    Melena Landscaping
Dan was available on very short notice for a quote and also for the service. He fit us in on the weekend because we were having an event at our house. He did an amazing job and everything I asked. We also had Dan landscape a rental property that we have. We got compliments from the neighbors about the job they did and how hard they worked. The neighbor wrote their number down for future reference. I highly recommend Melena Landscaping.

    In Every Season Services
Dealing with this company is a nightmare. It started off with them being a day late getting the job done and they did not even complete it. They said it would be $35 for a lawn mowing and trim it ended up being $50 and they did not do the trimming. I have been trying to get the owner to call me and he will only return the occasional text. So far the trimming has not been done. I would not recommend this company for anything. Very poorly run.

    George's Tree & Landscaping Services
Called on Friday and had estimate the next day. After waiting on others to submit bids, I decided to go with George (whose estimate was below the only other service to bid the project). We scheduled for the following Thursday. He came earlier than expected, but he and his crew went to work quickly. Tree stumps ground down below ground level and clean up was first rate. They were done in less than six hours. I would definitely hire again.

    Harrison's Pro Tree LLC
It went great. Denise came out and gave us an estimate, and explained a lot about tree removal and companies. They carry workman's comp as well as insurance, and that was important to us. If a worker gets injured in this dangerous job, from what I've read the homeowner can be at risk as an "employer". Some companies may cost a bit less if they don't have it, but we didn't want to take the risk. And, Harrison's came in lower than some other companies, I think for this huge job the price was very reasonable. They gave us ample notice and reminders, when the day came, the workers came out early with 2 cherry pickers and a chipper. They worked continuously for maybe 6 hours and cleaned up well afterwards. I would recommend and will use again if I need more tree removal. We got the quote for tree removal and stump grinding, but couldn't afford the stump grinder at this time so price is for removal only. But, the tree was maybe 100 yrs old and enormous, and located right by a building. It's hard to tell from the photos just how big this tree was -- I'd say the stump is nearly 5 feet across.

    Melena Landscaping
We have a landscaped front patio area that was flooding whenever it rained. Dan came over and looked it over and suggested a couple of buried french drain pipes to run the water down away from the landscaped area. They came and trenched the lines and put down gravel and the pipes and then covered the pipes with sod. The drains got their big test with the heavy rains the last couple of days and they worked as expected.

    Melena Landscaping
Dan Melena runs a great landscaping business. We have used him for several services including weekly mows, spring and fall cleanup and mulch. His prices tend to be a little high compared to other landscaping companies, but you get your money's worth from him and the guys working for him. We are highly satisfied with Melena Landscaping, thank you Dan!

    George's Tree & Landscaping Services
There's a reason George and his team have so many A's. They came out for an estimate on Wednesday, offered a fair price, and the trees were gone by Friday. I appreciated him providing his proof of insurance in a matter of minutes. Very reasonably priced and did a top quality job. These guys will be my "tree guys" going forward.

    Sprinkler Solutions
Steve contacted me before my 4:00 PM appointment time to inform me that the technician was running behind, and that I could either reschedule for 5:00 PM the same day or 9:00 AM the next day. Eddy, who came to do the work, explained everything to me, and was willing to talk to me about a few issues I was having with the sprinkler system and provide recommendations. Everything went exactly as well as I could have expected. Steve and Eddy were very professional, authentic, and respectful, and I would definitely hire these guys again!

Was told that the weed barrier was good for 20 years. Had numerous 5 gallon buckets filled with weeds within months. The owner did eventually reimburse us a small percentage of the cost of the barrier but only after months of having to pull weeds that we were told wouldn't grow through. Pavers were installed to drain water away but the water just puddles now. The grass that was planted only grew in minimal spots and grass seed had to be applied again by homeowner. Three junipers were planted and died within one month. Owner notified and he had them removed. Was told in Oct 2016 that new trees would be planted in the spring of 2017. Made contact with owner in April and after numerous attempts have had no communication with owner since. We are still owed money for this. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and they made multiple attempts at contacting the owner and he never responded. His accreditation has been revoked and the company has an "F" rating. The Ohio Attorney General office has made 2-3 attempts at contacting the owner and he has not responded to their inquiries either. This was a very large project for us and this company owner has failed to reimburse us the money that he stated in writing he would.

    Lebanon Lawn & Landscape
Have had great success with using Lebanon Lawn for bi-weekly lawn mowing, since the beginning of their business operations. Crews have always been professional and punctual. One-time yard clean-up, to remove large weed and brush accumulation along fence lines and creek, went smoothly. Yard is now maintainable with the use of a weed trimmer.
