His quote was very competitive for the job. We also added blown in insulation to the job. The insulation went in first. Guys were there right on time. Although they had an equipment issue that slowed them a while, job was done quickly and cleanly. The roof came a week later. Again, the guys showed up as planned. They explained that they needed to complete the garage the next day as they were behind slightly due to weather but for us it was no issue. There were no surprises. Clean up was good and roof looks great. As these things go, this was as painless a process as I could have hoped for. I would certainly recommend and already have for the insulation.- Scott B.

ARegency Design + BuildI found Regency Design and Build on Angie's list and based on my discussions with Norm and the detailed quality of the proposal he gave me, I decided to hire them for the major upgrades at my home in Solon. I live out of state, so it was important to hire a company that knew what they were doing, is ethical, honest, and loved my home as much as I did. The crew including Eli, Nicole, Mo, Charlie, and Lisa were incredibly generous with their time and TLC. Norm did a number of video calls with me to show me the status of my work and Eli took lots of pictures and loaded them to their Buildertrend website so I could view them. Nicole was phenomenal with the calendar, scheduling, follow-ups, and keeping me apprised of the job completion status and the team overall ESPECIALLY NORM went above and beyond to address my concerns and needs. Norm was also fair and honest in the pricing of change orders or unforeseen items. He took full responsibility for the performance and quality of the job his team did, addressing gaps immediately without complaining. My project was over $100k and Norm and team delivered an excellent quality job for my investment. I very rarely do reviews of companies and typically only do them when I am really unhappy with the quality of a company's job. This was different. I felt compelled to share my truth about Norm and Regency Design and Build's quality and professionalism. I will likely use them again for a future project.- Abbey O.

After several quotations from individual companies who could only handle one or two of the desired projects, we finally found a company who is an owner and qualified contrator that could complete the entire project from start to finish. It was so important to deal with one person and company because I wanted quality service and products, a price break, coordination of colors and continuity, and all of this done in the least amount of time! Our project began immediately and logistically flowed from one satisfied job to another. All of the crews and workers were professional, courteous, experienced and there to do an exceptional job. Most of them have worked for this company for numerous years! I could not believe that this could go so smooth. No bad outcomes occured. AI can not say enough about this company. From scheduling to completion I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Steve R. was exceptional with his communication, always keeping me updated and educated on what him and his crew were doing and with a time frame for each step. They were here when they said they'd be and were consistent with working here everyday for a week straight. They were trustworthy and friendly with my animals, which I truly appreciated. They also cleaned up everyday before they left the job. I highly recommend this company! I'm confident we will be alot warmer here come winter and cooler come summer, they were very thorough. AThinking I had an insulation issue because icicles were forming on on gutter, I got estimates from 3 companies. Ray Sabin, PM at NRG stated that my issue was the gutter not insulation. Ray is an honest vendor that will not sell you unnecessary services and products.

FDuring the initial meeting when we received our estimate and up until the day we signed our contract, we were very pleased with our decision to go with Mike and his company. He had lots of information to pass along, plenty of "5 stars" and "A Ratings" with documentation to prove it. Lots of wonderful talk and paperwork showing how important his clients were to the success of his company. Once we signed our contract everything began to go downhill. It took more than 3 months to get the new roof put on (was told no more than 4 weeks, weather did play some of a roll in this so we didn't hold a grudge over it). However, they came and installed an entire new roof and tear down in one day while my wife and I were at work, no notification they were coming or working at the house that day. No chance for us to see what it looked like below the shingles, no chance to meet his subcontractors, no chance to take the dogs somewhere for the day. The very first rain came just a few days later, we had 2 new leaks. Mike wouldn't return our phone calls and it took another 8 weeks for them to come out and fix the damage (on the outside, we were responsible for all the new damage inside the home). Another 5 months went by, playing phone tag and exchanging text messages with Mike. We were continually told we were next on the docket for gutters. Finally we cut our losses and hired another company to do it instead. No apology, no coverage for new damages, and overall a terrible experience that I would not hope for any homeowner. In the year and half since, we have had to do more repairs on our "new" roof, and rather than use our warranty we have paid to have someone else come and work on our home. Our money deserved to have gone elsewhere.

One of the few companies who actually came through with an estimate for a major rehab of my screened-in porch and other items. Mike's team (Mark and others) arrived when promised and worked on this job for several weeks until it was completed to my satisfaction. There were many facets to the job and the team was communicative throughout ensuring I was in agreement with everything they did. They even constructed a custom doggie door as part of the project! AI chose Ken’s Parkhill Roofing because they were highly recommended by the city inspector and also by a respected general contractor. John arrived within a few days of my call to write the estimate. The owner, Ken, honored my timetable for the job. The crew arrived promptly each day and worked continuously with only a break for lunch. John, Greg, Shannon, and crew were very professional and answered all my questions. Along with the new roof, Parkhill installed three ridge vents and the corresponding smart (soffit) vents, replaced several areas of rotted plywood, and installed and connected a bathroom exhaust vent. Due to the roofline configuration, the roof, vent, and gutter/downspout installation was very tedious, but the 10-man, 6-truck crew did a great job. They also installed an additional downspout in the area above the front door, which seems to have resolved a water issue in the basement directly underneath - an unexpected bonus! The work took three days to complete, two for the roof and one for the gutters, gutter guards and downspouts. The crew did a thorough clean-up each day. Ken called personally after the job was completed to make sure I had no concerns. After several heavy rainstorms and a big snowstorm, there are no leaks. I highly recommend Parkhill and would hire them again.
