  He did a super job, reconditioning both driver and passenger's seats so they would look the same, and re-stuffed the driver's seat as it had compressed considerably over the years. Very difficult to find this kind of repair work being done in the Cinci area at all, and very pleased that this shop did such a professional job. Highly recommend them.

  These 3 guys were AWESOME!  The move could not have gone better. They were kind and punctual and put me at ease - since this piano and move was so important to me. They spent so much time and took so much care to make sure this piano was taken care of and moved down a steep flight of stairs and around a corner - safely. They were going to send 2 men and I pushed hard to get 3 men - given the safety concerns of going down the stairs - and that's exactly what they gave me 3 men who moved with great care and took their time - and didn't charge me one cent more for asking for 3 men instead of 2. And their rate for moving a piano was by far the best of the companies I called!  Would absolutely recommend them and hire them again in a heartbeat.

  Overall the quality of work was excellent. I am very pleased with the workmanship. I also had him order the fabric for the reupholster job and I thought he had a good selection to choose from. The only thing is that he stays pretty busy so it may take a bit of time for the work to be completed. It took about a month and a half for our chairs to be complete, but it was worth the wait.

  Montgomery Moving & Piano

  They were very professional and loaded the truck very expertly. They handled both pianos with care and told us how to secure the piano that went into the rental truck. The move was 350 miles away and everything was fine when we arrived at the new house. The only issue that arose was a mixup in communications on the time so the guys were late. However they sent an extra guy for free and completed the work in the timeframe we agreed upon with no extra charges or surprises. I would highly recommend them for a move or moving a piano.

  Furniture Medic by Cinti Furniture Restoration

  I initially hired Furniture Medic to refinish an old dresser to match the rest of a bedroom set.  We used the color of the mirror to 'match' for the refinish.  The color of the mirror was a bit darker than the rest of the furniture so dresser turned out way too dark.  Even though it was too dark, the workmanship on the refinish was good.  Customer service was nice and understanding about this issue.  As the quote was to match the mirror, I paid to have the dresser redone a second time in a lighter color.  I provided several dresser drawers from another dresser and they agreed that they could match this dresser and mirror.
   
  The second refinish on dresser is disappointing.  I assumed that they would be able to match the finish color and finish appearance of the other drawers I provided.  The refinish left a lot of the 'darker' color behind in the wood grain and gives the dresser a marblish look vs a smooth color finish.  The color is good, but still doesn't really match the rest of the furniture.  As this is the second refinish job I have paid for on this dresser, I am disappointed that I still don't have a finished piece that I am happy with.
  I contacted Furniture Medic last week to see what my additional options are on this piece.  Still waiting to hear back from them.
  
  UPDATE: I heard back from them soon after the initial review was posted.  They understood how I didn't like the finish and were willing to re-do the work free of charge.  They picked up and delivered free of charge as well.  As the most disappointing parts of the dresser were the drawer fronts and the top, they re-did the finish on these parts.  I was told they hand sanded down these areas and did not use any chemicals as this may have been why the wood grain ended up so dark on the second go-around.  I am happy to say that the refinished dresser looks good and matches well with the rest of the bedroom set now.  While it did take a while to end up with a good finished product, I am happy that Furniture Medic stood behind their quality of work and were willing to re-do the dresser.  They saw that this issue would require extra attention and stepped up to provide extra service to make sure the job got done right.

  COX UPHOLSTERING

  Mr. Cox did a beautiful job on my dining chairs! I am so glad that I chose him from Angie's list and will use him for all my projects in the future. He picked up and delivered my furniture when completed. That was such a help - not everyone offers that service and the others I had called required me to bring all 8 chairs to them.
  He was able to have the chairs ready in time for Thanksgiving day! Which is saying a lot since I called him a month before and he was very busy. They were delivered the day before - perfect timing!

  STUMP PIANO TUNING & SERVICE

  Overall, our experience was great! My husband is very happy with the tuning of our piano. We'll use Stump again. We were able to make an appointment with Kathy within a week of my husband's call to her. She was running behind on the day of the appointment, but she was very courteous and called to let me know she'd be late. Kathy was very thorough in her inspection of the piano and gave us a recommendation of someone who could repair damage sustained when the piano was dropped by movers. She then proceeded to tune the piano - it sounds beautiful now!!!

  CLOSETS BY DESIGN

  Designer visited promptly and was helpful in assessing alternatives. Placed order on April 3. Installation was schedule for June 6, as we were told installers were all busy with new home construction until then. When I called to confirm installation appointment I was assured that the installer could complete the work in one day. Installer arrived with less than half the pieces to assemble the unit. Came back the next day with a few more pieces. We were told the Formica counter top had not yet arrived from the manufacturer in Canada. Installer came back in late June to complete the job. The Formica counter top was cut too small and did not fit the desk. Other pieces to complete the job including keyboard, backing, shelving were still missing. We were told the properly sized Formica top will be delivered in mid July. One piece of overhead cabinets were also installed backwards so that unfinished side is exposed rather than facing the ceiling.
