    Kumler Collision Automotive
I had my car in to replace a broken side mirror. While waiting for the work to be done, I asked if they sold car batteries. Answer: Yes. So I gave my car brand, model & year and asked if they had a battery in stock for this car. Answer: Yes. It was installed. Three months later during cold weather the car wouldn't start. When the AAA service man took one look under the hood he showed me the battery Kumlers had installed. It was 13" too short for the battery pan, was a model made for a warmer climate & was on the shelf long enough to have lost much of it's charge. The AAA service man replaced it with a new battery that was the correct size, climate range. I inspected his work & the battery fit the space allotted for it. I called Kumlers gave them the information provided by AAA. They told me to bring the battery back and they would refund part of the cost of the battery but not the installation cost. Unfortunately, the service man had taken the battery with him for recycling so I had no battery to return. Since then, two neighbors who had used Kumlers had similar poor service. One was the removal & replacement of a rusted section of their car. The cost was high but the car in otherwise good shape. Rust reappeared after 1 year. On the recommendation of an acquaintance they took it to a one-man body repair shop where it was repaired for a significantly lower price. The rust has not returned after 6 years.

It’s just the experience and thoughtful quality auto care and auto body work. They do excellent auto detailing and I bought the car from them and it is probably the best car buying experience I've ever had. The salesman was the nicest no pressure salesman.  Nothing like “what are we gonna to get you in to see this car today” nothing like that. The biggest push he did was “what you think”.  I said give me a deal and he came back and said what do you think and I just said we’ll buy it. It was the smoothest transactions and calm so that’s why we like them.   I had body work done on the car and their maintenance area the same, no push. They are very personable, knowledgeable and quality. My wife had a little dent on the back of her car and the neighbor did it and didn’t’ want to take it into the insurance company and they said go get three quotes and I’ll pay for the middle one. I went to one and it was low, I went to another and it was expensive and I went to Bob-Boyd, the guy came out and there was a little tiny rubber about half-inch wide, a little rubber strip that went down the side of the roof line down to the trunk area and he went out there and took a pencil and went underneath that rubber passage piece that sealed the two areas and he ran all the way up and he goes “oh good, we can just bend this up and paint under it and drop it down when we spray the panel. I said you are the only one who has done that, everybody else was gonna tape it off and paint up to it. He looked at me and smiled and said that’s the way you should do it.  I was like that’s why you get the job.  So its little things like that keep you into somebody really know your business and that is what they’ve shown every step of the way. They are always looking out for the customer and if there is a little problem they don’t go “forget it or he can live with it.”

needed new tires on my 2011 Silverado so I stopped by to get an estimate. They had the specific tire that I wanted in stock, and were cheaper than some of the other  places around town. I was in and out in about 45 minutes and the truck now drives like new. I've purchased several sets of tires from Huddles over the years and found them to be competitive with the chains around town and usually receive better, more personalized service.

Took car car in for a long term oil leak, they managed to fix the problem at a fair price. While fixing the oil leak they had to take the transmission apart which subsequently started to leak. After they were advised of this they they repaired that leak also at no extra charge. The men running this garage are very honest, capable and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

He does excellent work. He has been in the business for 40 years. He is very knowledgeable and he is very polite, he has got a clean shop. He works there and his wife does the books and runs the computers. He has got a nice building and for me it's just location. I can walk and leave the car over there.

I purchased a new car in late fall of 2012. That spring I started using, and having trouble with the sun roof not working. It was unpredictable on when it would act up. It wouldnt open then it wouldnt close. Throughout the summer I had drove back and forth from Lancaster to Columbus to try and figure out what was causing the problem, and then later to be returned home with the car, and told they couldnt pin point the problem.
Then winter came when I didn't use the sun roof, and come spring again it started all over again. The sun roof has never been dependable to either open or close. They did extend the waranty, cleaned my car, and gave me a free tank of gas, and sent me on my way, and again said call if you have problem.  I still have a sun roof I can't trust from the day I bought my Terrain.
I am sure the expense of replacing it exceeds what they are willing to pay, so in the end In living with a car that has never been right from day one, and a piece of paper stating they will cover it for another 36,000 miles, as long as it pretty much completely breaks down, but not if it just acts up. The funny part about that is , it happened under it's original warranty, it is already covered, the extended warranty is useless, it's no better than the original. Wow, and they think they were doing me a favor.
I purchased a new vehicle that is as good as a used one. If I wanted a car with problems I would have purchased a used one, but I didn't. When a person purchases a new car, they expect no problems for the first 5-7 years, but that is all I have had is problems from day one.
I think the thing that upsets me most, is thier web site shows all these happy people getting thier new cars, and thinking if they only knew. They are good about selling them, and yes I was happy then too.
I have reported them to the main GM Corporation, and am now working with GM themselves to hopefully fix this problem for good.

They installed the radiator OK but they didn"t put the bottom hose in. All the coolant leaked out of the radiator and blew my engine up. The engine rebuild cost me over $1000. Thanks a lot Milby's!

We got a really good deal on it for about $17000. My wife's old convertible for 14 years was in the shop all the time. Finally the rust got so bad underneath that I was afraid for her to drive it so we traded it in. She started looking at things online and she showed me pictures of the Honda and it looked nice. It had a lot of interior space, a lot of horse power and a 10 year warranty. We love it and it rides wonderful. We got around in it in the Winter.

We recommend Huddles to all of our friends, employees, and anyone that asks. I keep 6 vehicles going myself, have been cheated or overcharged most other places, they have a working owner and a long term staff, the best secret in Lancaster!!

I never had any issues with anything they had done. The service was around $180, but I had $90 worth of service credit. So, it only cost me $90 to get it done. The main reason I go back to them is they have always done good work. Their repair cost has been very comparable. They had taken extra time to follow-up with me and keep me upraised when my next service appointment should be. I also get Ford service credits for everything that I do. So, I get to apply them to future service, and they have always kept my book up-to-date. My service record shows that they have always done all the work on it. That helps with my resell value. It shows that a Ford service has always done the work on it.
