AGotcha Covered of AvonWe are so pleased with the work and with the company! Matt gave us a quote, and at first, we waited to respond, because we were trying to find cornices in wood. We received a follow-up email from Matt and Jen (in the office) and we asked about the wood. To our surprise, Matt was more than happy to work to give us EXACTLY what we were looking to find. He emailed design choices, and then came to determine what color (stain) would be best for us. Within weeks they had custom made our perfect cornices, installed in just over an hour and they look so beautiful, I love them more every time I look at them! I do not have access to Google reviews or Twitter, etc...so I hope this review reaches a lot of people! Gotcha Covered deserves to be recognized for the company of quality, integrity and excellence it is! Our home is tiny but it is our home, and we love this beautiful addition. Thank you so much. AMr. Handyman of S. Orange/Westfield/Scotch Plains & MetuchenIt went as smooth as possible. Mr. Handyman and Ron Potesky's team turned an attic into a bedroom with A/C and heat, built a closet, replaced major kitchen appliances, replaced carpeting, replaced all smoke and CO2 detectors, re-wired ceiling fans, painted all interior walls, powewashed the deck and vinyl fence, then painted the deck, removed and donated or disposed of all furniture and personal items of the tenant. The team coordinated all appointments of city inspectors and professional sanitization of a very dirty space. When Mr Handyman was done, the intetior of the house looked like something out of Better Homes and Gardens! The team could be totally trusted with the housekeys. They coordinated with the realtor and the house sold in one week end!!! I highly recommend the integrity, workmanship and reliability of Mr. Handyman now located in Springfield, New Jersey, and i would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!- Iris B.

AGibson General Contracting IncThe day my wife and I closed on our home a main pipe in the attic bathroom broke and water ran in the house for 24hrs ( my wife and I were in Colorado when the closed). Reached out to some friends and they recommended Gibson Contracting, I am very happy they did. Not only did James work with us to rebuild a home which was demolished down to the studs, James worked with our lawyer pushing our insurance company to pay the full amount it would take to complete the house. We worked with James for over a year ( the insurance company took their time, not James) which allowed us to get to know him and his employees. They did a great job building our home from new, under budget and on time! James also explained many of the steps his team and other outside contractors would need to do. James is going to be working with us in about 9 months on a new home and I would highly highly recommend Gibson Contracting to anyone who needs a contractor.- Daniel S.

I described the problem and Michelle connected me to Joel, who immediately knew from my description what needed to be done and gave me a price. He also spent 10 or 15 minutes telling me how to take the shade down, and showed great patience with my ineptness, so that I could avoid the cost of a service call. We agreed on a time the next morning when he would be able to do the repair while I waited. After the repair, he showed me how to reinstall the shade.- arthur l.

ALZL INTERIORSLaurie's ideas and service exceeded our expectations! She worked with us as a true partner, getting to know what was important to us so that she could translate it into the design of the condo. She gave us a very accurate ballpark cost estimate for what we wanted to do in terms of her time and furnishings and brought the project in on budget. She helped us as we looked for a contractor, pointing out questions to ask and what might be expected. After hiring a contractor she worked with them, helping to solve problems and overseeing elements of the work to ensure that things were done as envisioned. Her sense of detail orientation is excellent and her standard of quality very high. Our new condo feels like a genuine reflection of us and our lifestyle. She helped us design a mudroom that included plans I never would have thought up myself--even if I had countless hours on Pinterest or design magazines. She is efficient in her use of space. She listened to what we were looking to achieve. She managed the builders quickly and effectively. All that on a reasonable budget. We have used Barb for many things--furniture, window treatments, consultation on colors, and the mudroom addition, etc. We'll go to her again for our next project. AMore Than BlindsOur experience with Brian Ross was phenomenal. He had a wide variety of window treatments to choose from. He worked with us and our budget. The day our shades came in, immediately came over and install them. Took about less than an hour for the whole house to be completed. Brian offers an excellent warranty. He has frequently checked in to see how things are going and if the product has met our expectations. We have already referred him to one family member, and will continue to do the same. ANeubert Painters did a great job with our kitchen cabinets. We had painted the walls as a quarantine activity and did some miscellaneous updates. That made the cabinets look even older and dirtier. We had Neubert come in and paint the cabinents two colors, green on bottom and white on top (my daughters talked me into that). I cannot be happier with the results. The quality of the paint job was amazing. With the paint sprayer, the finish is so smooth. I could not have done anything on my own that would be to this quality. The technician was great to work with. He kept us informed on every step of the way, so we always knew what to expect. I found Neubert from the internet and saw many positive reviews. After our experience, I am happy to join the group and let others know about our positive experience.

AI tried to get 3 bids. All three companies were quite busy with orders. One could not give me an estimate in a reasonable time. The other two company estimates varied by $1,000.00 for exactly the same product. We went with the lower bid and expanded the scope of work to be done. The installation team was great, despite problems along the way. Demolition took an additional day as the old glued down flooring was very difficult to pry up and they were one man down with a sick day. The on-site foreman is a great contractor. He made sure the job was done right, doing even more work than the higher bid would promise. He watched the details despite the office pushing him to be done ASAP. I know he was between a rock & hard place and his attention was always to give the customer top quality work. There was a communication problem with the Sales Office due to my expanding the scope of work. I attribute it to normal problems having any work done during a busy season. There was a lot of leaving messages instead of direct dialogue. Tile look flooring was ordered for 2nd bath instead of wood look vinyl. This meant the workers were a box short of completing the job. Stephano, Installation Manager, jumped on solving the mix-up right away. One box was exchanged for the wood look product. The job was expected to take 2-3 days, when it actually took 5 ... primarily due to the team being one man down due to illness. The job is not done yet, as we are waiting for delivery of product. This means our Guest Bath is partially done and the toilet had to be removed to lay the floor ... so we have one less bath probably for 2 weeks. This is NORMAL whenever you have major renovation done in your home. Always start a project with your sense of humor intact. It's an inconvenience that is irksome when it happens, but the company and it's workers have been excellent throughout the process. Early 2019 will be Phase 2 - Living/Dining Rm, Kitchen & Laundry. AWe compared prices with 3 other vendors and the Louver Shop had the best price for a good quality vertical blind by Hunter Douglas. We were told it would be 4 to 6 weeks until installation and it was 5 weeks and the person who installed the blinds was excellent and very professional and cleaned up after himself. We were very pleased.

AExcellent. They spent one whole day power washing and prepping. That in itself made our house look 100 times better. The job only took about three days. There are a couple issues that have not been addressed, but they are cosmetic and personal preferences. Their price was a little higher than some of the others we had gotten estimates from; however, they addressed all our needs. They were friendly and I felt they did good work (time will tell) and I would use them again.
