  • Was referred to this ENT after repeated trips to my primary care physician for unexplained face/ear area pain. The appointment was scheduled 3 weeks out and they just called cancelling my appt. 2 days prior to my office visit date. I have been suffering for the past 3 weeks waiting to see him. I should also note that the cancellation call what done by an automated voice messaging system.   Every attempt to call the office back to reschedule has been met with a busy signal. Treating a patient this way is an unacceptable practice!!!

  • She a very fair doctor. She's very good. She's very good at checking things out, she's very thorough. She's very good at bedside manner too. She found things like I had a freckle on my one pupil and non of the other eye doctors ever saw that. She keeps an eye on it so it doesn't go into a cancer or something like that. She's very thorough. She does a good job and is very nice to be with. I wouldn't trade her for the world.

  • I called and described my symptoms. I was offered a same day appointment, but I had a conflict at work. Since my eye problem wasn't an emergency, I asked for and was granted an appointment for the next day. Dr. Neiger carefully examined the eye. He prescribed medication and told me that if the eye did not clear up, to call the office and he would refer me to a specialist. Medication cleared up the problem. Added bonus--I waited less than five minutes to see the doctor even though I arrived early for my appointment.
  • I have been experiencing multiple symptoms for over a year and had met with many Doctors and had too many trips to the ER.
I was very impressed with her and all the staff at the Stephanie Spielman Cancer center and at the James. They went out of their way to help you, and walked you everywhere you had to go. Everyone was friendly and compassionate.
But what impressed me the most was that after the surgery Dr Backes researched my symptoms and found an obscure syndrome that described me perfectly. This syndrome was not in her area and she took it upon herself to call my Rheumatologist and bring it to her attention. I've seen a lot of doctors, and generally, when you are not in front of them, you are not on their mind as they have many other patients that require their attention.
I have searched my own symptoms for hours on end and never found a reference to this Syndrome. Doctors, of course have access to some medical web sites that the public can't. Still, my Rheumatologist said there was only a few lines about it. But I was able to find some private health boards, where other patients discussed this Gleich Syndrom. I highly recommend Dr Backes. Her office is on Olentangy at the Stephanie Spielman Cancer Center.

  • I saw Dr Whistler while my rheumatologist was out of the country. He was very nice. He ordered some  testing to address my current problem. He also commented that he would order more tests based on my sytmptoms, but that it was not his call. He did make a note in my caht, which my regular Rheumatologist dismissed immediately. (You can also see my review of her - Dr Madhu Mehta). I am going to try to get back in to see Dr Whisler, who seems actually concerned about my health.

  • I have been visiting him for about two or three years.  He was recommended to me by another doctor that I haven’t seen earlier.  I am pretty much satisfied with his services.  I can’t say anything bad about him.  I would visit him again in the future if I need to.

  • Dr. Timothy J Custer

Dr. Custer, also performed my gallbladder surgery in 2006. He is very good, personable, very thorough with explaining the procedure and what he is going to do, answers your questions and he really knows his stuff. My doctor performed several tests and couldn't figure out for a long time what was wrong with me so, he sent to Dr. Carter. Dr. Carter, went over all my test and knew exactly what was wrong with me, then he perform surgery to remove my gallbladder. I was miserable for year until Dr. Cater, performed my surgery and now I am pain free and all the problems I was having is gone, now I have my life back. Doesn't take long to get an appointment, the office environment is real good they have a christian atmosphere, when you go in they have christian music playing and plenty of magazines to look at. I had 2 little, tiny incisions and now you can't see them.

  • He is very personable and his staff is very nice. I've seen him for several years and I've never had an issue. His office is not in the best area of town. He is open-mined and willing to listen to what I have to say. He will listen to my suggestions because I know myself and how I respond to things better than he does.

  • They used to be called Capitol City Cardiology. They have done an excellent job treating me for my heart problems. Fortunately I don't have to deal with them that often. They have been professional and easy to access. They seem genuinely concerned with my heart health. I would recommend them to anyone. The staff is very cheerful. .

  • The procedures went quite well. Dr. Manokas is very good about explaining situations to me. He's been very hands-on and helpful about adjusting my diet to assist with digestive problems as well. I've been going to him for nearly 8 years, and I hope he doesn't retire!
