    Henry Excavating Inc
Henry Excavating responded promptly to our call for an estimate to replace 476' of blue max water supply line. After we decided to hire them, they scheduled within a week to perform the job. From the time they arrived at the property, it was clear they were well organized, experienced and very professional. We debated and researched HDD vs. open trench, very glad we went with HDD. Not only were they cheaper than open trench, the damage to the landscape and yard was minimized and we were without water for only a couple hours. Roger, his son John and the rest of the crew were very nice and friendly, would definitely hire them again. I researched the material requirements before speaking to any plumbing contractors. Roger's proposed materials exceeded all the requirements set by the county. Also they provided us with a 2 year warranty. Before we hire a contractor, we get quotes from at least 3 sources. I ended up calling 8 to get 4 quotes. Was surprised at the range of estimates we received, from cheapest to most expensive was nearly double. Also surprised that some companies wanted a fee to provide quote, I didn't even bother to schedule with them.

    Creech's Lawn & Landscaping
These guys were amazing. Curt came out to survey the project then got back to us with a quote and software design visual in a timely manner. (Note: the other companies we approached did not offer the software visual - so important to understanding what you are paying for - and did not get back to us in a timely manner. One company didn't bother to follow up at all.) What made part of our project a little unusual is that we were asking them to complete a six foot landscape wall we had begun several years ago and had not gotten around to finishing. They used what materials we already had on site, adding their own to blend in as necessary, and made the area look 100x better than it had previously. They also installed a beautiful paver walkway, small raised bed flower area with stone walls, a paver pad for our trash cans, and drainage tile with pop-up drain for heavy rains that siphoned the water away from the garage, with mulch and river stone as design elements. The crew was also polite, professional, on time and neat. It was obvious they took great pride in their work. We cannot recommend Creech Landscaping too highly. We would definitely hire them again!

    HONTHY TRENCHING

Everything went great - It was actually raining pretty good on the day that Joe came out - He didn't care - he went right to work - it took about 45 minutes to find the backup - tree root had maneuvered between two fittings and the roots spread out in the piping and caused a total backup - the piping probably goes about 2/3's of an acre so it is a pretty lengthy pipe that runs the perimeter of the yard

Joe didn't have all of the materials to do the job correctly - came back two days later and put some pieces back in place so that the water could drain from the curtain drain all the way down to the culvert at the end of my driveway - put a couple of fittings that will help us tell next time exactly where the backup is - all in all a very professional job

Joe is a great guy that does great work - he initially put the curtain drain in and charged a very reasonable price - he has a great personality and he is a hard worker that charges a fair price

    highly recommend

    AquaProof Inc
We called AuqaProof out to our house in June due to yard drainage issues and basement flooding.  We submitted an online request for a quote and we got a return call back within 24 hours.  Had James out for an estimate within the next week.  Work was completed by the end of June.
We were initially only interested in adding trench drainage on our one side of our yard.  We live along a gradual incline so all the water up the hill will run down into and thru our yard with heavy rains.  Water was pooling along our deck area.  And heavy rain flow had started to flow along our foundation and leaked water in through a window in the basement.  Felt very confident talking with James that he and his company had experience and knew what they were doing.  Ended up with trench drainage on both sides of our deck and along property areas where the water was pooling.  They buried the drain line down to the sewer drain in the corner of our backyard property.  They also tied in our existing gutter drains to this drain line to the sewer.  Also redid and added a gutter drain that was missing on the one side of our roof.
It has only been a month, but I can notice a huge difference in our yard after a heavy rain.  I am very happy with the work they did.  The team that did the work was very professional and friendly, and made sure to do everything correctly and how we wanted it.  I would definitely recommend them for water drainage work.

    Nieman Plumbing
AJ was somewhat difficult to reach, but I believe he was having phone system issues at the time. Once contacted, he came fairly quickly to assess the work and provided an oral estimate range. He later followed up with a written estimate that was somewhat higher than the range initially provided, but not excessively. The bid was in the range of the open trenching bids I had received earlier. I prefer directional boring to open trenching, as it leaves much less damage to the yard and requires much less repair work to the landscaping.

Ultimately, I went with another very good directional bore company whose bid was better. However, I saw nothing that would have prevented me from hiring AJ's company under other circumstances.

    Tri State Waterproofing
The owner came out. The guys were very clean and thorough. I was really pleased with them. They did a really good job of repairing the area that they took the cement out of. They cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job while working through my flower bed.

    PTS CONSTRUCTION
Paul from PTS called me back promptly the same day I called. He managed to start the job the following Monday and was completed in one week. He completely explained to me the work he was doing and called me a couple times during the week to give me progress reports on his own initiative. He even did extra things on the job that impressed me with the quality of his work such as repairing a leaking AC pipe under the house, adding a crawl space well and putting a sock bib around the downspout where it goes into the French drain at ground level to prevent dirt from getting into the drains.

It took them 3.5 hours start to finish for a job that would have taken me 3-4 days.
