally contacted back with an excuse/apology and he indicated he would be there in 15~20 minutes. He indicated there was an issue with water in the basement and he had to take care of that first. I was under the impression it was his personal basement and gave him the okay to still come out as I understand how that can go. An hour later he still wasn't there. I received a text that it would be later in the morning at about 11am. Again, I was more than patient because I understand what it's like to have these types of issues. He still didn't show up by 11am as indicated in the text. He then asked if he could come later in the day and I let him know he could come after 2pm but to call first to be sure I would be home as I had an appointment that could not be rescheduled. At this point, I was just trying to not reschedule to another day as it would not be possible. At 4:30, I called the office again and let them know that I still haven't heard from the estimator. She apologized, explained it was due to another customer's issue with water in the basement and said she would have him reach out again. He called and said he could be out at 6pm. He never showed. No one from the company ever followed up at that point. This is not how I would expect a company to behave that has such a high rating in both Angie's list and Home Advisors. 1. They should have called before they were going to be late. 2. They should have been up front about the actual issues at hand and not imply they were on their way when they were clearly not. 3. I should not have had to call them more than once. 4. The company should have followed up with me once I reached out the final time after 7:30pm to let them know he never showed. Bottom line: Considering the issue they were experiencing, I should have been contacted first thing in the morning and offered the option of rescheduling.

Jeff was prompt and had all the equipment he needed to complete the tasks. The tasks I had mentioned to him through messaging were different than when he arrived because I wasn't able to get some supplies before he came. Jeff was flexible and worked with me. He installed a recessed light in a closet, he hung 2 mirrors over the double vanity, he put a final coat of drywall in the closet, he put the trim on two recessed lights already installed, he added studs across the ceiling and finished that project up for us in the kitchen area. Jeff was here all day, he was very polite, he was very knowledgeable and very professional.

AA Moore Basement Finishing & Remodeling
The job was on schedule from start to finish. We cannot say enough about Brad and his crew plus the folks that he contracted some of the work too.  Everyone that was here on the job were awesome. I would trust each and everyone of them with my worldly possessions. I must say that having as many as six men on the job at any one time using our bathroom, I could not believe how clean they left it.  We had three building inspections done during the two month period and all of them went great. We just can't say enough about AA Moore LLC, except that we highly recommend them.

Brad responded and came out right away to take measurements and provide estimate.  He returned estimate within a couple days.  After phone negotiation, we agreed on a price and he began work the next week.
He subcontracted the plumbing, egress window, and drywall.  They worked with Brad on several projects in the past and were as professional as Brad and his team.
He and his team of 3 did the bulk of the work. They were professional and courteous throughout the whole process.
During the time he worked on our house, we had a couple other things come up.  He ended up fixing our upstairs shower and ran cables for the tv in our living room too!
We installed carpet the week after he left.  As a result a few doors had to be trimmed so they opened/closed properly.  He was out within a few days to fix them no questions asked.
We would definitely use Brad again.  We cannot say enough about Brad and his team!

He did a beautiful job to my exact specifications (down to the type and placement of outlet/lights where I wanted them placed).  I was very specific on everything.  He was extremely accommodating making sure I was very happy. I  have since sold that house and am having him finish the basement in my new house.  That is how please I was from the first work he did.  We received many compliments on our first basement remodel. When we sold our house, we know the superior design and quality construction is what helped sell our house in 2 weeks.
I would highly recommend this contractor if you want to build a house or if you have any remodeling you want done.
Quality work!  Doesn't cut corners.  Superior service.

Outstanding work by a very talented and responsible craftsman. Sized the enclosure perfectly and made it look like it has always been a part of the kitchen. He made recommendations which turned out to be spot on for appearance and functionality. Very personable and professional. Highly recommended.

We had a limited budget, and they met our limitiations and did an excellent job for us. They were on time, they were professional, we were very happy with the finished product. They did subcontract out the drywalling, which was fine with us, though there were just a few areas on the drywall that had to be patched and one can tell if you look close enough. This does not bother us all that much as our finished area in the basement is mostly used for our kids, so it is subject to much worse and will need spackling and repainting once our children are older. We had a very decent allowance on carpet from a top-tier supplier in the area. We were (and are) very happy with the work which came at a tremendous value. We have recommended them to others and would use them again in the future.

AA Moore Basement Finishing & Remodeling
I called Brad Moore of AA Moore and told him a little about the project. He offered to stop by that day and look around before preparing an estimate. He came over at about 5 or 6ish to accommodate my schedule and chatted with me for about a half hour. His estimate was the first to come in of the three contractors I invited to estimate. He got his estimate to me in just two days. He called me up and said he'd like to present the estimate to me in person. We met that evening around 6 again and he walked me through his estimate line by line. He explained everything in great detail including what we were responsible for (not in the estimate) and even the approximate cost of those extra items. This was very much appreciated as it gave me better picture of the total overall cost. I was impressed in these first encounters with his willingness to meet with me. He really went the extra mile to present his estimate in person and walk me through everything. After that I had to wait about a week and a half for the remaining estimates to come in. In the end Brad's bid was the one we accepted and he agreed to start the following Monday morning. On Monday morning work started as promised and Brad quickly finished the framing, electrical, and insulation along with the inspections for each. He and his guys made great progress everyday and every morning Brad walked me through the schedule for that day. Drywall went up next. Brad sub-contracts drywall installation. These were the only subs used in the entire process. After drywall, Brad and his guys started doing finish work. They built a wonderful bar on top of a half wall. They also stained and hung some cabinets. The bar is definitely the best feature of the entire basement. Although not technically very sophisticated in it's construction, the end result is exactly what I was looking for. It looks a lot more expensive than it actually was. That's a real testament to Brad's craftsmanship. Brad finished the job on time and on budget. I'm very happy with the level of quality in the work and I won't hesitate to call him when I tackle my next remodeling job.

    Redesign & Renovation by Branham
It went so much better than we expected. Tim and Keith had so many great ideas to enhance our Ohio State theme! The carpentry was so professional looking and the display cabinetry looks gorgeous. It is such a fun space now for us to entertain or to just hang out. One of the best OSU themed basements I have ever seen and it's mine!

Tim Branham, owner, was very polite and patient, returned calls promptly. Was fair in his pricing and understanding about changes. Keith, Bob, Jason were very professional in their appearance, responds to questions and comments, excellent craftsman. Very detail oriented. Wanted the job done right. They were punctual and were conscientious about the appearance of the work site when they left for the day.
