    Sears Appliance Repair
    My first appointment was cancelled due to a sick tech, no problem it happens. Today is my rescheduled date with a 8-12 window, at 12:18 I called for an update and was told I'd get a call from Dispatch within the hour with an update. Never got a call from Dispatch, I called back at 1:35 for status and was told I'd get a call from Dispatch within the hour. Explained that Dispatch already failed to call me back and asked to be connected to Dispatch but the Customer Service lady had no means to do that and could only send an electronic request for them to call me. It's now 2 hours past their arrival window with no proactive contact from Sears as to why there is a delay.

    It went well once it got started. The first serviceman lied and said he had called me as I sat around waiting all day and he hadn't. But, they were very apologetic when I called them and asked why the guy wasn't here. They made another appointment and sent another guy out and gave me a discount. So, I was satisfied with what happened. They had a little trouble with that guy I guess. It was that one technician. Now, if he had called and said, "Oh, my child is sick. I've got to take him to the emergency room," or "Oh, I'm sick," I would have accepted it. But, nothing at all and then lying to the company and saying, "Oh yeah, I called her, there was no answer." I just called them, there was no one else to call. We don't have a lot of choices.

    Requested a service call for my Samsung refrigerator. Gentleman

    came out spent less than 10 minutes diagnosing the issue. Decided it was

    the sensors/thermistors ordered replacements.

    New symptom began after the tech left.

    Replacements came in that Wednesday --- scheduled install for Friday

    After the install the newest symptom wasn't fixed.

    Tech decided it was a control panel issue --- told me to order part. (on my own)

    ordered new part --- part came in on the following WEDNESDAY.

    Still didn't fix the new symptom.

    Called into Trio --- OWNER couldn't understand what I wanted them to do. Told

    me I clearly ordered the wrong part. (Hung up on me for apparently

    yelling :::imagine THAT::::)

    *67 and called back --- and finally got him to understand that I needed someone to come BACK out and take a look at it.

    Told me he could send someone out the FOLLOWING MONDAY.

    told him not to bother --- so I spent 200 bucks on nothing and ordered a new fridge from Sears that will be here Saturday.

    He traveled over 30 miles to do make the house call and I think that his service call charge was very, very reasonable. i also trusted his ability to diagnose the problem quickly. And he was professional and courteous. It was very easy to schedule the appointment over the weekend via his web site. Hoping that I don't have any more problems with large appliances but if I do, i will call him again.

    Once again, Troy was extremely efficient and professional.  To repair the dryer outlet he came over on short notice and fixed it right away.  For the other repairs we had arranged a time in advance and he arrived on schedule and repaired everything quickly.  He is very skilled at doing a variety of repairs -- electrical, wood work, furniture repair, plumbing, and so forth -- and he is therefore an excellent handyman.  I certainly recommend him extremely highly.

    It turned out that it didn't need a lot of work. The technician was helpful in explaining our washer to us. He explained how much soap to use along with other general information since, the company that installed it did not explain it well.
