Niel is very nice person and easy to work with and after the installation he even give me up grade warranties to silver. ACincinnati RetroFoam InsulationWe have a garage that runs underneath the house. The three rooms that were over the garage were colder than the rest of the house. In October we had Retrofoam inject foam insulation in the ceiling of the garage , hoping that would help warm those rooms. Now that we have had cold weather, I really notice how much warmer those rooms are. They did a good job, and there was no mess to clean up.- MARIANNE H.

ADr. Energy Saver CincinnatiMy wife and I have had issues for years with a "drip" noise in our ductwork that would keep us both up at night. After having several HVAC professionals & plumbers out to take a look to no avail, Chris was able to trace the problem to a lack of insulation that allowed cold air to penetrate the house. He was able to seal up the problem areas and immediately the duct area and vent heated back up to normal levels and the popping sound decreased dramatically! I can't recommend Chris enough. He held true to his guarantee to fix the problem and waived his minimum charge after hearing about all the issues we've been facing. AMooney & Moses of OhioCasey, the installer from Mooney & Moses, was fantastic! The shower glass install for our 3rd bathroom was scheduled for 12/2 and Casey discovered that the glass had not been cut to the correct dimensions. He was sincerely apologetic even though neither measuring nor cutting the glass was his responsibility. Three weeks later, Casey returned to install the correct shower glass. He was friendly and again apologized for the delay. Most importantly, we appreciated his attention to detail and top-quality installation work. The shower glass looks wonderful.- Jon P.

ADr. Energy Saver CincinnatiFantastic Value and Amazing Attention to Detail! DES recently performed extensive work at my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I selected them after receiving quotes from 9 other providers. They were not the least expensive, but they were certainly the best value. Chris did a tremendously thorough survey of the house before crafting a quote. Prior to his arrival, I prepared a somewhat esoteric list of details that I wanted to be addressed during the work. While Chris was looking over the property, he proposed a solution to each of the issues on my list before I even had a chance to mention them to him. His building science knowledge was superior to any of the other contractors, so it was an easy decision to select DES. The work was scheduled promptly, and Harrison’s crew did a great job. They were a well-oiled machine, and the amount of work they accomplished in one day was nothing short of astounding. They put down plastic, swept, vacuumed, and wet-mopped when they were done. The very first night after the work was completed, the temperature differential between the first and second floor was substantially eliminated. The hot spots and cold spots were gone, and the overall comfort of the house was unmistakably improved. I can’t wait to watch the long-term energy savings in the years to come. If anything has been bothering you about the energy efficiency of your house, do not hesitate to hire DES to take care of you!- Jason S.

AAfter doing some research for gutter guards, I decided to call Cincinnati Gutter & Roof Protection. John came out and gave an estimate for the guards and as soon as an opening became available, the guards were installed. The young man who installed the guards was very nice. A few weeks after the installation, I called John with a concern about how the the gutter was sitting and he came as soon as he was available and fixed the issue. He even did some additional maintenance/repair on the soffit. I would recommend when looking for gutter work, that Cincinnati Gutter & Roof Protection be considered.

DI contacted them in the spring. They came out, said they needed a drone to look at the chimney, but it was broken. I contacted them several times and the drone was never fixed and no one ever called to finish the inspection.

AAs part of an overall process to improve energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint, we had Sustainergy perform an energy audit on our home. All went better than expected, until the inspection uncovered a significant mold problem in our attic. This was independently verified by a trusted home inspector. After obtaining several quotes for remediation and for air-sealing/insulation, we selected Sustainergy to do both. Their price was in line with other quotes, and I already had an appreciation for their work. The schedule was complicated by additional HVAC work being done at the time, part of which was in the same attic. Sustainergy arrived each day as planned and worked very nicely to dovetail with the other work. Remediation was careful and thorough, air-sealing was good, and final insulation was amazingly fast and buried all HVAC ducts as requested. An attic isn't something I would normally describe as "beautiful", but in this case that is exactly how I felt about the end product. Throughout the process, the entire crew were courteous and professional. Flequer and Lindsey answered numerous questions and went out of their way to ensure we were all on the same page and that our needs were being met. In fact, I can honestly say I have never worked with a contractor as responsive and customer-focused as Sustainergy, special credit to Flequer. That kind of customer support is rare and something I truly value. If I had a further need, I would definitely contact Sustainergy again.

They didn't return, so she put in a new roof vent. I was happy with her work. She seemed very knowledgeable and professional.
