    Patridge Surveying LLC
Patridge Surveying is a great company to work with. The are very professional and did a great job on our new build project. It was complicated to locate the house, well & septic on our lot and Bob helped educate me and make recommendations on how to get through the process. He was also very patient with all of our questions and changes.

Matt and Bob Patridge were very polite marked my property lines and provided me with a printout of the plat. I would refer them to friends and neighbors.

    Benchmark Land Surveying
It was first-rate. We needed it asap and were able to be squeezed into their schedule within a few days. The guys who came out were professional and quick, and Barb was fantastic with her speedy emails and calls. The only negative about the day was the weather (bitter cold and snowing) but the guys worked right through it all. Cost was very affordable.

    XYZ SURVEY SERVICE
I only gave a "B" in punctuality because of having to contact them 2 more times before work was scheduled and carried out. But then I was scheduled quickly and they arrived on time and were pleasant to work with.

    Ackison Surveying LLC
Excellent! We agreed on Friday for survey to be done but someone was free Thursday so the survey was completed a day early. Rich took my initial call and remained my point of contact through the process. Very professional, kept his word, completed work ahead of agreement. I'm very pleased & recommend Atkinson without hesitation.

    Ackison Surveying LLC
My sweetheart and I need to arrange for two different contractors to take care of our yard grading/landscaping. Before doing any work, we wanted to understand what property was ours, to be be respectful of our neighbors and not interfere on their land. I called and spoke directly to Mr. Ackison. I asked him a series of questions about his service and before he answered, he asked permission to get grounded on our project (or the "why") of the phone call, so he could better assist me. I explained to him what we needed to do and he listened very carefully, asking additional, thoughtful questions. Afterwards, Mr. Ackison gave me several options, explaining each in thorough detail, helping guide me to the one that best fit our needs. He did not try to up-sell me on services that I did not need. (We arranged for a basic survey of finding existing pins and staking) He even offered his Angie's List discount on his own accord, without my asking for it. In addition, he even offered to return at a later date, if needed - if neighbors were upset - to continue with a more in-depth survey (adding a detailed map/plan of our property, etc) for the difference of the regular survey and the next, more expensive option. My conversation with Mr. Ackison was absolutely refreshing and his honesty and fairness meant A LOT. To me, he seems to understand that folks are still having a difficult time with the recession and rising gas prices and he conducts his business with their best interest in mind. In addition, I felt he was as equally respectful of my neighbors without even knowing them. I really felt safe with Mr. Ackison and I knew I didn't have to call any other surveying company, even tho I had 2 more on my list to contact. As for the work done - I left a message for Mr Ackison requesting him and his crew to conduct the survey and gave him a very narrow window to actually do the work (I had a family emergency back home and needed to leave immediately). He returned my call call promptly and made arrangements to come to our home a day earlier than I requested to accommodate my leaving. The next morning at 8:00 a.m. Dan and two other crew members arrived at my home. Before beginning the work, Dan took a few minutes to explain the process and what the crew was going to do as we walked around the yard. Along the way, he also asked if I wanted stakes at every location they were intending - he did not have to place them all and could only focus on the corners if I wanted. I really appreciated Dan taking time with me. I felt like he really wanted me to be completely satisfied with the work he was going to do. What also stood out to me was Dan's sunny disposition. He was so friendly, courteous and professional. I watched as the crew dug the stake holes and they were not too disruptive to the ground. The holes were an adequate size to accommodate the stakes, yet they were small enough to be respectful of our really nice neighbors. I can assure you, if we need any other survey work done be it here or at a future home, Mr Acksion is the man we will be calling. And Dan is the crew leader we will be asking for. Ackison Surveying is the real deal.

I contacted Rich Ackison by phone and also sent a back-up e-mail. He called me back the morning of February 8th and said he could have a crew out to do the job the same day. Later in the morning, my wife called to say that there were 4 guys out in the yard. I wasn't home while the job was being done. When I arrived home, I found that wooden stakes with pink streamers and what the location represented written on the stake had been placed at the 4 corners of our property as well as along the side lot lines and also on both sides of the stream that bisects the rear yard. It was quite easy to determine our property lines from these markers. This allowed me to determine that the neighbor to the rear is storing his stuff on our property without permission. Rich also contacted me with a follow-up call to see if I had any questions. I am very pleased with the extremely fast service and I think the price was resonable and well worth it. I would recommend Ackison and use them again.

We have nothing but good things to report about our experience hiring Ackison Surveying to perform a survey of our property. As anyone looking for a surveyor for a lot housing a private residence will likely learn, finding someone to do the job efficiently and at a fair price seems almost to be an impossibility. Phone calls to the limited number of surveyors in the Columbus area go unanswered and messages left do not elicit a response. Appointments made are, as often as not, not honored and, just as infrequently, are no-shows cancelled. It is in this context that our experience with Ackison Surveying was such a happy revelation. We dealt directly with Rich Ackison, the company's president. He was immediately responsive to our phone call and he, personally, performed the surveying work. He scheduled the job within a day or two of our first contact and the price for the survey ($175) was, literally, half as much as a quote or two we had been given when we were lucky enough to reach someone who would offer a quote. Rich is extremely personable and took great care in performing the survey, uncovering and showing us several of the original posts marking the property from decades ago. He shared with us some illustrations of what our street looked like at that time showing a long removed alley between our house and our neighbor's. He answered all of our questions in accessible layman's language. We couldn't have asked for more and would recommend Rich Ackison and Ackison Surveying for your job without any hesitation whatsoever, utmost confidence, and great enthusiasm.

    Robert C. Rhyne. PLS
I am overwhelmingly pleased with Mr.Rhyne's service. I made arrangements for the survey on Monday, July 11th; giving Mr. Rhyne facts about the property. He researched descriptions of the property, from aerial maps, and deeds dating back to 1925. When I arrived on the site. Mr.Rhyne was on the job, and working. Mr.Rhyne is professional, and patient. He even took the time to converse over the telephone, with my 92 year old cousin who had lived in the house prior to granting it to me. He provided me with several signed and certified copies of the completed survey. It's very detailed and show the distance from the house to the property lines, and the location of the original metal stakes. He even drove in longer stakes, and placed pvc pipes over the spikes located in the rear of the property,to make them easier to find since they were covered with thick brush. Having such a detailed map provides a sense of security.
